    First day of the trek. Reached the foothills. Base camp set up. Michek observed the mass of pack men around him as he made his way to the dias. How could any of them be traitors? They all look so eager He thought to himself. Finally, he reached the footstool at the edge of the room. Clearing his throat, Mishek spoke "Welcome fellow travelers! Nice to have you on this trek." The crowd fell silent. Everyone looked at him. A few stared at his face, a few at his feet, and others at the markings on his arms. "And you are?" Asked a voice in the crowd. "I am Mishek, loyal companion to Alendi. So, before we set off further, I'd like to set a few ground rules. No one shall come in close contact with Alendi. All contact shall be made through me. Secondly, no insulting, fighting or stealing will be allowed. All people caught breaking this rule will be left behind. Your payment shall be handed over to you once this quest is completed." Sighing, Mishek looked around the cabin once. "Any questions?" The gathering fulminantly burst into chaos. People shouting out their opinions, getting louder by the second to make sure they were heard. "QUIET!" Mishek screamed throatily. The resultant silence was unmatched by any Mishek had ever seen. "On second thought, any questions shall be entertained privately." Turning to step of the footstool, Mishek remembered one last point. "Oh! And those of you who wish to stop us may leave right now. Once we really start this journey, you will not be spared. This is your last chance to turn back." With that Michek stepped off of the pedestal. A chill ran down his spine at what he guessed were hostile stares from traitors. Turning behind, he saw no one looking at him. I'll just have to be extra careful now. ----------- So, any ideas to clear people, anyone? PM me if you want to. I can keep your secrets.

    The sheer volume of tags in the original thread is astounding.... O.o Either way, we got stink. Now whom do we get? Did anyone receive the hazecrusher from stink?

    Why is it that I always find stink making me look evil? @Stink And, your point is? Mark is now evil because his RL is a bit busy? I have sorta been active in PMs, just not with you. My declaration of absence has nothing to do with your lynching. @Burnt Hmmm. Good point. No real ideas right now though. I guess I'll say something if I can think of something.

    Hey guys! Just came on to say Hi! I've been busy these past few days, and so haven't posted much in the thread. The busyness will continue for a few more days. So, I still may not post much except for direct posts about me or PMs to me. About the stink being evil, I currently have no opinions. Perhaps later in these remaining 23 hours, I'll say something. Hmmm. So, who haze the hazecrusher?! I wouldn't put it past a villager to kill 3 random people. Araris did the same thing LG16, remember?

    Loved the writeup! Say, do all your games have such complex and hidden rules? By complex, I mean fun, of course. So, Yosef caused Aman to turn to anarchy? What if we'd never arrested Yosef? Would Aman still have turned into a party of his own? Moral of the game: Never arrest the GM or his/her RP character in game. It leads to a vengeful RP character causing a tie between everybody.

    Me! I'll be signing up as Michek. So, the loyal companions (non-terris) can PM other Terris people? Or do they get no PMs? How many actions per turn can we take? One? So, there's no feruchemical lynch protection? If I get separated in a landslide, I can't be lynched, right? Or can I?

    I've really enjoyed your game joe. Especially the hidden mechanics. Though I do not know how I could've figured out that Ada was a third party, I can now definitely see that there were signs here and there. Articulating my pleasure, I must say, your writeups were FANTASTIC! No, really. Especially the one where Lopen got arrested. So, when do you plan to make your next game? On a side note, I'm happy to say, I've realised something due to the SE spartan ideology. Though not exactly in their words, I must say, acting quickly at the start helps a lot in the end. If I'd have done something a bit earlier, we might’ve stood a better chance. (Now don't hold me word to word on this. It's just something I've realised.) Say, Joe, what if Ada had killed me this last turn. Mind doing that writeup? If it's not too much, of course.

    Well, I've just asked joe a couple (actually, a lot)of questions. The last one went like (this is paraphrased) - So, what could be the possible scenarios where we aren't winning even though stink, me and bugsy are good? (I'm exploring all options) His answer was along the lines of - think a little more logically. Then, you'll see. And, I also confirmed that I haven't turned corrupt by some twist of fate. And, I've also asked him whether all the hidden mechanics have come into play. He said that yes. They have. But, he said they've been discovered, but by whom, he didn't state. Aman, are there any hidden mechanics that we don't know about? I'm leaning more towards none of us being corrupt. So, there might be something we have yet to achieve. EDIT: Question for GM. Is the hint in the original writeup correct? I'm referring to there being only two corrupt senators - patience (lopen) and scared (orlok). Or is that too direct?

    1) Orlok changed his vote from Lopen to me at the last minute. Presumably, that was done to cause a tie between players. You know who bribed everyone to vote for Lopen? Me. (Although I don't know who else bribed everyone) 2) I was part of the reason Orlok died. Come to think of it, so were you. If any of us had changed our votes last minute, there'd have been a tie, or, in the worst case, Orlok would have survived. I know everyone has gotten atleast one bag of boxings. Those were from me. Aman, I ask you to use that drug wisely. I'm sorry if I inconvenienced you last turn. But, check my first post T10 for white text. I now have given you the power to decide this game. But, something seems fishy. Either both stink and bugsy are evil, and they're playacting for no reason, or there's something/one that's a hidden mechanic. If you're gonna lynch me, so be it. But, then make sure you win. Because, if you're innocent, then your win means my win.

    You know what? I think I agree with what Araris is saying. If I want a PM, I'll get myself one. But, not right now. The QF is hectic enough. @Arraenae - yes, the QF is very time consuming right now. It's come down to the wire, with the win hanging in balance. Give it a visit. I'll guarantee you a thriller. Sure. I'll vote for Yafeshan (No hard feelings, right?) Either way, we clear one or more people. Seems fine enough to me. (And, if he really is evil, we'd be down to our last spiked.) (This post might be sounding aggressive. It is meant to be. No offense intended to the respective parties. Of course, if it doesn't sound aggressive, ignore these parentheses and everything in them )

    RP aside, I now say that either Orlok and Kyne are evil, or Orlok, Stink and bugsy. I'm leaning more toward the former pair, as the latter seems to be too convoluted a plot. P.S. double post is intentional.

    Every man's actions are justified in their own eyes. A thought I've learned long ago. And, so, the spirit of a democracy is what keeps ech and every person's power in check. What you propose - a dictatorship - is only ideal in your eyes. What do you plan to do for the roughs, eh? For the millions of impoverished living in the Elendel slums? Who's to keep in check your power, eh? Who's to make sure you've not gone corrupt, or selfish? You're motives may seem well and good, but, you, in the end, are also a human. You, in the end, are also affected by vice. And, would it not be considered ignoble to listen in on a man's private monologue with himself. When he is considering the faults in another's speech, and promptly also warning them about errors of the past? Where did you acquire the notion of calling people in this Senate insane? I accept. I made a mistake. The conclusion laid down by me about the government being responsible for every death is wrong. But, one point I wish to raise is that isn't it hypocritical to call others corrupt? In this Senate, I see only 3 people as having being corrupt, and one of them, rightly apprehended. Isn't it hypocritical to achieve governance and, in effect, dictatorship, by murder? Each life is still equal before the law. So is the loss of life. Wouldn't it be hypocritical to quell riots by violence and say that that is was what was best for the people? I would have very much liked to see how your reign would have spiralled into the void, but, I must not allow it. That is my duty to the people. Two last questions- when and by which standards have I referred to the 'old guards'? And who are my associates? My words are my own. I wish to conclude this argument. Each side wishes to change the other's belief. I can tell you, that is not happening. (Just to confirm, this is still impersonal, right?) EDIT: Edited to correct a few points.

    Yup! This is the monster raving looney party! And, Governer Cicero, I propose we each convince as many as we can to our side, and have a consensus as to whom people want to follow, eh? (@Orlok, I'm pretty sure that is RP, and so, I'd prefer to be called by my in game name - Miotes Il admit, I was thinking about calling Cicero insane because he was referring to a non-existent entity named Mark, but then I saw ways around that. Disclaimer: anything in this bracket does not count towards RP.)
