You know, this brings up an interesting thought to this. If a radiant is full of stormlight is their healing as fast as a double gold or slower? If Wax was able to fire an aluminum bullet right into Kaladin's brain, would he die or would he react like Miles. If he reacts like Miles and they're fighting outside Wax and Wayne don't stand a chance.

Likely autonomy or odium. Most seem to think autonomy though I disagree.

This. I'm pretty sure that every lifeless we see in Warbreaker was created with one breath.

Well iirc spear shafts were about 1" in diameter of a hard wood. That's not easy to break but it's wouldn't be that hard either. I use a cane in real life and I have broken one that was wooden by accident and it had a 1" diameter, it took quite a bit of force but that would be fairly common in a fight and easily done purposely by a stormlight fueled Kaladin.

Duel to the Death: The Lord Ruler or Vasher?
Charononus replied to Turos's topic in Cosmere Discussion
See I took it a little differently. He learned it at the same time, but I don't think he learned it from the power of preservation. Hemalurgy is Ruin's power after all, and Ruin was imprisoned at the well. -
Duel to the Death: The Lord Ruler or Vasher?
Charononus replied to Turos's topic in Cosmere Discussion
At the time we meet him, I thought it was pretty well hinted at that he was broken down by ruin. I don't think he ever did a good job of resisting. In fact I'd rate his resistance as pitiful. Yes he took the power of the well, but he also created the Koloss, Kandra, and inquisitors. He made all the tools that Ruin wanted. Ruin was just playing the long game, he was playing the lord ruler like a chess piece 1000 years worth of moves ahead. -
I wonder how hard it would really be to learn how to use the other hand. I mean if you were told you had to from childhood, I'd imagine it would feel unnatural, but with practice..... Anyone have any actual experience with that? It's got my curiosity.

I've wondered how much of Lirin was influenced by Brandon finishing WoT and the Tuatha'an.

Duel to the Death: The Lord Ruler or Vasher?
Charononus replied to Turos's topic in Cosmere Discussion
This is pretty much what I think too. Vasher seems too smart to ever get into a fair fight unless there was no other way. Yeah killing the Lord Ruler would be hard, that's established, but between being very cosmere aware, likely able to go and get a ton of breath if he needed it, nightblood, and his superior knowledge of awakening, which allows him to mess with memories even, I think he stands a decent chance as long as he isn't forced into a cage match. -
Duel to the Death: The Lord Ruler or Vasher?
Charononus replied to Turos's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I disagree with this. He heals via investiture. Nightblood eats investiture. Pretty sure a Nightblood wound will be fatal no matter who or what you are. -
Possible world-hopper/Hoid sighting
Charononus replied to NewbSombrero's topic in Cosmere Discussion
This wasn't pitch though it was rhythm. Personally I think Durn was just talented. -
See I'm not sure on this. I look at nightblood almost like an ai as he is an artificial entity. Adding the power of the shard would add more data to his mind, and in a way more cpu power, but it doesn't correct his fundamental flaw of being artificial and not understanding moral judgements. At increased power from a shard he might be able to make better guesses on what Vasher would think, (he seems to try to please Vasher) but they would still be guesses.

Yeah for those unfamiliar with early computers this is an interesting story to me anyways. And this is a picture of the log book. http://thenextweb.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/2013/09/bug.jpg

Unless poor nightblood stays confused on what evil is and decides to destroy everything to make sure he gets all the evil, because he now hates evil so much.

Dalinar's Flashback Chapter from Oathbringer
Charononus replied to Argent's topic in Stormlight Archive
Genghis has the lead in history only imo because of numbers. You want a true monster of history look at someone like Vlad Tepes. The interesting thing is that some depictions of him also paint him as a hero. -
Wayne has some ambitions. Yes he's very happy drinking and lying about during his down time, however if you look at his actions since he killed a man, his actions have all said he's living his life for atonement, that he doesn't think he can ever earn.

We didn't see it in the same way in Arrow but it does somewhat happen. You see him at first in what looks like a hoodie in flashbacks and then evolving a little bit into armor in the current timeframe. Then Barry mocks him for the grease paint and eventually gives him a mask. Then this season he has a whole new outfit. Now I'm not saying that it was the same, as there most definitely is a sexualization undertone difference, but to say that we don't see the Arrow go thru costuming changes as things developed is false.

When two Elantrians have children...

Side note I'm having a hard time finding the thread I first read about the idea in. -

Toss in nightblood, "a gift for you my lord" pull nightblood out of the Lord rulers chest later. -

There was a thread on this forum discussing it. I'm using a tablet atm but I'll try to find the link later tonight. -

OK so reading this thread two questions, first what's a fullborn? Second outside of the heralds have we really seen immortals? -
Heh, so follow the forums here. Lol.

I used to build my own, but I've been using a laptop for about 9 years now since I became disabled. Sitting at a desk is hard for me comfort wise so a laptop is a must and you can't really build them, though you can modify some of their equipment.

I don't know where to report this but when I first sign in, it takes me to a "you do not have permission to access that" page. Then I have to click back to the regular forums. I don't know what other information the admins might need to look at this but let me know and I can post any relevant information and screenshots that might help.
