Not sure if this is the right place but is there anywhere that has an official update to follow about when the graphic novels are coming out?
-
If that means season 2 does in fact happen. I'm still happy at that point. Mal may be using a walker, but you can't win them all.
-
Alethi however don't need a different form, and humans did defeat the voidbringers multiple times in the past, for a while at least.

This has me thinking. What kind of damage do those black patches indicate. I wonder if Arsteel had been killed by Nightblood, would they have been able to make his body into a lifeless or does nightblood damage the body too badly for that to work.

I hope so. The gap between Warbreaker and SA has me really wanting to know what happened.

It's not just density though. Pretty sure Sazed mentions that when using more "weight" while fighting at some point. If it was density, he could make himself harder to hurt which doesn't happen. If no one else finds the quote, I'll try to find it later tonight. I think it's in WoA during the end battle while he's holding the gate. edited: I had the wrong book stated.

Wow news to me though it explains a couple things. Though I wonder how "darkly" to interpret this information.

Probably just as dangerous to compound sleep as it is to become a pewter savant. Stopping after a long time could kill you.

I hope you're wrong. I like morally grey heroes, they feel so much more real.

Ah I have an audiobook of Elantris and I've been thinking of getting a copy of the 10th anniversary edition but haven't yet. Thanks.

Closing time just ruins the fun. *I hate myself a little for having that pun pop into my head.

Which novel is this other plan? I'm trying to figure out what you are referencing and failing.

Poor Ati, always getting blamed for what goes wrong in the cosmere.

Real-life "Soonie Pups" (Mistborn Era 2 Teddy Bears)
Charononus replied to KidWayne's topic in Mistborn
Well a Kandra could have enough eyes to be Trell if they wanted to. -
I honestly like the 1980's better. The 1800's gunslinger Wax timeframe has cars coming out, guns being popular, trains connecting the world. The 1940's ish era did bring on nuclear power and the bomb. With the eventual construction of nuclear power plants. But other than the fear of atomic warfare this didn't effect most people. (An argument could be made for planes) The advance into the atomic age was one made by governments and foreign policy makers. The common people lead their lives mostly as before. However the 1980's are when the microprocessor started getting small enough for home use and cheap enough for home use. This had an effect on everyone. There is no one that wasn't effected, except maybe a hermit living in the hills.

I disagree with this. First I could swear I've seen others write that Kelsier is still around in some form. That means he exists at the same time as Kaladin. Even if it doesn't, I think the differences between Kel and Kal are major. Kelsier first of all is all about the destination. He's willing to butcher the nobility, create mass chaos, and in general do what ever it takes to accomplish his goals. That his goal is to protect skaa is not that similar to Kaladin at all, and in fact it could be said that it is something in fact diametrically opposed. Kaladin hates the lighteyes, but even if Syl didn't care, I don't see him sucking in some stormlight and butchering an entire warcamp, which is something that Kelsier would have done in his place. Don't get me wrong I like Kelsier and still consider him to be a hero, but he was brutal and responded to things fundamentally differently.

Where's WalDo: The Kandra Worldhopper
Charononus replied to Kobold King's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Has anyone ever tried to ask what kind of blessing WalDo has? -
I so wish this was something in real life when I get insomnia.

The Surge Regrowth and Kaladin's Various Powers
Charononus replied to KasA97's topic in Stormlight Archive
I think you're reading too much into this. If you've ever tried to grab and restrain something or someone that is really dexterous, (my experience is from working with animals) it is like Rock describes. It's just the dexterity of a windrunner filled with stormlight. -
Songs That Make You Think of Stormlight Archive

I get the Firefly song stuck in my head at that point even if it doesn't completely fit. -
Dalinar's Flashback Chapter from Oathbringer

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of that. -
Real-life "Soonie Pups" (Mistborn Era 2 Teddy Bears)

All I have to say is one thing, "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!" -
For some reason I've had a suspicion that Dalinar killed her while drunk and covered it up. I base this on absolutely nothing however.

Quick note on Willshapers and Elsecallers
Charononus replied to FirstSelector's topic in Stormlight Archive
Is Szeth really a skybreaker or proto-skybreaker now? Yeah Nalan implies it, but he's kind of nuts. I took what he said about that with a large grain of salt when I read it. -
Dalinar's Flashback Chapter from Oathbringer
Charononus replied to Argent's topic in Stormlight Archive
It's not just that, it's pragmatic it some ways. Never leave a live enemy behind you. Though vs anyone but alethi you might want to cripple large numbers so that they spend their resources caring for their wounded. However vs the Alethi this likely wouldn't work because I can't see the Highprinces expending resources on caring for injured troops that couldn't be quickly made to return to the battlefield.
