    My whole problem with Brandon's explanation is if humans didn't have powers yet how did they destroy their old world. If they had voidbinding powers, how did they free themselves from Odium?

    Brandon should write Edgedancer 2 short novel before book 4 and theme it around Adolin reviving Maya.

    Shallan is at the fourth oath and hasn't manifested plate yet so maybe it depends on the order. I personally believe that the lesser spren work under the bonded spren to form the plate.

    I think the bonded spren becomes in charge of the lesser spren in order to make and summon the plate. Syl talks about the possibility in part one. The StormFather wouldn't provide that kind of service I don't think.

    Likewise, I believe Kaladin can't do what Dalinar did with adhesion. I think Renarin's unique situation will give him atium like abilities? And perhaps Willshapers will be able to teleport like the Oathgates.

    I don't get it. How could their powers have destroyed their other world when nobody back then had surgbinding? If anything it was voidbinding. Surgebinders didn't exist until the heralds and then later the Radiants once the spren mimicked their powers. Why would the Radiants forsake their powers when it was most likely voidbinding that destroyed their old world, not surgbinding.

    A characteristic of Dustbringers is they are obedient but from what we have so far, it doesn't state to whom. She could be an obedient Radiant to the diagram.
