  1. Thank you. I really wouldn't be disappointed to end up with everyone expelled. Village wins if that happens so I will join the Karnage Karnage lynch. Many ninjas telling me Karnage is less likely to be lynched, but I'll keep my votes there for now.
  2. @Elbereth@little wilson, Can we have an official vote count? Here are my current reads. I'm borrowing your list so I can see who is still at the school. Araris - Slight Village - Got us moved on to fighting elims instead of each other. Elandera - Neutral - Really started being a part of the game over the last two cycles when my activity started to wane. I need to go back and reread her posts. GreenRover - Slight Elim - Hasn't been around a lot and has the money to cause problems. Karnage - Neutral - I'm not sure which side of the debate between him and Fura I am on. It could be that they are both village, but I don't think they are both elims. I wouldn't mind expelling them just in case. The Mighty Lopen - Neutral - As I understand it, the evidence against him is he didn't vote to lynch Bard or Hael? I haven't followed the suspicions on Lopen as well as I should have, so I am not suspicious.... yet. Devotary of Sponteneity -Slight Elim - Sadly he always feels slightly elim to me in every game we play... and I think he actually has been an eliminator in the other games we've played. So maybe he's an elim now? Experience - Slight Elim - Our track record for people who have become masters is not great. Unfortunately, it'll take a namer or an assasin to get rid of you now. Straw - Slight village - My gut says you're bad, but I can't reconcile that with how helpful you are trying to be to the village. You may have fooled me, but I'm taking that chance for now. Burnt Spaghetti - Neutral - I'm still wary of you postponing sharing your elevations with the village given the elims already had them. There was also a post from Hael that set me off a little. That said, I don't know why elim!Burnt would admit she had shared her elevations with an elim, so I'll upgrade you from slight elim to neutral. Furamirionind - Neutral - I don't know how to read Fura. It sounds like he has a playstyle very similar to mine which involves a lot of deception with a little chaos sprinkled in. Most of you who have played with him before sound like you see this is normal Fura, which doesn't help get a bead on alignment. Kynedath - Slightly elim - He's been just active enough not to die on the streets. I'm not sure I believe he will die on the streets, but I also don't want to have him be the lynch target for the next four lynches in a row to be sure he isn't a skindancer. I think a namer or assassin might be the best way to remove him from the school. Elkanah - Village - Hasn't been as active in the last couple cycles, but I accidentally saw his GM PM and he is definitely Village. Interesting question... is that a lie? I'm going to wait for an official vote tally to place a vote.
  3. Well played everyone. Good Job elims. I'll be sure to watch for @The Archivistin the future. Thanks for running it Straw!
  4. Solid question. I was basing my thoughts entirely off of Hael's early posts. In one of them it sounded like he was overemphasizing that she was evil in a previous game. With him flipping elim, it seemed like his overemphasis might have been him making sure we didn't misunderstand his post as saying she is this game. Of course that might have been his intention and she isn't a skindancer this game. It is interesting that Burnt didn't lie last turn and helps my trust of her a little bit.
  5. Hael's Posts 1.1 p2 1.2 p7 2.1 p10 2.2 p14 This is as far as I can get for now. Looking through the rest of that turn here are my thoughts: 2.1 He makes a post that makes me suspect Burnt 2.2 Straw votes for him for activity Lopen has a neutral read on Hael Hael votes for Araris From this I trust Straw and Araris a little more and Burnt a little less.
  6. Sorry Xino I will take responsibility for your insanity. I told him I knew a physicker that could help him. He was trying to construct a gram. I then forgot to change my action from cheat death to Counselling. As it turned out I still saved him from the doubletap, but I could not save him from both. I am not sure at this point if I should or should not just spill everything in the thread. It may not be hard to figure out what fields I have been elevated in anyway. As for the namer: Well Done! I would be happy to try to help keep you sane if you decide you can trust me. If you can not trust me, then just do not claim to me. I have a pretty bad track record so far. Sorry Xino. Hael coming up elim is interesting. I will post this for now and start working on my own list of his interactions to supplement Elandera's work. After that, I will provide read lists for everyone still attending University. I have got to make the most of having the day off.
  7. @Matrim's_Dice and @Shard of Reading This right here is the link I promised you. Sorry it's later than I had hoped to send it to you. This post explains what I meant by long game and Quick fix. The whole Rules and Etiquette thread is worth reading, but this will at least get you started and give you an idea for how long until the next game is up.
  8. Welcome to Sanderson Elimination! We typically have two games running at a time. Right now we are in the middle of a quick fix and a long game. I'll edit in a link here to explain what those mean as soon as I get home from work. The long game will probably take two or three more weeks before it is finished and we put up signups for the next one. The quick fix has about six days left. We'll post sign ups for the next game a day or two after that game ends. I'd be happy to message both of you and anyone else interested in the community as soon as the next game is posted. Edit: Ninja'd by Straw with better information
  9. Literally the last three days for me. I'm hoping the weekend is better. I really appreciate all the in depth analysis everyone has done and I will commit to making a post giving reads next turn. For now, I'm pretty out of school for next term because I haven't role played and I don't have time today to fix that. My gut is telling me Straw is bad, but I won't vote on that because I am giving no evidence and it would just dilute the votes. I wouldn't be too surprised if Kynedath died on the streets, so I'm not sure it is worth lynching him. I might be able to jump on a train later, but if not I'll be full back next month.
  10. You did, but I'll forgive you this time
  11. Lord can stand by me in saying I'm not salty I take salt like a pro.
  12. I am absolutely village, but I don't blame you for lynching me... Okay maybe a little. Megasif and Karnage are the most suspicious to me. Both because of their voting patterns. I wasn't especially suspicious of Megasif until his vote against mist which iirc came right after mine, but with no reasoning. I'm afraid you won't get any information from lynching me. When I show up as village, what will you learn? I find TGK's vote suspicious as well, but only for meta reasons. He likes to lynch me when he's bad. (But who doesn't). He might be worth looking back into.
  13. Hahaha. Fair enough. (Maybe I can pocket you too?) No, I was just agreeing that I deserved to be suspected for my inactivity and made a poor excuse for my activity. I really did expect to see more pushback from lynching Mist. It was almost like the elims wanted us to Lynch her so they wouldn't have to kill her. Unfortunately, I posted so late that we didn't have enough time to change the vote. I wonder what I can say that is an indicator. What was wrong with my post voting on Mist? I'm also willing to vote for kidpen
  14. Oh... I could have sworn CadCom had another vote as well... I apologize for the tie everyone. It was not my intention.
  15. Well that certainly explains that... Coda Coda. I guess I'm back to Zillah Zillah for now. I think everyone else has posted except @Kynedath. I wish I had more to contribute here, but I don't so I'll stop talking.
  16. That is a fair point. For all the discussion this game we have shockingly little that is an indicator. The problem I have at present is my reasoning for Voting on Zillah is equally useful against Experience, Silberfarben and myself. I am leaving Xino out because we have generally agreed he is village... Which bears looking into. Of the four, Zillah has the least information, so I am fairly certain I would be voting on her this cycle regardless. Adding that the lynch might actually produce some results does not make me want to change my vote. What would be much better is if we could get the other fifteen of us to vote. I guess to that end ZIllah Zillah Coda Coda. Where did you go? You were doing so well a couple Cycles ago. Then I and everyone else went inactive. Please come back.
  17. I am duly warned Thank you Archivist I'm most suspicious of Karnage and Megasif at this point. I suppose I will put a vote on Karnage for now. I will make sure to remove it to keep my promise about ties if it becomes relevant. Edit I am also not suspicious to me
  18. I do not mind at all. I am glad you found it pleasing. I was disappointed all the colors did not copy over. My spreadsheet is a veritable rainbow as everyone has a color assigned to them to make matching who could have been elevated in the same field easier to see at a glance. I too have some more information that I did not share about people's specific fields, but that is because I do not think they would be okay with that information coming to light. Rath is one of those that should probably be orange in the graph above given he has two level one elevations, but if I make the same assumption for him that I have for everyone else, he fits so well with either Haelbard or Walin. So yeah, that is willfully incorrect. I will have to look back, but I think it was Burnt Spaghetti who also has said she has elevations in different fields between 2.1 and 2.2. I am separate for the same reason that Rathmaskal is not. If you assume that I could only go into one field, it is impossible for me to be a part of the puzzle. If you make the assumption for everyone except for me (which I think is your recommendation here) I could have my first elevation in the same field as Haelbard, Xino or Lopen. My second could be in the same field as Straw, Lord, Shard or Bard. My third could be in the same field as Haelbard, Xino, Araris, Shard, Walin or Bard. Hmm more interesting things. From this it looks like I am probably in the same fields as Haelbard and Xino and Bard, except that given my assumption that everyone else has to stay in the same field, Straw has to be paired with Xino or Haelbard at both of the times I have coincidence with them. So in order for the program to not break I can only be in the same field as either Hael or Xino. Drat. Bad dobby! I will do real analysis. @little wilson, why did you have to make the less important part of the game so fun to analize? ,
  19. I will vote Archivist for now. Mostly to get you playing again. I realize there is not much to analyze, but talking is the only way to get there. I don't find Cadcom suspicious, less suspicious even than Karnage, so if there is a tie there, I'd break it in Cadcom's favor. (How's that for drawing lines? Maybe we're evil together???? But then why would I say this in the thread??!! ) Edit Poke @The_Archivist
  20. Here is math: Field 1 Field 2 Field 3 Field 4 Field 5 Field 6 Field 7 Field 8 Field 9 2.1 Haelbard Burnt DeTess Xino Lord Shard Walin Bard Lopen 2.2 Stink Burnt 2 DeTess 2 Straw Lord 2 Shard 2 Walin 2 Bard 2 Elkanah 3.1 Rover Zillah Araris Xino 2 Coda Shard 3 Rath Bard 3 Kynedath 3.2 Haelbard 2 Zillah 2 Araris 2 Xino 3 Coda 2 Karnage Walin 3 Lopen 2 Elkanah 2 4.1 Fura Zillah 3 CadCom Straw 2 Lord 3 Karnage 2 Rath 2 Devotary Elkanah 3 4.2 This analysis is inherently flawed as to make it work I had to assume everyone could only be elevated in a field they already were in. If we assume I was only elevated in one field, it is impossible to fit the puzzle together as I overlap imperfectly with anyone who was elevated in term two month one. I was surprised to see how many others overlapped perfectly, though. Zillah, Araris and Coda all overlapped really well with either Burnt or DeTess. Four of those five are probably in the same two fields. Fura, CadCom and Devotary are probably not in the same fields as Zillah or Karnage. Aaaaand Catching up on the thread I see I have slipped back into the Free For All version of the game. I was all ready to go back and take the context clues so I could nail down what fields people were actually in. But that does not solve the game. Back to finding the eliminators. Oh and Orange means they are an E'lir so they fit pretty much anywhere. I will vote for Zillah Zillah for being the El'The with the least information. I will go back and do player analysis later to start having more informed accusations than "they will soon be unkillable" but for now that is the best reason I have to vote.
  21. You got it, coach I'll give you a little information on where I came from. I took a little longer to elevate in the field I wanted, so I decided to try the scattershot approach. I have EP in most fields, so it will be a little while before I can be elevated to master, but now I have a couple lower level things I can do. I will keep those to myself for now, but you do not have to worry about me ascending. I too was surprised to see Walin move up so fast, but there is nothing I can do about that now. I am still in agreement that a master is a super strong tool to give the eliminators and would therefore be happy to expel an El'The. To your point about the El'the all being elevated in different fields: no we aren't all necessarily in unique fields. I have elevations in three different fields, so it's very possible that others tried the same strategy and we overlap on one, two, or maybe even all three fields. However, we do know nine people have been elevated every turn, so we can do some math things that will probably be wrong and someone else can fix. There were elevations in 2.1; 2.2; 3.1; 3.2; and 4.1. Wow this math is going to get messy fast! I'll post this now for tuition and come back with math.
  22. Absolutely a fair call. I usually put a lot of effort into activity in these games, but I've been burning the candle at both ends for the LG. Here is some analysis but most of it is just as I recall from past cycles. I probably would have switched over onto Karnage if we had been able to coordinate it outside the last minute of the cycle. That is mostly if not all my fault because I didn't state my willingness to move until the last ten minutes of the cycle. I am going to vote for someone who is under the radar. I am highly incentivized to keep Brightness, Drake, Fura, The God King, Sart and Elbereth alive because it feels like you are the movers and shakers keeping the game alive. Also Lord Silberfarben for keeping the RP alive. I didn't want to vote for the low actives last time because of the two cycle filter, but it looks like everyone is willing to be just active enough to not die to the filter... which is good, but we can do better. I especially can do better. I'll do some looking through of the other cycles when I can. I fear we've already combed through any indicators already, but maybe I missed something about Mist or Kynedath.
