I haven't read over the whole thread yet, (I'm still on page 3), but I'd like to take my vote off of Aman. Your response has .... sort of... satisfied me. Atleast I don't feel it's a lynch worthy reason. Will post more once I read through the thread. EDIT: Read through the thread! Rather than everyone putting up their 'scan results', L could post his results via proxy, couldn't he? I'm sure someone has said this. I'm just wondering why it's a bad idea. And why was joe's plan risky for anything apart from fake claims? L is scanning him before contacting, right? And so, he can't be either murderer or Ryuk or death note holder, right? So, the only problem we'd have would be fake claims from the eliminators as either police, murderers or L. That's all for now.

Hey everyone! Sorry for my absence in these 24 hours on this thread. Life has been a bit busy. I know I said I was going to sleep on the other thread, but then I remembered to post on this thread once. That said, Aman. Your declaration of a new playstyle seems to me to be an excuse for a change in your playstyle. That's a very nice reason to make people discredit their guts by saying - "obviously, this is not his normal playstyle, so my gut is jus paranoid right now. " I know this vote doesn't have much behind it, but it's something I thought I'd point out, and so I decided to make my point via a vote. Zzzzzzz...

Emphasis mineI disagree with this reasoning (well, yes, partly because I'm not bad, but the other part is as follows) : *time jump back to when duel was declared* So, DC has just declared a duel, and I realise that we have stopped lynch discussion as a whole, and have been discussing only the duel (or rather even come to a consensus about it). To counter this stagnation of discussion, I try to start up a secondary lynch and hope in the Grandbow and Shardblade users who have helped us N1-3. In my effort, I name my current suspicion as a target - Trelagist to get up discussion (how would it look if I advocate a secondary lynch, but don't use it myself?) Then multiple people, apart from me vote for Trelagist. I have no sway or control over their decisions or suspicions unless I was actually with them on the evil side.( Which I am not, btw ) Next day, I'm banking on atleast one shard bearer killing Trelagist because of the orange votes. If I or my supposed eliminator team had a Shardblade or Grandbow, then I'd have done it quietly, no? So, I'm banking on a vigilante killing Trelagist. Overall, this isn't a very good strategy to kill a specific person, is it? And, why would the GBs want Trelagist dead? That's all for now. Going to bed.... sleep..... sleep good.....

Twei, was there a specific reason to my actions being redirected to DC? Or was that just random? And why DC? Or was that random too? Lopen (or Loopen ) might have passed the soul caster after the Ghostbloods killed Elodin in an attempt to frame him. That way, an cries of Lopen being passed the soul caster would seem insubstantial. But this possibility, to me, seems more and more unlikely by the minute. Either way, I would like to place my bets on Lopen being evil. I know I look like I'm following other people blindly but unfortunately, I have no better leads at the moment.

I'm assuming here that both DC and Wilson are good. I'm also assuming DC was attacked. Then, I'm looking at reasons why DC might have been attacked. The first one says that DC had been trying to instigate the Ghostbloods to attack by claiming to have important items in his possession. This implies that he had been planning since the start of the game to make the Ghostbloods waste an attack on him. Then, I say that if the Ghostbloods had this goal in mind, then they'd try to make sure that they got atleast most of his items. So, they'd try to not let DC die in the duel. The second part deals with the possibility of DC not being attacked for his items, but for some other reason that he was dangerous to the Ghostbloods. In that case, they'd try to get rid of DC ASAP. So, they'd try to get him lynched, and when his plate was weakened, they'd kill him with the GB kill. That's all I was saying.

Seeing as we have probably two vigilantes willing to help us, do we still want to use the orange votes or are the red ones enough? @Seonid DC being attacked would have been quite a bit of planning. I believe the prime reason for attacking him would have been the IKYK at the start of this game where DC kept heiring people. And, if it was carefully planned since then, then I must say, DC has planned carefully. In this case, they'd have liked to keep the loot to themselves by not letting DC die. So, here, I'd look at all the people who voted Wilson D4. Otherwise, why would the Ghostbloods try to solve us of this confusion by killing one of the dissenters of the duel unless they wanted him dead immediately. So, if this is the case, I'd look at the people who voted for DC last day. They wanted DC dead... (I know it includes me, but I thought this might be worth mentioning. ) I know I'm asking us to look at all the people who voted in the duel D4, but that is my reading from this. ----------(5 minutes later)------------ Come to think of it, Seonid, you might be right. Why not take out a plate holder ASAP? It's like killing two birds with one stone.

In that case, why waste a hit on your plate? Why make it public that both of you even have a plate? Probably to stop something from happening due to the lynch - saving Trelagist. Which would mean Trelagist is also evil. But, Wilson voted for Trelagist twice - once in red (before the duel) and once in orange. Which would indicate she wants him dead. Hence contradicting that she wants him alive. Hence our assumption is wrong. Hence this case becomes impossible.

Twei, another way to look at this is... actually, I think I'll make a scenario list. 1) Ghostbloods have another artifabrian | Trelagist is evil In this case, there is a possibility that trek himself is the artifabrian. And if he doesn't in fact die, it would, mean he is most likely ghostblood. 2) Ghostbloods have a second artifabrian | Trelagist is not evil Refer to case 4 3) No second artifabrian | Trelagist is evil Long story short, he'll die unless they have a half shard or some other shield not from an artifabrian. 4) No artifabrian | Trelagist is not evil He'll die. It'll act like a lynch. In fact, it would act exactly like a lynch where we decided to kill Trelagist. Either way, this all hinges on whether we in fact have a vigilante willing to work with us. On further thought, I feel this isn't quite probable. But, atleast we got some discussion out of that. EDIT: Everyone, I think I found a other artifabrian! Look at Stink's Rep! Note: This is a joke. Do NOT take this seriously.

I'd say a cautious wielder, given that there were 28 players to start with. But, that's a guess. Maill's role/item distribution is not something I've had a lot of experience with, and if people are to be believed, Maill is a troll when it comes to such things, we might as well have just one blade in this whole game. That said, I really hope we have a shard blade wielder, and so, I'm leaning more towards that. I'd like to say one thing though - I suggest people don't vote I orange during the night as our potential shard wielder might be asleep at turnover (looking at you Brits). I'd like an answer to that as well. Very valid point raised by Trelagist.

You missed me in that list... Either way, I ask some sharbearer/Grandbow wielder to kill Trelagist, seeing as he was the most voted (only, actually) person in the orange votes.

IMO, you did follow suit. Albeit with little confidence, but you did.*claps* As I said, regardless of whether the intended target is killed, we'd still have discussion. And, out of about 4 kill roles, and potentially probably more, you're telling me not one will have no other plans? But, I've done what I can. I encourage other to follow. Don't see whether someone else has voted in orange. It'll happen one by one. Don't check to see whether everyone is actually following the orange voting. Speak your part, and I'll guarantee people will follow. But first, you must speak. Wow. I feel like an orator here. Either way, the decision is now completely yours. Whether you want a potential lynch or you want to be stuck killing one two villagers. Edited for clarity.

~LopenEmphasis mine Found this while re-reading the thread. I guess this is why no one really uses the vigilante kill as a lynch. But, I must say, this situation is different. We aren't using the vigilante kill as a secondary lynch just cause we want to. Regardless of whether the vigilante kills the intended target or not, we will still have lynch discussion that was stopped by the DC/Wilson duel. This lynch discussion, and I dare you to correct me, is very important any turn of the game, and twice on the first day. So, I again ask anyone online to publicly express your suspicions and vote. Edited for emphasis.

We could probably use Japanese. I don't know Japanese, but they've got compact characters in kanji. I know it wouldn't be right to write a whole sentence in kanji, but it's an idea. Trelagist for reasons stated above. Your attempt to kill Wilson is quite suspicious to me atleast and Seonid too, if I'm not wrong. Anyways, I know these are not my original thoughts, but I encourage people to use this secondary lynch. EDIT: for anyone interested, the hex code for orange I've used here is ff9944

Well, we could hold a secondary vote in orange for a shard bearer to kill tonight. Sure, the kill will take place a turn late, but we don't have to solely focus on this DC /Wilson issue. EDIT: DC, I hope there's no hard feelings. Your death would confirm a few things for me. I'd rather not reveal them right now though.

More like forcing the village to do something bad. Choosing between killing a villager and a villager and no one is bad as it is, but forcing us to kill atleast one of them? That's definitely worse. But, what's done is done. No use lamenting over it. So, let me get this straight - all you're saying is that Wilson is evil based on your conversation with her. Wilson says she wants nothing to do with you as you seem super-aggressive. You start duel to force the issue and get her lynched hopefully. Is that it or am I missing something?

Though I'm not very suspicious of Wilson, I think this needs no reminding. Wilson admittedly gets good at manipulation from the eliminators' side. So, her village front in PMs might be an act. I'm not sure though. I mean she could just be a villager (look at me, calling people rural for no good reason ). Seeing as I haven't played a game with her before, I have no ruling on this. I just thought I'd point this out and get you peoples' opinions. I'm sure someone else has thought of this before me. And before I forget, Seonid, sorry for that vote on you. I'd forgotten you had already said you wouldn't be able to be active untiL cycle 4... Burnt, if we wanted to kill Wilson, we could just ask one shard bearer to attack her while simultaneously asking the GBs to attack her too. If she's good, they'll probably want to kill her. Now, I know that above sentence sounded suspicious, but it was just a thought. Don't kill me for it. Although you really can't this turn. EDIT: Maill, does the death cry have to be in English? I know a language that might be a bit more compact. Probably more compact. I'm not sure. Or would that be cheating?

Mitai will be a part of these events that history will remember. (I don't know any japanese names, so those who actually know japanese, please excuse that). Either way, another game GMed by Alv will definitely be fun to play. I can't say I didn't have any fun last time. A few questions though- do the murderers get a doc? Do they know they're murderers? (I would guess yes, cause I'm guessing you would know if you've killed someone) Are there secret rules? Does anyone die? O.o

Wow... this has been an err... unusual day. I think I'd agree with Lopen. Regardless of who loses this duel, the winner still has to face certain death from the Ghostbloods. Either way, bad idea. DC, I just hope this isn't personal. Your emoticons in the previous post make me believe it isn't, but I'd like some conformation. And why is it that you place players in such a dilemma? Now whom do I vote for? I'd believed Wilson to be suspicious because her posts had seemed manipulative. Upon closer inspection, that didn't seem the case. Her feud with DC felt heavy with emotional appeal, but when I asked (confronted?) Her with it, she told me she didn't use emotional appeal as a tool. DC, I'll admit I haven't assessed as much. But, I get a village reading on him too. His aggression with Wilson had brought a lot of attention to him. But then after it'd died down, he brought it up again. Not an eliminator move, IMO. If suspicion on you has died down, then why bring it up again? Will lynching Wilson here kill her? And DC, you'vegot a shard blade? Maill, do the normal lynch rules still apply here? EDIT: ~Burnt Why assume if one is good, the other is evil? This has stemmed from friction between playstyle, if I'm not mistaken, and not from conclusive proof of someone's alignment. That'd be a good eliminator move - "lynch this person. If they're good, lynch the other one." In the end, we'll find both of them good, and will have lost two good players. Either way, I'm willing to give you the benefit of doubt. But, I thought I'd bring this up.
