  1. I'm not sure how helpful Lightweaving would be. The Mistborn can just burn bronze to find the Lightweaver, making a disguise useless.
  2. I just finished Firefight. I think that Obliteration's weakness is Calamity or, in his mind, something he views as a messenger of God. He talks about God in his nightmares and he calls Calamity an archangel.
  3. I'd imagine that where they fought would have a large impact on the winner. Any world where the use of metal was common, the Mistborn would win. A world where metal wasn't common, the Windrunner would win. Now I'm imagining Kaladin and Vin fighting in Newcago and Vin winning almost immediately.
  4. Half of everything Hoid says counts as this. The other half is complete absurdity. Sometimes I have trouble figuring out which is which. Also, this quote "Contradictions. Those were what made people real. " -Shallan, WoR Ch. 78
  5. You're the only person I know of who needs an excuse to ship two characters.
  6. Would the teams have to be actual teams from books? Or could we pair up characters who have never met?
  7. Forgery works by changing small things about something's past in subtle ways to change its current attributes. I'd imagine Snapping/unSnapping someone with a Soulstamp would still be easier than changing their sDNA. There's also the issue that Sel's magic is geography based. The farther you go from the country the less effective it is.
  8. Tough, but I have to go with Vasher. It would be a vety close fight though.
  9. Could you forge someone with Allomantic potential who hadn't Snapped and change their history so that they had? Or do the opposite to someone who is an Allomancer?
  10. Shallan's eyes are blue, and the Lightweaver's stone is a garnet. Although I suppose maybe since she was already a Lighteyes, her eye color didn't change to that of her order.
  11. I think Jasnah covering her safehand in the Cognitive realm has more to do with propriety than anything spiritual. She is, after all, a princess, and she would have been expected to be proper from a very young age.things like always wearing a covering her safehand were likely just second nature to her. I suspect that the reason for safehands are less spiritual and more mundane. It was another way to try and keep women away from Shardblades. We know there were female KR who fought; now women don't fight. Yhe male arts are the ones that involve weapons. Only being able to use one hand would put anyone at a disadvantage during a fight. Does anyone remember if the women in Dalinar's visions have their safehands covered? That could help us figure out when it started, if not why.
  12. Granted. You lose all memory of Sanderson's books and are stuck listening to them talk about the awesomeness you can never again enjoy. I wish my mind had access to the Internet.
  13. Do we know who wrote the letter in WoR? Reading the letters makes me think that it might be Harmony. These are my reasons. 1.Hoid says they are now immortal. They were not always immortal, but they became so. 2."Ali was once a kind and generous man, and you saw what became of him" this sentence seems to imply that the person receiving the letter knew Ruin and saw the destruction he caused firsthand. 3. The writer says our inheiritence right after a sentence about Adonalsium. This seems to imply that the writer is a Shardholder. 4. The writer talks about things being in equilibrium. Harmony is the balance of two opposing ideas.
  14. If the Parshendi have gemhearts, how come the Alethi didn't notice after killing them for six years? Gemhearts seem to be the only thing most of the Highprinces want. How come Bridge 4 didn't notice any when they were in the chasms cutting of the armor of the dead Parshendi?
  15. I agree. We know his mother died when Adolin was 13. I suspect that Adolin never properly dealt with his grief. He had to bury his emotions to take care of his younger brother and a father devastated by his wife's death. He became the man of the household before he was ready. In my opinion, this is why he clings to parental figures so much.
  16. You must be a strong Rithmatic line because your shape is perfect.
