  1. Ummm. I accidentally hid my post, so here it is again. Well, I for one don't really agree with Bard's plan. Sure, I can see the benefits, but it almost never works out. I even tried it myself in LG20 (21? The AlethI war camps one). That one just succeeded because i was in possession of a shardblade, and so i couod guarantee that the secondary lynch was delivered upon. Secondly, if, the orange voted person decided not to give their breath, then what? You'd have decided the whole of the next cycle's discussion on the previous day turn. Which is quite similar to killing the lynch discussion. Thirdly, one point I do concurrent on is that faking loss of breath would be hard, for if you didn't really lose breath, the person who did could call you out. But, if the Returned attack one of their own, that could manage to lead the village astray. But, since this is an early cycle, and I'd like to see what happens, I'll probably vote on someone in orange later this cycle.
  2. But, she did lose her breath, Mage. I can see why she would support Bard's plan. EDIT: Yeah... ninja'd. What she said.
  3. Yeah, I sort of agree with bard, it wouldn't be co-ordinated effort yet, unless both of then were online at turn over (which I think meta wasn't. I'm not sure). But, that doesn't rule out you two (or one of you) being evil. It's just that it's as likely as anyone else being evil.
  4. Ha! Ecthelion is part of the returned! Get her! I'm joking. Don't kill her (yet), neither kill me. Nothing much to say except meta seemed a but suspicious, calling bard out for poke voting. Sure, it was a night turn, (and so, he's calling bard good, not evil) but still. I've never seen him say that before. Actually, I've never studied him talking before. But, this is my observation. I might be reading too much into it. Anyways, that's all for now.
  5. Ooh... I can't resist this one. I'll join in as Lamron. A seemingly normal person living a seeming normal life, doing seeming normal things. Each day he lives is seemingly normal. And, on another seemingly normal day, he suddenly got teleported to a seemingly normal competition, where death was the price. Ah... Lamron loved his seemingly normal existence. Just so you know, this is a seemingly normal post. @Daniyah, don't worry. I was an elim, my first game. Everyone was kind enough to let me live on till the end.
  6. Basically. One dies from the lynch (people vote for him/her) The eliminators kill the other. Well, it's slightly more complicated than that. But, for now, I guess this should suffice. Anytime.
  7. @Daniyah, sure, I don't mind being bombarded with questions. PM me if you want to ask me anything. Although, I do warn you I have a unusual timezone, so I might not respond instantly/predictably (time wise). Other than that, it's just good to see new victims players.
  8. Well, I mean you should try one once. If you do have any doubts, we'll totally eat you up (not really though. We'll first gladly answer them and then totally eat you up ) It's always fun to have newer players join, you see? And a big rules page shouldn't really bother you. None of the games are really 'complicated' once you get the basics of it. There's usually an eliminator (mafia) faction and a village faction. Various roles are distributed among both factions and basically, that's it. We just give everything fancy names. Either way, it's up to you, @Daniyah and @I_am_a_Stick. You're welcome any time. In fact, we have a game in the signup stage right now, if you're interested.
  9. So, the only way to 'generate' more breaths in the 'breath economy' is in the lottery, yes? Huh... never asked so many questions before. Hope you don't mind.
  10. Regardless of whether it's been a cycle since you gave away your breath? And, will the breath of a lynched person be distributed equally among the voters?
  11. Well, it doesn't really make a difference, because what I'm saying is that it wouldn't be that hard to pass your breath to someone and still live. You know what.. Nevermind. I got what I wanted. I don't want to confuse anyone further. Just... let this be. (Sorry to anyone if I caused you any confusion. I mean we already do have enough of that in the games, eh?)
  12. What I mean is this : let joe (a player in the game) start with 5 breath Say Joe decided to awaken a Strawman for 4 breaths on D1. Thus he has one breath left. Then, he passes all his breath to El on N1. At the same time, he puts in an order to retrieve his breath from his Strawman. (Note:both actions are used up) As, in the OoA, retrieving breath from objects comes after giving away your breath, joe would only give away 1 breath to El. Following which, he would gain back 4 breath from his object. ---------- Alternatively, he could just retrieve breath from his Strawman on D2. This tactic hinges on the fact that you still survive one cycle after becoming a Drab. Atleast that's what I interpreted from this:
  13. I'm saying it wouldn't be hard to avoid the drab death. But, you'd sacrifice both your moves for the turn. Well, I guess you'd do that in any case.
  14. But then, technically speaking, wouldn't it be that you can give away and retrieve breath in the same turn? Like if I gave my breath to Nyali N1, and the same night, I decide to retrieve my 4 breath from my Strawman. Then, wouldn't I be a breath holder who doesn't have to fear death by assassin?
  15. no harm in trying, eh? There are no other secret roles, yes? Does entering the lottery cost breaths? Or is it just risk-free? (Love the PAFO card. )
  16. So, potential returned is a side-role someone can have? And, it is basically a conversion role? If killed by the elims, that is. And, I assume it won't be announced in the thread that the player was killed. If I pass my breath voluntarily, can I never receive breath from anyone again? Or only for that turn? And, if never, then can I receive breath after winning some from the lottery? (Edit: oh wait... you'd die in one turn anyway....) If Aman is an Idrian returned and he decides to kill meta on N1. Then if Burnt decides to use an 8-breath Strawman to check on him N1, she will see it as a breath transfer and N2 as a kill, yes? (If she's checking on Aman, right?) If I make the 9 breath Rabbit thing, then do I get a kill every night on from then? Or is it just that night? And how many breaths does every person start with? And the returned?
  17. I'm back! And I'm front! (Thanks! @The Young Bard) Oooh! Joe, we're going to have so much fun this game, you and I, especially with all the puns in my head. Darb, signing up for the game. A grumpy guy crossing out of his youth. Grumpy especially because people misread his name and call him a Drab. Hopefully, the drab assassin won't do that? Will he? @The Only Joe
