    I think that you actually could heal the birth defect foot, hypothetically. And I see no conflict between using gold to extend life and using atium. TLR may have used gold compounding to offset the need to tap atium a bit. But only a bit.

    So, to sum up, Kaladin is the Alethi version of racist, he is probably justified in this opinion though it is wrong, and don't downvote posts you don't agree with.

    You didn't misunderstand. Now that I think about it, to quote The Princess Bride, "He's only mostly dead." Pattern immediately disappeared from the safe, returning to wherever he was before. He 'died' shortly after, apparently still bonded to Shallan.

    I think that we will have a better idea once we learn what exactly caused the orders to fall. We still have little idea.

    Not unless you have an extremely absurd amount of bendalloy, a Bendalloy Misting, and the materials to make steel and zinc Compounders wouldn't hurt.

    I told someone earlier today that Morzathoth was the creepiest person on the Shard, do I need to go back to them and correct myself?

    It does, but it may be more to do with the velocity already achieved by the artificial gravity than maintaining a Surgebinding.

    This got me thinking: who's to say that Marvel isn't Cosmere? Infinity stones are like underpowered Shards, and one can even allow worldhopping.

    But isn't it plausible that Wayne could mix and match voices as well? Correcting myself, I'm sure he can and does do accents, but does he also perfectly mimic people's voices, and use his arsenal of accents to mix and match the rest? The main reason I ask is because in AoL, Wayne impersonates an old woman, and does a good enough job of 'her' voice to remain inconspicuous until he asked too many questions.

    Throughout AoL, SoS, and presumably BoM, we are told that Wayne can do impeccable accents. But are they really accents? Does he mimic people's voices, or just their accents? It's a subtle difference, but it is there.
