  1. @xinoehp512 @Coda @Alvron @Rathmaskal @shanerockes @Abstrusity @Zillah. I believe there are two eliminators left among the eight of us. The research subset cleared two of us before TGK and Kidpen were killed. One of us is the last member of the research subset and should have two more names. One of us is the last member of the communication subset. Two of us are members of the kidnapping subset. Rathmaskal is a member of the Legal subset. That leaves 3 of us in an undisclosed subset presumably with a kill. Would anyone be willing to enlighten the village? I can all but garantee the eliminators already have this information and hiding it is only putting the village at a disadvantage. Playing the odds a little: Abstrusity, Rathmaskal, Coda and I are loyal to the set. Having said this, we are probably the next four to be killed. We need to start voting in a block or risk giving the elims power over the Lynch and two night kills. I'm willing to move on the alvron Lynch, but we need to start working together.
  2. The God King and I have been discussing ideas for an Ashyn game. Where do we go to get on a wait list and who can we contact to make sure our game is balanced? I'd post more in here, but we were thinking of dong a semi-blackout game.
  3. Well, I still suspect Alvron the most. I will go and look through to see if anyone else throws up red flags.
  4. I am more suspicious of Alvron's vote than Kidpen's. Sorry for my inactivity I just started a new job and I'm reworking my schedule to compensate. @xinoehp512, @Alvron, @Abstrusity, @Zillah We have about 5 hours left in the cycle. Would you mind letting us know who you suspect or trust? Even if it's only a gut feeling. I'd like to keep Kidpen alive for his role. I trust Abstrusity and Young Bard. I'm most suspicious of Zillah and Alvron. I have a slight village lean on Kidpen, Coda and Rathmaskal I have a slight elim lean on Xinoehp and Shanerockes
  5. Fair. I over exaggerated when I said solved. I think I may be able to figure out who is in which subset. It doesn't help us to know who the eliminators are. I have just recently gone from not knowing who is in my subset to being able to place which people are in other subsets, and was elated at finally having some information. I believe Zillah is in Young Bard's subset (hence the veiled threat about killing him for revealing what the sparkle subset can do). We know the players in the Legal subset There are still four players I'm not sure where they fit, which is a big step up from where I was. One of them is likely the third member of the sunshine subset. The other three might be a subset of their own
  6. Hahahahahahahahaah Hahahahahhahaha Well rip me. All I have done this game is defend eliminators and vote for people we have all but confirmed as villagers. I still have no idea how I'm alive! After Rath's confession, I go from almost no info to having the game all but solved. I'd vote for Zillah, but it's night time, so it'll have to wait. Nice job everybody! Keep it up!
  7. Is the final theory that there is no SS happy time subset and Young Bard lied to throw Elandera under the bus? That seems like a pretty desperate play for this early in the game. The only reason that would make sense is if she is likely the only seeker in the game and therefore worth losing a teammate over. I'm not sure what a traitorous part of the SS subset gets by false claiming when there are other members who could contradict. I think they either aren't speaking up because he told the truth, or they aren't speaking up because they don't exist. Given the first, we can trust him until someone contradicts his claim of blocking Elandera. Given the second He could be on an eliminator team that forgot to or chose not to submit a kill. Also given the second and if he's village, he could be lying about the sunshine subset to protect himself from revealing his individual role block role. If that's the case I'm sorry for outing you, Young Bard. If a seer were to claim right now, they would likely be killed, however, if a person claimed to be part of a seer subset their role doesn't die with them and they become less of a target. It's possible that Young Bard was just trying to stay alive which I can empathize with. Also, the suspicion on me as far as I can tell is based purely on activity. I'm not too worried about it as my playstyle has shifted slightly and if I have lynched several people over that in the past. I maintain my villagerness, but I am also not afraid to die. This dead doc looks like it's going to be lit!
  8. I'm not so sure. First, if there is an eliminator in his subset, they already know about the role block and likely have some influence over it. Second, killing Young Bard now wouldn't unreveal the existence of a sparkles and sunshine happy time subset. Assuming he wasn't lying about a role block subset (and I don't understand why he would have) killing him now wouldn't change anything. If, however, there wasn't an eliminator in his subset, they now are aware of the existence of said role block and may try to prevent future blocks. Either way, I figure he's as likely if not a little less likely to be killed now than he was. Flimsy? Me? To be fair, almost anything seems safe compared to my last few games I still think we may be reading into this too far... Unfortunately, I'm not above voting for Elandera to save my own skin. After all, I can be 100 percent sure that I'm village, but I can't have the same assurances about Elandera. Incidentally, this is excellent analysis, Zillah! Thank you for your contribution! Thank you! I'm very interested to learn what this is, but all in good time... If I live that long. Thank you @Coda. That is also some very useful information! Coda (Sorry, quoting from different pages is hard on mobile) So we can assume there are individual roles that move and remove votes instead of subsets. I'm sure there's someone I'm forgetting to respond to, but it's late and I need sleep. I'll go back and make sure I didn't miss anyone tomorrow
  9. I believe Experience was a member of the Legal Subset. True, the kill could be an individual role, but I find that less likely. We have allegedly seen that not everyone is a gold ferring, so I wouldn't be surprised to find there are bronze or zinc ferrings.
  10. That is definitely a read. To play the devil's advocate, is it possible that you have an eliminator in your subset who would skip the kill in favor of framing Elandera? I guess if I was an eliminator, I would still want to take the kill and try to frame people in another way. @DeTess, will we be told in the write up if a kill is blocked. If not it looks a lot better for Elandera. If we are told, I doubt there is a better explanation for a lack of a kill than a role block. Also, Young Bard, this is a ballsy play if you are just claiming Elandera was role blocked just to throw her under the bus. You did post who you were most suspicious so I'll remove my vote. Maybe it'll stick this time? Solid point. I yield to your explanation This is good information. I believe the last subset is one with a kill role. We already have two dead gold ferrings who are protected from kills that are not the arrest or lynch. I see no other reason for this role if we don't have a subset that can kill independent of the elim team. I'm still not completely sold on Elandera (watch me unwittingly defend another EBI agent. At this rate, I'll be the next to defect XD). I'll send a poke at Coda. @Coda, do you know how it is that you had that vote removed from you? Sorry I missed this. Also yes.
  11. Good idea. @Young Bard Young Bard, would you be willing to share any reads or place a vote?
  12. Hmm. Very interesting. Does anyone want to admit to not submitting an action?
  13. Would you be willing to post the results? I already submitted my answers once but it won't let me see the results again unless I submit a new form.
  14. I agree that there was likely one elim among the people who voted for Abstrusity. It was a pretty suspect vote train that took off nearish the end of the cycle. I don't think Elandera was among the elims, though, as her vote was the first one on Abstrusity and it didn't look like that was going anywhere for twelve hours before Venture seconded the vote. I also don't think a second eliminator would jump on the lynch until another elim was put up on the block. Since I put the extra vote on before there was even really a chance of Venture being lynched, I don't think that was super indicative either (which is disappointing as I was hoping my vote would be more indicative). Sorry, This sounds more sardonic than levitous. The above is meant to be read lightheartedly. The next sentence has a good point! Elkanah usually is a bit more chatty and much more crazy. I shall do my best to live up to that reputation (still quite lighthearted) (serious stuff:) What I take away from the lynch is that Elandera is probably good and Abstrusity is definitely good. Venture was gunning for Abstrusity way too hard and could have easily put anyone else (especially me) up as an alternate to the lynch and could have gotten away with it. Also we probably have a person who can move votes on our team and Coda might be a smoker (someone who can remove a vote, but not place it on someone else). Oh and Kidpen might also be good.
  15. Haha, well I've cleared Abstrusity in my mind now... Until we're told someone else changed sides. Sorry for almost lynching you Who's the rioter who changed the vote? Way to go! The set is in your debt.
  16. I admit, I'm not opposed to the Abstrusity lynch. I'll place a vote so I can provide more information to the village. I realize I haven't really been very talkative this game, and I'll try to change that. I'd still like to hear from @The_God_King @Zillah @Rathmaskal @Kidpen Can someone else ping TGK? I can't get it to work. If we aren't all gold ferrings, I find it very interesting that the first two to die were both gold and that they are only killed by a subset or possibly a steel misting. They were killed the only way they could be. It is also interesting given the distinct probability of multiple kills that no one else showed up in the writeup as even having been attacked. It doesn't make sense to include so much passive protection without anticipating multiple night kills. Any other thoughts or revelations?
  17. Thank you for the poke! I needed it. I've kind of lapsed back into my play style from before the Anniversary game. Believe it or not I used to be a very careful player . However, you are right. I have more fun in these games when I am lying and flying by the seat of my pants. I still don't have a lot of information available outside of the names of a few of the subsets and I have erred on the side of trying to hide information from the eliminators. Now that we know our own set members are defecting (!?!) There is little reason to keep things so private. Here are my guesses and you can read into them as much or as little as you like. I believe there are five subsets as follows; a kill, a protect, a roleblock, a messenger, and maybe a sequence subset. We have confirmed the existence of the legal subset and I believe there is a communications subset. Apply those as you will, I am not interested in telling you which factions I am in or not in. I further believe that the eliminator team started with just one member. They had to have at least one to kill Kynedath last night. That being the case, we might have three set sequences in total which would bring the evil team up to four players. The dangerous thing there is the fourth is guaranteed to live past C3 which is a lot of elims for the late game. So maybe 2 set sequences and two ebi agents? Also I'll just ask, even though it may not be wise... but is it possible we are all gold ferrings?
  18. Hey all, Great game! I though for sure we had lost when I died! There were two things I totally lost track of though. I completely forgot about the light lines. Roleblocks OP. That helps us a lot even though the elims ended up with three at one point. The other I just realized was my only condolence was that the elims had to choose whether to kill someone or use my 63 chits to buy a gun... which was totally false as they could take both a role action and a buy action. GG elims! I don't know if there was any way you could have played that better! Thank you for GMing @Elandera, and also for giving me a reason to read this book! I tend to stick to just cosmere, but I'm really reconsidering that now as I'm halfway through Starsight. For anyone worried about the codes, most of them were Xinoehp correcting my spelling XD. The code is based on the US keyboard. For each letter you would type, just shift your fingers down one space. thus, 'q' becomes 'a'. 's' becomes 'x'. For the bottom row, you move to the top of the next column e.g. 'b' becomes 'y'; 'm' becomes 'i' and 'p' becomes 'q'. I might add more thoughts later, but we'll see.
  19. That is a solid point... Kynedath I do still plan to vote for someone this cycle. Mostly because if I don't then i get lynched. I don't know who yet, though.
  20. XD HAHA, clearly you are the eliminator! The gods of Chance never lie Also, yes! I have two reasons not to vote for me. 1. I am pretty good at getting information for the village. 2. I say in my introduction, I am definitely nether a creep nor EBI. I will throw a vote at Kynedath, because in the set you are guilty until proven innocent. Do you have any proof?
  21. Shenanigans! I'll have you know I take these games with the utmost seriousness I suppose it does! It got me to post after all. XD I will volunteer that I am a member of between (-1) and (3) subsets inclusive. I also have reason to suspect there are seven subsets total with some overlap of membership. The first 'things I know' is the two factions have the same goal which made me suspicious that the two factions might have the same number of players and we are dealing with a blackout faction kind of game. After all, in none of the 'things I know' are we told the EBI have a doc to conspire in. However, the fifth (third quoted) 'things I know' says they can eliminate a player... which would be hard without a doc to conspire in and gives them an advantage over the Set if we were given an equal number of players. Although, there is an idea! I'll let you know I don't believe this to be the case, but what if the EBI all have to submit their kills via GM pm without knowing who their teammates are?! They would have a silent vote and maybe start jailing their own XD. I was going to admit to being a part of the Set, but maybe that's what they want us to do. If we start admitting to crimes, they have all power to arrest. To all members of the EBI, I am definitely not a part of the set... I am just a consultant to the paranoia subset and thus a normal villager. Feeding people to the spiral is so fun!
  22. Well, Near, It looks like I've won! -Death Note Sorry couldn't help myself
  23. Xino: Sart, Araris, Abstrusity, Zillah Araris: Xino, Fifth, Elkanah, Kynedath So why are you voting for Xino?!?!?! Edit: my bad Edit 2: Xino: Sart, Araris, Abstrusity, Araris: Xino, Fifth, Elkanah, Kynedath, Zillah
  24. Sorry I wasn't caught up on the thread so I have reverse ninjas. Here is my edit from above
  25. I don't know that I have. I still have you as a more or less neutral read (but that's almost everyone besides Kynedath and Zillah). However, I don't trust you either and I wanted to supply an alternate both as a way to see who else would jump on and try to save Xino and so the Xino lynch doesn't get away from us like the last two have. Thank you Edit: @Araris Valerian, I have figured out my evidence! While it is true that eliminators are more likely to stay active as they feel like they have more invested in controlling discussion, I think killing our most likely candidate for buying a gun is a poor choice. If we lynch Xinoehp and the elims kill whoever else buys the gun the elims are left unchecked to buy the guns. I have a feeling I'm going to die, so I am going to send my chits to a random player. At the very least that way I only have a three in nine chance of sending them to an elim, whereas if I die, I will have a one hundred percent chance of giving my chits to them. Although I guess I could also just buy another radio so my chits don't go to waste... Either way, If we kill the people most likely to buy a gun as a villager, the villagers can't buy any guns and the elims get them as fast as they can pass chits.
