  1. You're right Maill, you have explained what you were going for. What's suspicious to me was that it ended up killing someone you knew was innocent. Part of the problem is that you are one of very few who are active and that's how I've been analyzing. We've seen in MR 10 and QF11 that inactivity is a good place for eliminators. I'm not usually the one to start a crusade, but my guess is that's where they are. alvron, what do you think?
  2. First, I'm sorry for my inactivity over the last couple of cycles. I just started a new job and it has been a little hectic. I've been able to keep up with the thread and a few pm's, but I still don't have any solid suspicions. I thought I was sure that Hellscythe was spiked. I was also suspicious of wyrm for his early claim. I was clearly wrong on both. That being said, I'm most suspicious of Maill right now because he led a lynch train and got off at the last minute claiming to know that the lynchee was innocent. Any other thoughts about it would be welcome. Edit fixed autocorrect
  3. I'll sign on as Ken. I can't promise much for role play, but I'll do what I can. Ken is of polynesian descent but his family has lived in California Persepolis for a few generations now. He's 6'2 and has a thug like build. He's not much for book smarts but he knows his way around the streets and here that's much more important anyway. He's generally easy going until he feels threatened. I'm also excited for the activity filter. Here's to another great game!
  4. Hey, sorry I haven't been around the last couple of turns. I've been trying to keep up with both threads and post meaningful content in both, but I wanted to rp in this game and it just takes too long. Looking back through the thread, I think Hellscythe is the most suspicious at this point. Partially because he has contradicted himself. Partially because of his defense of Lopen. And although I really like his milder playstyle it is a big change from qf11 and mr10. That said I would be okay with him being scanned. It's a better alternative to all these tied lynches. If he's evil, it won't be too hard to lynch him. If he isn't, we can move on.
  5. The crew of men and women stood in a circle around their fatality congratulating themselves on their mob justice. That'll teach those diagrammists! Then they heard a single piercing scream. Kael was the first to reach Ashei. She lay in a pool of her own blood. He checked for a pulse, but there was none. The others soon joined him. "She's gone." He informed them. "I knew she was one of us" Lopen exclaimed. "I'm done with these games." Kael stood, his eyes fixed on what used to be Ashei. "I agree. I think we are down to the last one or two diagrammists. It's time to take down Adavantos." Okay, so here's our roster of who's left written in my estimation of most active to least: ( my thoughts in purple) 1 Lopen (The Mighty Lopen) very likely good. 2 Deadeye (Kynedath) also most likely good. 3 Agrigar Leiken (Adavantos) evil. Kill him with fire. 4 Kael of the Forge (Elkanah): an eager emigrant definitely good 5 Slalassalas (Paranoid King): swordfighter who's "defeated" many Horneaters under a lot of suspicion, but I'm not sure I buy it. 6 Elba (Elbereth) claiming to be fifth (fourth?) assassin. I'm not sure yet. 7 Frank "Gold Frank" Au Faliu (Feligon): a pirate with an nonflying(?) pirate ship, looking for his brother not sure here either, but I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt for now. 8 Torren (Twei): an ex-Skybreaker Radiant, ditched by his spren I'm inclined to trust. Giving up clanky would have been a bold move for a diagrammist 9 Alycia Kavdar (RippleGylf) not much to analyze. If she's an eliminator she may be the inactive one. 10 Bort likely village but that's based on role distributions. 11 Arran Faenel (Aonar) seemed helpful early on. I'd like to have them back. 12 Yallah (Tony Shark) I wasn't super suspicious, but others are. Would be a good cook target, but save the lynch until Ada is dead. 13 Maximilianos Sebarial (Venture) inactive 14 Sheon Idris (Seonid): the late King of Arelon, seeking vengeance on Mr T and his adherents. I pity da fool. inactive 15 Walter Kysley (polking): an Azish soldier evil inactive? 16 Seixa (Phattemer): A man who believes he's a Skybreaker Squire so inactive, I thought a cook had already killed him. (Yet still in the write-up.) The next order of business is to kill Adavantos. Then and only then will we know the nature of the diagrammist team. I believe that Clanky and Ada were the last ones and Clanky sent in a kill rather than a protect last cycle. That would explain why there were no diagrammist kills on the cycles where Ada was protected. Either that, or polking or venture or Tony are diagrammist, but inactive enough to cripple their team. Edit fixed color
  6. Here's an update: Twelfth: Lopen, Elbereth Clanky: Elkanah, Twelfth, Kynedath, Seonid Thank you for your post, Lopen. I've felt like it was down to seven or eight people. I didn't realize that we still have seventeen. I'm inclined to believe the last diagrammists are among those who are actively not posting. Unfortunately, that includes thirteen of our eighteen survivors. That's a pretty big cloud for them to hide in. No offense, but if your gut says Burnt is good, I'm more suspicious of her Thank you Telfth. With your info coupled with Clanky's inconsistency earlier, I'm more sure that he's the diagrammist. However, to prevent me just tunelling and getting a train behind me, I want Clanky to respond. I'd hate to lead us headlong into a trap set by Adavantos. BTW Ada, thank you for your reveal. As infuriating as your trolls are, they've made this game pretty fun. Edit ninjaed by adavantos
  7. All right. I'm kind of surprised this hadn't come out in the last two cycles. I've tried to pretend that few people knew my role because I wanted to believe I'd win as out team's surviving KR. My actions have been: 1 protect Maill 2 protect Maill 3 friction Kipper 4 friction Ada 5 friction Feligon 6 friction Lopen 7 protect Kynedath I didn't want Maill to die early again. Especially since he was my captain and my only access to a pm. Kipper claimed to a runner on cycle 3 and then died. That's when I first hinted art my role in thread. Ada had no pm activity that cycle, but the next cycle, Clanky claimed to have been in contact with Aavantos for some time and to have protected him. Feligon claimed to someone. I'll leave it up to who they have trusted to reveal. I almost wet my pants laughing so hard at Lopen's pm. It was mostly discussing how to trick me into claiming in case I read his pm the following cycle. My gut feeling last night was to protect Lopen, but for admittedly faction based reasons, I protected Kynedath because I thought he was the second most likely to get hit because of how helpful he's been in the thread. I guess I chose right. I'm suspicious of Clanky for reasons above. I don't know how that changes now though with the information that someone else may have protected him. I also am wary of feligon because we haven't found someone of his role to be a diagrammist yet and I'd guess that they'd have one. I tend to lean towards pk is good. I trust Kynedath. As much as I was ready to lynch Lopen when I read his pm, I think he's village sided. Even if he is misguided enough to be a ghost blood. Oh and adavantos is definitely bad.
  8. Kane starred at his plants. Yesterday, all his troubles seemed do far away. Life was such an easy game to play. Today, however, had grown from the ruckus if the night. Throughout the village, the shouted arguments had faded to deceitful and distrusted whispers. This allowed Kane the opportunity get away from the mess. He'd hoped the carriage had just been an anomaly, but with the discovery of Senn's body things could only get worse. He held a card in his hand as he thought. He'd looked into deciphering whatever those cards meant. Unfortunately it all looked like a foreign language to him. He hoped someone wiser than he would be able to translate it. For now, he had work to do. *I'm not sure I'm going along with the Wyrm train. I think we're mostly just desperate for information at this point. I think Kas is the most suspicious, but it would suck to lynch him so early again. Has anyone heard from Panda recently?* Edit: for sneaky autocorrect
  9. Okay well... I'm glad I wasn't completely fooled by Malarn.... I'll hold on to the identity of the last runner for now. we'll see when it becomes more important. Also, I'm getting nervous having the only vote this cycle with no evidence against me. I really would prefer if this didn't turn into a repeat of QF11. As soon as activity died, the Jeskers had free reign. Meta and I learned that inactivity kills first hand. I'd poke vote someone, but I'm sure someone would manipulate my vote and mash out my voice. Please for the sake of the village post! If it looks like I'll be lynched, I'll dump everything I can into the thread as a parting gift, and wish you all luck. Edit: ninjaed by Pk. Also Adavantos
  10. Kane returned late from the greenhouses outside of town. Another long day of caring for the plans left him exhausted. He didn't mind though. It sometimes seemed that flowers were more understanding than people. He trekked home through the thick snow reflecting on the days events. Dull and predictable as always, just as he liked it. Until that is he came through the center of town. There was a lot of confused noise and people huddled in groups gossiping. In the middle of it all was a mass of wreckage that vaguely resembled an overturned carriage. Although how it ended up in that bad of condition he couldn't tell. Kane sighed. "So much for predictable." And he entered the throng to see what he could learn.
  11. It's late Christmas night for me, but for the reasons given by Zas: Creccio. I'd also like to add that when Adavantos first confessed he said if we went through what he posted we'd find one or two diagrammists. Zas has done that. I still want to hear from Clanky about his pm with Adavantos. I think there is a lot to learn from pm's especially in this game. I'm not entirely sure how a scholar's ability works, but I'm understandably uneasy about lynching my Restares especially as a claimed KR. Killing the diagrammists comes first however. Since Creccio is probably going to die, I'd like the gratification of knowing whether I just shot myself in the foot. Of course that reveal is entirely contingent upon him not being saved. If not Creccio, I'm okay with finding out about Maili. I've already expressed that I trusted him enough to reclaim in pm, but I've been wrong before, and if he was a diagrammist it would be nice to know.
  12. I wasn't sure if I was going to have enough time to play these two games at the same time, but as soon as Christmas is over I'll have a lot more spare time. I'd like to join as Kane.
  13. If I remember correctly, he said we could vote in who he revealed as village or diagrammist, not on who he poisoned. For now, I like that option as he kills inactives. Two benefits we gain therefrom are: 1 we have lost half of our scholars so having another confirmed scholar may be crucial, and 2 it encourages more people to be active. It was mostly due to adavantos that I posted at all in lg15 when I was a traitor because I knew lurking would get me killed. Plus we can always lynch him if he kills someone we agree was too far.The downside to keeping him around is when it gets down to a numbers game, and we can't spare the deaths. I'm still suspicious of Deathclutch as well. When we the last time he or Phattemer was on? Can you give us any other information from your pm? Is there anyone Adavantos has defended or gone after? Specifically what did he say yesterday regarding the lynch? Thank you Adavantos. I think this presents a fun challenge. You've kind of taken the role of the HI of this game. Sorry for jumping around, I've only have a phone to view and post with and this is my first attempt to respond to several posts at once.
  14. Thank you for this. I would love to discuss my role and what you think of it in a pm. It was kind of my intention to give just enough information in thread that in case I die, others will be able to learn from it. That's one of our biggest weaknesses as yet. We have killed several people, but until today it hasn't helped us at all. (By the way, I feel that's an awesome mechanic that although it makes the game more challenging, it also becomes more fun) As I've thought about it more Creccio, I like my suggestion of revealing the rank of the fallen sons of honor less and less. While I am curious about our faction's wellbeing, I don't think knowing ranks helps us find diagrammists. Thank you Maill, I don't know how to multi quote on a phone, but this time there should be color (I hope) Deathclutch, where have you been since cycle 1?
  15. I think now that we have contact with two claimed scholars, it might be time to have them scan different targets. Even if one of the two is a diagrammist, we can gather more information from their scans. At the very least, diagrammist elsecaller will have a harder time obscuring the information. I like the idea of rescanning night one victims, but now having said that they know our target and might therefore go back and change their identities again. We're back in the ikyk cycle. Although, even with Wilson's RNG,I doubt both elsecallers are diagrammists. Therefore, having two targets Will help us outmaneuver the diagrammists.
