From your information, it is possible that both of my actions were kills and I guess I'd have just double tapped Araris since I maintain that Fura is the one to have killed him and there is plenty of evidence for it. I may as well have picked Araris out of a hat as to whose vote on Karnage I would soothe. I guess I should explain that term. I know you know it but there are others who might not. Typically when we play games on Scadrial (the world of Mistborn) we will use allomantic roles. Seekers are able to see what action or alignment someone has. Thugs give protection. Rioters can move votes. Soothers can take votes away. As a smuggler I used the power that usually applies to soothers in that I removed "Soothed" their votes. I thought it was funny that I happened to target the person who died to remove their vote. It was like I was there with them helping to pass their last moments. To continue the joke I targeted a person who was guaranteed to draw another night kill and soothe them then. I expected Karnage to survive of course, but he certainly didn't need his vote given there were twenty other people voting for the same person. I claimed with 18-ish hours left in the cycle so that we could discuss another target. That is the opposite of stalling. That is certainly an interesting guess as I don't have a kill. I would be willing to target Karnage again, but I don't remember if he voted for me, so I might have a different priority. Immortal scanner? Oh. Because you're killing me. I see. No that won't work. Bleeder will still be out there. Also, I'm pretty sure we lost one of our two bodyguards last cycle and the remaining one is likely to be killed by the constables tonight. Please self protect. This weekend ended up busier than I had anticipated, so for now I only have time to respond. I do still want to come up with my own analysis, but that might have to wait to see if I live that long. Soo many posts! True, I thought Straw was good. I was very wrong. Clearly it was either Fura or myself who killed Araris so it only made sense for me to vote Fura. It isn't really the meta to think that way on the shard, but that is very much the meta I play by irl. I'd have basically been admitting I killed Araris if I didn't start to tunnel on Fura. If I tunnel the only other option, then it becomes a binary and if we both get killed then we traded one village for one wolf and that is worth it. I realize that isn't meta here and I don't think it needs to be. That was just where I was coming from for that vote. In addition, the lynch was already secured on Straw, so I maintain that my vote isn't indicative whether I voted Straw or not I'll see what I can do to help you find a better option. Saaaaaamee. I am absolutely leaving my vote on Pyro because there are several ways where he just keeps living. It seems like the fastest way to kill Winsting would be to reduce the number of villagers and I would use my kill every turn. That way, when Flogs dies by whatever means, there are fewer criminals left on whom the mantle may fall. I think the current bleeder is taking a more careful approach. I believe they scanned someone not up for the lynch on Cycle one and tried to hunt and peck out flogs since the village was pretty content to hunt constables and the constables didn't really have an argument to hunt Bleeder in the thread. Hmm, Wilson could be bleeder. I honestly have no idea and I'm more interested in killing constables anyway. Especially since I think Flogs lives two more cycles anyway. I recommend we find someone the village wants dead instead as I will get elim killed and we shouldn't be doing their work for them. If I am targeted and survive, then by all means lynch me as that would suggest I am bleeder.

Ah, but therin lies my fiendish cunning. A. Why would bleeder waste time smuggling even if she could? B. I have to assume Matrim, Wilson, Devotary and Kynedath did not soothe any of those votes or they'd have said so. No one else did. Only I and I can tell you which vote was soothed. Until someone else claims to have soothed a vote off Karnage, Occam's razor shows I am not bleeder. I see. As a matter of fact I did soothe a vote last cycle, because I figured I might as well. As you State, it's far less important who this time.

Ah, so I did. As promised, I will reveal one of my abilities is a Smuggler. I invite anyone else to explain where Araris'vote went cycle one. Why, you ask, did I soothe his vote. I wanted to orchestrate a tie. Surely if one death cycle one got us information, three or even four would have helped exponentially. Sadly, rollover is at three am my time and I slept through the alarm I set to help ensure the deaths. I invite anyone who wants to to counterclaim. Ouch. Losing Striker and Orlock is a pretty big blow for us. A bodyguard bartender combo is strong, and Orlock found elims quickly. Welcome Megasif! Oh! I mean, there you are Megasif. Points for trying. XD I am really interested to hear what Fura claimed, but I guess it's not fair to ask. It was something that could prove he was not an eliminator. Clearly not a bodyguard or Araris would still be with us. Maybe a stalker (in this case it's probably better you don't tell us.) Could still be an elim stalker though, so that doesn't actually clear you. I'll have to give this some more thought. Well, the good news is Karnage is absolutely a bigger threat to the elims than you are. With him not telling us whether he is scanning Brightness Radiant or Furamirionind, they don't have much choice but to kill him tonight... And for the foreseeable future until bleeder helps double tap. So you will be able to help us longer than he can. I recommend following Striker, Brightness, or Furamirionind. I'm not at all concerned about which you pick, so don't tell us. I knew it and I called it No worries. I've been playing a long time and I'm still quite bad. You'll get the hang of it. And if it takes you a while, I'll be struggling with you. Some ninjas, but I'm afraid my phone will delete my post if I look so I'll post with possibly outdated or redundant info.

Yeah, you've pretty much got it. When the game starts next Wednesday, you'll get a message from Striker and Bard telling you what team you're on and which powers you have. If you're on the eliminator team, you will have a Google doc to talk to the other eliminators to figure out who you will kill. Just a tip, if you are an eliminator, still ask for clarification on rules in the main game thread (which will look like this one) because it is typically kind of obvious when people are getting help from other eliminators. Young Bard linked a super helpful thread above that I recommend having open in another tab for your first few games. Have you played any other kinds of mafia before? I found it! I like to be able to see it. I wish I had the time to make these myself. It's like a baby version of your posts. While it lacks all of the extra analysis, it still helps to point out who is hiding and who is overcompensating... and who is being extra attacky or defendy. Wow! that was the ultimate multiquote. I'm disappointed I haven't been a bigger part of unmasking the elims this game, but it is pretty clear who the eliminator team is. Part of me really wants Orlock to be a constable. Giving up three teammates is straight savage, but is there a better way to get the village to disperse early? I don't think he is though. I also don't think Wilson is a constable as that interaction with Pyro PMing her information would be really weird. Further, if that were information from the doc, why would she post it here? I can see the thread tying Brightness Radiant to the Constables, but that's the one that caught me by surprise. If you are bad, Brightness, you had me fooled. I need to sleep, for now I'll vote on Furamirionind. Straw is very lynched so it doesn't especially matter for whom I vote.

I more or less agreed, but I wasn't trying to lynch him anyway. So I'm not the one you need to convince. I'll spend some time tonight drawing all the lines I can find. It'll be interesting to see where they cross over. I'm also interested to see how many kills there will be tonight. It wouldn't be unreasonable to see four kills on even cycles so that should be interesting.
