  1. Going through the names of the people who wanted Adavantos checked seems just as effective as killing the people who don't comment. Neither is very substantial evidence, but I guess it gives us some information. The difference is that those who voted on the Kandra check were at least participating. I want to point out that the reason I wanted (and still want) to have Adavantos checked is so we can trust him with this information. I have revealed my role to a few people who I feel I can trust, but the more people we can clear, the further we can narrow down and single out the traitors. I think Bort put it perfectly. I've noticed that with Adavantos encouraging so much discussion and obtaining information, that Orlock has become more and more uneasy. If he is a traitor, it makes sense that he would want to stop that flow as soon as possible. I've been ninja'd but to the point where I'm writing this the votes stand at: Alvron(1): Stink Kaid(0): Kipper Badger(1): Araris Bort(1): Arraenae Kipper(3): Clanky, Bort, Alfa, Clanky(1): Kipper Alfa(1): Lopen Burnt(1): Hellscythe Orlock(1): Elkanah Edited to fix the vote (ninja'd by three of them) Alvron(1): Stink Kaid(0): Kipper Badger(1): Araris Bort(0): Arraenae Kipper(2): Clanky, Bort, Alfa, Clanky(1): Kipper Alfa(3): Lopen, Ripple, Clanky Burnt(1): Hellscythe Orlock(2): Elkanah, Arraenae
  2. It has really bugged me how much information Adavantos has without much reason to trust him. My gut has said he was good so I haven't said too much about it, but I would like to add my vote to scanning him to be sure. Once we can trust Adavantos, it opens a lot of opportunities for trust and as he has become a hub of info anyway. Maybe he would be a good contact with the HI so we don't lose the information if/when the HI turns. Of course, if he is evil, we just kill him anyway and the traitors lose that point of contact. On voting for the mistborn kill, I'll put my vote on Phattemer. I can't find the quote now, but someone said that the no vote option was a good disguise for not voting in a lynch. That is all I have to go off of and I suggest the mistborn rather than going with the popular vote, just go with someone who has been nominated who seems the most suspicious to them. That could solve the problem of revealing themselves by only changing the kill when they or someone they trust are the target. Also, I'm sorry to have been so inactive recently. I didn't realize the time commitment this game involved, but I am committed to being more active from here on.
  3. Reading through the thread I was going to agree with Stink. It would have been more efficient to have a directed mistborn kill at night and use people's responses in the thread to find another traitor. However, if Wilson even has a chance of being a voidbringer, it's better just to kill her now to make sure she dies and then look for others because even if she isn't a voidbringer, we'll be killing a traitor. I'd also like to ask a kandra to check Adavantos. He has a lot of information. If he's on our side it would be okay, but if he's a traitor we need to know sooner rather than later. Edit: ninja'd by adavantos' edit and Kipper
  4. I was thinking along the same line as Kas. We obtained a little new information and lost everything else we had spent roughly 36 hours discussing. I agree that Wilson and Stink both look very suspicious. I just don't want to drop everything before we've finished our first trial. I would still like to hear more from Bort and Bridge Boy. Creccio has explained himself well enough to not be on my top list for now, but I'm still going to keep an eye on him I'm afraid I don't have anything to add in the case of Wilson v. Stink as I didn't receive pm's from or about either. Everything for me has been hearsay, except what they both agree on. (which as far as I can tell is just that they both knew Maill was a hemalurgist and neither suspect Kipper). I'm kind of in the camp of neither being a traitor because if they are both traitors nominating each other it seems like a really risky move, and both have had good arguments for why the other is bad.
  5. Sorry friends, my midterms are finally almost over so I'll have time more time to post. As for the abruptness of that vote I was really surprised at how quickly that switched to someone who wasn't even on the voting block. I'll need to be more vigilant in the future. I don't know about any of the people voted for but the only information we really have to go on right now is who voted for whom and whatever people learn in their PM's. Judging from the nature of the vote as far as I can tell the swing began with Wilson, but the tipping point was Bort. I wasn't willing to put a whole lot of suspicion on either, because they have both given defenses for their actions and they sound decently plausible, until Bort said this I added the bold when people asked to be killed, it sends red flags for me because of the reverse psychology that gets involved. The thought process that only a crew member would be okay with dying because they are expendable is thoroughly flawed and sounds to me like a traitor trying to get cleared. The second bold part feels like a weak defense after being called out. Saying "I was joking" doesn't quite make it go away for me. I've also heard a lot of the same through PM's. On another note: US for the Win!
  6. phwew I finally caught up with the conversation. So far I've had a lot of thoughts that have been covered. Those have been shared so I won't waste our time. I like the idea of a countdown so we know how long we have before the HI turns, but also we need someone we can trust receiving the intel the HI gives us while we still trust him. I'm not sure how to make that work though. If we don't have someone we trust receiving the roles the HI finds out, the HI may as well start off evil for all the good his checking power does us. I'm also open to corrections. Please if I have misspoken or left something out let me know. Also Thank you Elbereth for the vote tally
