Somehow my laptop configured and booted up - when I fired it up today it was at a different dialogue window (I'm pretty sure I left it at the one asking for Windows license key) and I could proceed without problems... and it works. Without Windows license key Did my technology-destroying aura actually broke something in a way that's favourable to me? It's really weird and I'm expecting something to crash down just because the situation is weird.

Just for reference: I remember Brandon talking about sales of books and how different "levels" of books sell and that books after a film was released get such a huge boost so it's almost the most selling category (I believe the first category is those unpredictable wonders striking like a bolt of lightning and devouring the market. Like Twilight).

I just got my new laptop delivered. Sadly, the shop forgot to include the Windows license key... it generates a few problems. First of all, I thought I'd have it delivered yesterday and that I could've set up everything I need. But the thing is, I have to get ready for class on Friday and I absolutely need a computer to do it. I thought I could prepare Thursday morning (my Thursday is free) before I leave for gym but I'm afraid that won't happen. And I can't NOT go to the gym cause it was my idea and I stand my friend up few times already. I'm afraid it means the night studying and that's something I'd rather avoid. Where is that rusting key?!

We know that the gem determines what kind of thing you can Soulcast. It's obviously true in Soulcaster fabrials but I have seen either in text or in WoBs things that suggest it's also the case with Radiant Soulcasting. The question is: why? Once the Stormlight is breathed in it's indistinguishable from Stormlight breathed in from another type of gem. And of course if a Radiant walks into a highstorm, they would be able to replenish their Stormlight directly from the storm itself. So there are no gems involved but the situation is not fundamentally different as it's the same Stormlight anyway. It's very confusing and I can't wrap my head around it. If somebody knows any qoutes or WoBs explaining this, please post. My searches have been unhelpful in that regard. EDIT: elevant WoB(s): (I swear I've seen more)
