  1. Ooh! It learnt my name... I'm not sure why, but I'm feeling childishly giddy now...
  2. Well, I know I didn't... Although it seems that the elims have lost interest in killing anyone. Does anyone know who was roleblocked or protected? It seems this cycle was over before it even started... Or so the countdown says... Heh
  3. Lady of Chaos Yes, a PM would be much appreciated. In a game with just 7 players remaining, even one lurker poses a threat to the village, IMO. So, I'm sorry, but I did interpret you as lurking. If you aren't, then I'd like to talk to you; get a feel for what role/alignment you might be and your general playstyle. So, yes. PM me next cycle then, if you can. Note that I'm going to sleep now. So I CANNOT take part in further Lynch discussion. My suspicion in stick has lessened as I thought more about it, and I feel I overreacted to his post. So, yeah... No one to vote for... Again.... Well, goodnight guys!
  4. Sheep: His posts feel like they are genuinely trying to help the village. Gives off a very strong Villager read to me. I don't think this is disputed by anyone else either. Stick: Neutral - Evil read. Has been posting Neutral things up until This cycle. Claiming that yellow drafters are necessarily good is IMO suspicious. No role is hard cleared. That might just be an eliminator tactic to send something akin to subliminal messages that Yellow drafter=villager. I might be reading too much into this, but that is the way I see it. Ecthelion: Neutral read. I keep swinging between him being evil and good. His vanilla reveal makes me think he was a villager trying to hide an important role.. which would be a very eliminator thing to do.. yet it could also be a vanilla trying not to die too early on... On the other hand, his vote on darkness (atleast that's what I infer from Elenion's post. I can't really find where Ecth voted for darkness) makes me read him as villager. so, I'm not too sure, and I'd wait a little before judging him. Dani: Daniyah has been talking to me over PM and has mostly convinced me that she is good. Although this is a gut read, her frankness and prompt responses make me think she is a villager. Len: Initially gave off an eliminator gut read. But, I guess actions speak louder than words. Lynching two elims is too much to sacrifice even for an eliminator. So, yeah. Strong village read now. Lady of Chaos: Remained silent so far. She does seem to give a response when she's called out, but mostly observes the thread. Feels Elim to me. Like she spends more time talking in a ddoc, and that is what absorbs her time, rather than posting in the thread. I might be wrong, but she is my best guess for an Elim. (On a side note, yeah, I too was an elim in my first game, and people gave me the benefit of doubt even after calling me out. Ask Aman. And Stink. I'm not saying this is definitive proof of her guilt. I'm just saying it's no reason to let someone off the hook.) I might switch over to Stick if I become unsure of Chaos. Elenion, I understand why you find me suspicious. I myself am not really convinced of my reasons. But, IMO, it's better than nothing to vote on the person you find most suspicious. Sheep is right in that all the lynch discussion seems to happen after I am gone to bed. Which leaves me little room for changing my vote based on what's being discussed on that day. instead, I must focus on the previous day's discussion only. That proves to be a hindrance when one is trying to vote for elims based on village discussion. Anyways, that's all for now. Thanks, @AliasSheep Phew... This post almost got deleted....
  5. Why would El seem suspicious? ... Oh wait that's not elbereth, it's elenion... Oops.. I confess.. I have no idea who is suspicious right now... Sheep's arguements all hold water, while my accusations against elenion were just me grasping at straws... daniyah seems cleared to me based on our PM conversations. And I was really beginning to trust mage as well, but then he had to go and get killed. Stick, so far, I have had little to judge. My limited online time is a hindrance when it comes to gathering readsoin people.. Others are at a similar stage too, where I don't have too much to read them on.. Sheep, you say he (magestar) had protection? Are you sure? Because that would mean there was no elim kill this cycle. Which means it was blocked. Which means if someone roleblocked someone else last turn then the role blocked person would be evil, most likely. That, or they are inactive.... Either way, I have no idea whom to vote for right now... And I don't wake up until after turnover... So, yeah.. Just putting my thoughts out there..
  6. No problem. Turn over? Edit:nevermind
  7. Hmmm, I'll be voting dowanx I'd rather we get something done besides staying in stasis for the next cycle too... Oh and sheep. Yes, that had been a vote, but never mind now..
  8. Elenion His voting for bard seemed like him bussing a teammate. Later, when asked, he doesn't clarify why he voted for bard, except for his original reason -' If bard is an eliminator, then he'll have vote manip.' Almost like saying Everyone here could be an eliminator and could have access to vote manipulations. Secondly, and I agree with Sheep on this one - how did you even know that the elims had vote manip. Sure, it's reasonable to assume they might have one drafter, but it's equally likely, isn't it, to assume that the village has one too (although now, it seems evident to me that they don't really have an orange drafter, given that they could have saved Bard from the Lynch if they did.
  9. Most likely it was just one of the voters selected randomly. And it stinks of GM mistake... Pun intended? Edit: I'll most likely make a better post by either the end of 15 minutes or in another 4 hours. Sorry for my non-contribution... I really shouldn't try to play an LG and a QF at the same time. The ralexed timing in one makes me badly judge the other's.
  10. I know I've been relatively quite on thread. Sorry about that.. I agree with aman and bard's vote on sheep. This is because of previously stated reasons - If bugsy is indeed the last GoH, that is game over there. So, yeah, I think it's worth checking out otheoptions. Joe is undeniably crafty. He couldn't have just abandoned the GoH when there was still one member remaining. Aman's keen eye spotted sheep and I'm swayed by his argument. It does seem Prudential, what sheep did I mean, in the face of this situation... So, well, yeah I know I'm quoting previously stated reasons, but that is all I have.
  11. In the above post, the tone and continuity might be a bit off, owing to my sleepiness right now...
  12. Hi there! My name is Mark. I vote for Alv because his reasoning seems a bit off to me. This is the first cycle. Not the third or fourth. I find it would be fair to vote on someone inactive beyond the third or second cycle. But the first one itself? In a QF? That's too early, IMO. Secondly, and this has been mentioned before, but notwithstanding that, I also thought about it myself - Lynching inactives C1 detracts the Lynch discussion from giving very helpful outputs (unless the inactive person is an eliminator which I find to be very unlikely). If the elims fail to make a kill for some consecutive cycles, then we could start killing inactives. Or something like that.
  13. In that case, mission accomplished.
  14. I should probably try that sometime, because discussing it with my crush (who also happened to be my good friend) sort of freaked him out. So, yeah, talking to the person isn't always an option. (And this happened twice with two different people.) But yeah, I think I up already have experienced this on some level. Delightful, do you refer to observing the thought coldly from a distance or just seeing how you behave and studying that, or something else? Because watch it from a distance has a few different interpretaions for me.
  15. It wouldn't. CoA have to kill ALL of GoH. So, we'd still have at least his champion, if not other members. And, looking at the size of CoA, I'd wager about 3 of them, if not 4.
  16. Nope, I wasn't attacked. Clanky, what do you want me to say, really? I didn't poison you, and I don't really have a goal to do so. So... Yeah... That..
  17. I doubt revealing who's on each planet would actually make things easier for any one faction. Instead, I feel 1) If Joe is good, he's simply suggesting a way to get more information out 2) if Joe is bad, it might have been him suggesting ideas to appear good instead. 3) or maybe the GoH faction might have a specific target to kill, but I doubt this would have been the sole reason as thyed have multiple people in the game, so most planets would be covered if they spread out evenly. I'm still not against the idea, but I don't think anyone's really going to come out with a full list of people on their planet. I know I could start, but it isn't really encouraging when almost no one else is advocating the idea.
  18. I'll be joining up as Mark, if you don't mind (of course you don't :P) Thankfully, I have read the source material, but it's been a long time. And advice to that my bad memory means I've forgotten most of the books (like paryl drafters). Time for a reread, I guess.
  19. Frankly, wouldn't that be a good idea if everyone revealed who was on their own planet? That way, we could potentially track movements, right? I haven't thought this idea over too much, as I'm doing very suspicious mathematics right now, but I currently am a proponent of this plan.
  20. Here, devil's advocate would mean something akin to errorgance right? Emphasising your point more in order to drive discussion?
  21. @The Only Joe None taken. I was most definitely thoroughly defeated.
  22. I can't really reply to either of those points you raise as they are your opinions of things. And my opinions differ form yours. Anything else you'd like me to answer?
  23. Really? Was it only the AG? Hmmm. I'd thought there was one more game.... Never mind then. Also, so far, I fail to see how phishing for info would make an person look suspicious though. Sure, it is generally what elims do, but it could also be what a villager looking for info is doing. Again, stink, you assume I'm good at manipulation with your "you'd have asked a better question" post. Well, speak for yourself. I'm only asking the questions which I think are right. Not the questions which you think are. If you want to ask better questions, go ahead. But don't assume I'm as good at it as you are.
  24. I have looked at the people in the world PM. I'm just not sure about one of them. If think is read their name in earlier games. But I'm not too sure.
  25. Oh yeah. Go ahead and assume I'm using subtle tricks to downplay your side of the argument. Let me rephrase my statement - it just happens that my playstyle gets your attention regardless of my alignment. I'm not saying you do it on purpose, but I'm saying it wasn't surprising. It's usually either you or meta. So, I don't put in any afterthought even if I get one? Why does everything have to be manipulation? I'm not that good at manipulations, stink (Case in point) that I would constantly try to manipulate people. Sure, I'll try once or maybe twice but not always, everywhere. All I asked in the world PM was if anybody was interested in goal swapping. Is that really suspicious? I'd be just as vulnerable as the other person swapping. That aside, do you honestly believe anyone would have goalclaimed? Your "lol mark. Who would fall for that?" Was you calling me out. Then, after me explain my intentions, you very next statement was "there might have been newbies who'd have fallen." But there was no newbie on our world. Atleast I think there wasn't. And, I classify gathering intent as phishing. If that's not in your definition of phishing, then I suggest we leave this point alone cause I don't think arguments over subjective definitions can have a clean ending.
