I can relate to this - I just found out the are not as many Steven Universe episodes out as I though; I will soon catch up... What do you do when you are caught up? You have to find another thing to do... At least I still am not up to date with cosmere. That will change in January, though.

I'm binge watching it right now. It keeps getting better.

It likes riddles, praps it does, does it?
Oversleep replied to Assassin in Burgundy's topic in General Discussion
It's a tough one since I don't remember Adam's and Eve genealogy. The answer is that that man is a descendant of Adam and Eve; the situation is that they are the only couple in Heaven so far - no other couple but them has died yet. I know that the first human to die was Abel; I don't know when Adam and Eve died and who followed.- 168 replies

Every Shardblade was once alive, Adolin's is no exception.

It's egg. I don't have any riddle right now, so if anyone posts their own riddle before I do, it's fine.- 168 replies

Atium Feruchemy does not influence the length of the lifespan (unless Compounding). You could use the stored youth at 90. ... After some thought, it could increase the length of the life a little: If you spend some time in your youth being 90 years old, then at the end of your life, at the point you die of old age, you could use that youth to be a little younger and live a little longer.

Pulser, if you're shooting at the bubble, Slider if you're shooting out of the bubble. Of course, a reverse experiment should also be concluded, but it will require a lot more metal.
-
Try coppermind, but don't trust it too much. Especially when it comes to things coming from MAG (for example, there is a debate about Hemalurgy right now - some of us say coppermind has things wrong).
-
@Ari, there you go:
-
If you have initial trajectory (and you have it since you choose it), you know the point it will enter the bubble. If you know the point of entrance and the point it hit the floor, you know hpw ot was deflected. Then you just have to calculate the angle. It's simple.
-
@Dan r93, if I understand you correctly: you're asking whether a Compounder having Hemalurgic spike of the same metal gets any bonuses? The thing is, it's not about the fact that 'three metals line up'. It would matter if Hemalurgy had actual abilities in its system. But Hemalurgy does not have any powers on itself: it would be useless without people to steal from. Hemalurgy is all about stealing already existing abilites. So no, it won't grant any additional benefits.

They just need a few inches of steel and it's fine. Just put the Pulser/Slider into a safe.

Any time I am reminded of Black Death, I think of the Mourning King from Wolsung. EDIT: I went and read some of the Wolsung's history... and now I want to play it again. Sigh.

I wanted to do that instead of Titanic/LotR spoiler, but I figured people may be offended. But since you did it I can have my cake and eat it too

Feruchemical grouping in regard to Hemalurgy
Oversleep replied to Oversleep's question in Cosmere Q&A
Probably because its revelations are later changed in books (like nicrosil Feruchemy) and it has mistakes. Some I pointed: and some you quoted: Gold is healing and its a Physical power as it is stolen by pewter spike; electrum is determination, cadmium is breath, bendalloy is nutrition. None of these powers are 'temporal'. Feruchemy isn't even categorized the way Allomancy is, there is no 'temporal' quadrant! The only 'temporal' power we could say Feruchemy has is Feruchemical atium (and since it's a physical change, it's probably also physical). EDIT: Even Brandon admits it's noncannon: -
Okay, but did you know that (Empire Strikes Back spoiler)
-
Spoilers... for Harry Potter? That's like spoilering that Titanic sinks. Or that Boromir dies. It's not even considered a spoiler.

Is it even shipping if characters in question are in such... stable ... relationship? I'm not a shipper, but it's hard not to ship Stevonnie.

Is it possible to create a kandra or other hemalurgic construct with Breaths instead?
Oversleep replied to kaos's question in Cosmere Q&A
Hm. Breath isn't like Stormlight; it isn't just raw energy - after all, it produces life-like effects up to even granting sentience to inanimate objects. On the other hand, the "spikes worn by the kandra cause only a small transformation in their hosts—leaving their bodies mostly like that of a mistwraith, but allowing their minds to begin working". Since we know about the Cognitive-Physical blockage, I always imagined the spikes to puncture that blockage, much like perpendicularites puncture all Three Realms. I guess it's possible, but not easy. Probably requires a ton of knowledge. -
