My point is that stormform is a Voidbringer form despite it not being a part Voidbinding in response to you saying that stormform is not a Voidbringer form because we WoB saying we have not seen Voidbinding.
-
The point I was trying to make is that there is a difference between "magic that is part of a formal magic system" and "magic that is part of nature". Yes the listener forms are "magical" but they are not a magic system. Formal magic systems (as far as we know) require the presence of a Shard (or Adonalsium) "magic that is part of nature" doesn't (see the Aviar of First of the Sun).
-
We really can't say that? WoB is that we have not seen Voidbinding, i.e. the magic system, but listener forms are not a magic system they are a part of listener biology. To be clear the WoB is that a character does not have to be alive to receive a flashback sequence. Referring to that as simply "a PoV chapter" is potentially confusing to new members.

It doesn't. It takes place on a far-future Earth and Earth is not a part of the cosmere.

So last month for my birthday I ordered two signed books and they just recently arrived. Question: To what extent do the Shades of Threnody remember their lives? Silence’s grandmother appears to recognize her but on the whole Shades don’t really act like people. Kelsier however, the other main example of a Cognitive shadow, seems little altered from his living state. Answer: Shades of Threnody are not as self-aware as other shadows.

So last month for my birthday I ordered two signed books and they just recently arrived. Question: While imprisoned Kaladin encounters a strange type of spren described as “taut wires crossing before him”. When I first read this I instantly thought of the captivityspren Axies is searching for, so I was surprised when someone asked you about it and you were reported as saying they are not captivityspren. What kind of spren is it then? Answer: I must have misunderstood. Those were captivityspren. So it is nice to have this resolved, I always did find that report unsatisfying.

The Splintercast Reads Mistborn: Secret History, Episode 4
WeiryWriter commented on FeatherWriter's article in Shardcast
Oh the pain when I remember that this week's episode isn't until Saturaday... And if he is using his original bones (which I'm not totally sure of, but I'm unwilling to decide either way yet) I would say there would definitely be some gold Feruchemy going on but I really don't know. I have no specific questions or topics, I just can't wait for Edgedancer.- 17 comments

My apologies I thought I mentioned this in my first post, but we do have WoB (I just didn't have it accessible at the moment): It's also important to note that most listener forms are asexual in nature (which really isn't that conducive to making babies) mateform and "slaveform" are exceptions to that.
-
No parshmen are not all dullform, they have no form (though they are sometimes referred to as "slaveform"). The thing to keep in mind is that the forms are specializations, mateform is not the only form that can breed, it's just the best at it, in the same way that a workform could swing a sword but warform is better at combat.

The Splintercast Reads Mistborn: Secret History, Episode 4
WeiryWriter commented on FeatherWriter's article in Shardcast
Yeah Critical Role! Also, Spook spiking himself felt totally in character for him to me ('cause he's an idiot). We also know that Kelsier's bones survived through Harmony's Ascension.- 17 comments

The Aimian we see in the Rysn interlude in WoR is a Siah Aimian, not a Dysian Aimian (it's actually Axies).

That is incorrect, Snapshot will not be released until 2017. Brandon has not yet decided what he will include but it will likely either be an excerpt/interlude from Stormlight 3 or a deleted sequence from a past book (which is what he did for Unfettered I).

Those are larkin.

Expanding book summaries into synopses?
WeiryWriter replied to Zedseayou's topic in The Coppermind Wiki
Thanks for considering helping the wiki, any help is much appreciated. Just to make sure you are talking about these pages and not the short summaries on the book pages themselves? In which case they should be more in-depth than the short summaries on the book pages but they should not be quite as blow-by-blow as the imdb summaries. We (or at least I) are considering doing individual summary pages for certain books (Words of Radiance is sort of acting as a pilot program for this) which would be the place for a blow-by-blow summary. -
So on twitter Brandon has confirmed that it should be out around Christmastime. There is also this thread on reddit that both Brandon and Peter have commented in, Isaac is currently working on the art gallery. Plus there will be new pieces of art!

Reckoners book 4 theories (if there is one)
WeiryWriter replied to HonorIsDead's topic in The Reckoners
Brandon has mentioned the possibility of doing another trilogy set in the same world as The Reckoners, and that it would focus on Mizzy as a main character but that, if it even happens, would be quite a ways off. However Brandon has announced that his next teen series (the first book of which will probably be out 2018-ish) will take place in the same multiverse as The Reckoners and will dig deeper on the nature of Calamity (or rather the beings like him) and of the greater multiverse as well. It's called The Apocalypse Guard. -
Two confusions about the Elantris books
WeiryWriter replied to Amaror's topic in Elantris and Emperor's Soul
Let's just say that the followers of Shu-Dereth and Shu-Korath have an inflated opinion of themselves. Take this map for example, the Rose Empire is only obliquely mentioned as the "Rose barbarians" and Peter (I believe) has confirmed that region is actually larger than the rest of the map. I remember at one point Brandon was asked about this and he said the rest of the world just kind of views them as "those crazy religious people" and ignores them. As for the whole awakening of Jaddeth thing they are pretty much just talking about that continent (plus Teod). Raoden didn't really "fix" AonDor, he just figured out what changed and how it works now. What that line in the earth did (presuming you are referring to the events of the climax) is fix the Aon made by the city of Elantris itself and it's four gate cities which acts as a sort of power amplifier. -
I'm not sure I agree with you here that there is contradicting. He says that each book will focus on an Order, he does /not/ say that there will be 10 major Knight (or at least I can't recall anything to that effect).

It's not going to be released:

Hey great news everyone, the Mistborn: House War Kickstarter reached 250,000 USD earlier this morning which means Crafty Games will begin development on Mistborn: The Siege of Luthadel! They've also announced a surprise stretch goal to add a new card to the game. And fans of the cosmere will be pleased to here that there will be a Hoid card, though it's not exactly clear if it will be in the base game or be available some other way. In other news a new novella by Brandon has been announced. It is called Snapshot and a print run will be released by Vault books in February 2017. Here is the description given by Vault Books: Brandon actually released the beginning of an early draft of this story several months ago to patrons of the Writing Excuses Patreon and also read from it at the release signing for the first volume of White Sand: Edit: Tor.com has also just posted an interview with Shawn Speakman, editor of the Unfettered II anthology which confirms that Brandon will be including a story in it. It says that Brandon is still deciding exactly what he will be including but the anthology will be released this November!

Brandon has said that while each book will focus on a character via flashbacks and will also each focus on an Order of Knights Radiant, the character will not always be a member of the Order: Questioner What are the other books in The Stormlight Archive going to be about? Brandon Sanderson Well each one is going to cover a flashback sequence for one of the characters and each one will focus on a different order of the Knights Radiant. And that's not always the same, like the flashbacks for the first one were Kaladin and it was also Windrunners, but we won't always have them be the exact same.
