  1. That list will be useful if I ever get myself to start cracking at AonDor hacking. Or start hacking at cracking. Programming anyway.
  2. See the edit to main post.
  3. I'm pretty sure Brandon said that's not the case. Either WoB or annotation. They still consume Breath a week even when suppresing their Divine Breath. Although they are not technically at the Fifth Heightening at the time since it doesn't manifest... hm...
  4. Returned and Feruchemical steel, Feruchemical pewter, Feruchemical gold. Since Divine Breath allows you to shapeshift, you can make yourself absurdly muscular and keep your muscle mass on the normal level by storing pewter. You can also make yourself faster (Denth was inhumanly fast) which you can also store in metalmind without any drawbacks. Now, storing gold is another thing as people of Fifth Heightening cannot get sick. We've been RAFO'd on people with Fifth Heightening storing atium.
  5. Does burned aluminum work in a flash, burning out itself superfast? That's the assumption I have been working with so far and I'm not sure it's right. We know it destroys other metals and duraluminum does burn out with other metals, so WRONG! Duraluminum does not burn out with other metals!: There's this WoB but it's paraphrased: Is it mentioned in the books?
  6. Would Leecher burning chromium be able to destroy Shades of Threnody with bare hands?
  7. Yeah, IIRC we discussed Shardshurikens some time ago.
  8. You mean that one?
  9. As I have been saying for over a year now: Why are we fixating on Shardgun or Shardbow? There is zero advantage in that. Now, Shardarrows and Shardbullets are entirely different thing... Of course we don't know how far living spren can go from their Radiant; but the summonable (instant reload!) soul-piercing arrows are scary. Of course, the gun cannot use cartridge type ammo - each time you'd want to shoot you'd have to supply powder.
  10. Truth be told, it feels a little weird browsing Shard without Twi's posts being here and there.
  11. The unkeyed goldmind taken off of Set. Wax remarks he has to flare steel to even see a faintest line pointing to it. Since we know that the more Invested something is the more resistant to Pushing it is, it's reasonable assumption.
  12. I meant they can't be Pushed at all - the metalminds filled to the hilt don't even register in metalsight. Those moderately filled are Pushable but they indeed do resist more. Wax has experience with Pushing on metalminds so he can probably assess by their reaction to given strength of the Push if they're Invested or not.
  13. Yeah, unclear wording. I meant that if anybody was to have Allomantic duralumin spike, it probably were those with emotional Allomancy.
  14. Only fully filled metalminds are fully resistant to Pushing. And Inquisitors usually probably had multiple Allomantic steel and Allomantic iron spikes; they are said to be stronger in those two than regular Allomancers.
  15. Right. I thought about pretending to assasinate someone instead of faking assassination attempts at yourself and couldn't make out what was that about. I think I covered Zuko being Tanavast in the meme thread... but tell me, is there a card for "but everything changed when Fjordell attacked"?
  16. That was after Ruin started to upgrade them. I'm talking TLR's Inquisitors, everything that was added later is of no interest to me, as Ruin was spiking left and right. Yeah, probably. But I think that's reasonable assumption that most of them did. Probably more had Feruchemical gold than Allomantic atium. I'm talking about average setup. Some probably had spikes for emotional Allomancy to be able to control koloss (IIRC TLR did use them that way?) but I think that's a specialized build. Probably those with Allomantic duralumin spikes had also a spike for emotional Allomancy to be able to take control of koloss faster.
  17. Mod Note: Split off at Oversleep's request from this thread. Recent discussion inspired me to make a thread about Inquisitor builds. So, what do we know about spikes of Inquisitors? Keep in mind we're talking about Final Empire Era Inquisitors, not rampaging Ruin Inquisitors. They are said to be stronger in Allomantic steel and Allomantic iron than regular Allomancers. I assume they have at least two spikes for each. They do not really need spikes for Allomantic gold and they are said to usually have between 9 and 11 spikes. Assuming they are Allomancers to begin with (and no reason to turn non-Allomancer into Inquisitor): Feruchemical gold (not all of them had that due to trouble with finding Feruchemists) Allomantic: pewter tin double bronze double steel double iron atium (not all of them had that though) That's 9 spikes (one power the Allomancer was born with). We have still two spikes to spare (if we're doing the upper limit of 11 spikes and assume they have Feruchemical gold and Allomantic atium). What else? The Inquisitor Kelsier fought had access to emotional Allomancy.
  18. Well, if they're asexual it means they lack sexual attraction or that their interest in sexual activity is low or non-existent. If I'm not mistaken, the "biological" asexuality you speak of refers to asexual reproduction which we know they do not do.
  19. Just because they're asexual doesn't mean they are physically incapable of reproduction. Asexual Herdazians of Horneaters are not infertile or anything.
  20. @hwiles, the thing is every form can reproduce.
  21. Wasn't there a thread just like that last week? I'll go look for it. ... It was your thread! Why are you making another thread for the same thing?
  22. Is your profile pic some kind of Aon? Because it looks like one.

      WeiryWriter

      It's a mock-up of a non-canon Aon Ian I came up with.

      Oversleep

Took me a while to identify how it's built but it's a very nice Aon! It only uses the basic shape of Aon Aon and that's something I love *shudders remembering Ashe, Daa or Dii*

Did you give it a meaning? *looks at handle* Perhaps "writing"?

I have actually spent an inordinate amount of time thinking about this... Here's what I came up with:

      Quote

Aon Ian has the meanings "Winter" and "Snow". Its effect in AonDor is that it acts as a heat sink, absorbing heat in the area surrounding it until reaching its resting temperature. Modifiers can be added to raise/lower the temperature it rests at as well as how quickly it absorbs the heat.

Aon Ian can also be used as a "branching" Aon that can be used in an Aon equation to define a sequence, or sequences, that will only be triggered if certain conditions are met. These conditions are usually temperature related, though it is possible to modify it for other stimuli if there is not a more applicable branching Aon to be used.

The default resting temperature also serves as the zero point for the Elantrian temperature scale.

  23. Those are the best: Although I'm not sure what "faked assassinations attempts" reference. The spook one caught me totally off guard, I have never though about that! But obviously the best is this one:
  24. Actually cats can Return 8 times. That's why philosophers argue that Endowment likes cats and why it is a sacred animal in many of Nalthian cultures.
  25. And now I'm gonna Name a moderator to close this thread: @Mestiv
