  1. Yes probably you may use A-Pewter to store some extra Speed (F-Steel), Healing (F-gold) and maybe Mental Speed (F-Zinc). Of course this kind of "fast storage" is linear (depend by your ability to burn metals) while the standard Compound become exponential until you reach your limit.
  2. sure As far as we can extrapolate from the books, Ym was a possible candidate for both Edgedancer and Truthwatcher orders...Wyndle himself considerate to bond with Ym. But the bosses sent him to the crazy girl with the Mother's blessing, so a Truthwatcher's spren took him instead
  3. Ym is confirmed to be a Truthwatcher therefore his Spren could not be Wylde...much more Lift is already bond with her Spren when Ym died
  4. Nale knows better than any other main character what Stormlight and Surges may do. If he want you dead...you die. He is too devoted to his duty to leave a survival margin. Simply waiting for 5 seconds would probably be enough to avoid any kind of problems...I find very unlikely he didn't take some precaution aganist Stormlight's healing (if it's possible at all to recover from a Shardblade's kill with Stormlight's healing)
  5. Actually Grandmother goes berserk if blood is shed. She simply doesn't specifically attack Silence...never. I talked about fresh Shades because for the Shades' standard 10-15 years seems to be not much. Actually there may be many Shades like Grandmother in the Forests...it's really hard (or impossible) to understand their weirdness (it's very unlikely that a Shade with a specific "untouchable person" will meet that person. Imagine if Silence didn't trapped Grandmother and instead GM Shade is free in the Forests....how unlikely a possible meeting with Silence is ? Turning into a Shade is described like a tomour forgery....your Soul is actually overwritten, so it's possible the process isn't real finished when the Shade "spawn" and it tooks years to be actually complete
  6. The fact is....as far as I understood the Soul doesn't reach the Beyond, it's the Mind who reaches the Beyond and the Soul's Investiture is recycled and return to his Source. This mean Hemalurgy didn't affect the "Human's eternal part" and instead some may argue that Hemalurgy preserves a Soul (or part of it) when instead it would be completely destroyed
  7. I stopped my reading of LoP to an early stage because I know if I will read it. I will base some of my conclusions on a uncanon material (like happened with White Sand) but I could only took the WoBs I may find: or Notice also that an Magic made Human is still an Human...almost all the Cosmere's Humans are made by Adonalsium with magic, others are made by Shards (for example all the Scadrial people), so the "uterous-born human" is really a less important factor than you assume.
  8. I don't know...Kandra has not problem with hair for an Hemalurgic reason. Simply theit body control (inherit from the Mistwrath) is only flesh modification...they didn't have neither bone or fur ability. About the Koloss, honestly I never considerate the fact...In my mind I see the koloss with hair, but I don't think it's never stated somewhere. So probably you have right...the koloss are bald. It's have to note that Koloss are deeply twisted by Hemalurgy...while Inquisitors are less physical twisted. PS: Notice we see people with three Spikes without any kind of hair problem...so unless the fourth Spike cause the hairloss, I can't see a direct correlation Number of Spikes->Hairlost
  9. So I become a Twinborn...I imagine Coinshot-Zinch or Coinshot-Copper are quite cool
  10. Hoid is (or was) Human, a regular Yolish Human, now its something different but He is born as a Human, we have Wob and some uncanon material about (Liar of the Partinel)
  11. It's possible Marsh see himself as an Inquisitor (for the old times) and everytime he taps F-Gold He is restored to his hairless status. It's also possible the Inquisitor at all has not hairgrow...because if I don't remember wrong, all the Ruin's Inquisitors are bald...and I don't think Ruin cared about their look
  12. I actually think the only-allomancy-compound is possible (called in another places "pseudo-Compound") and someone think we have already see it with Bleeder and his F-Steel and A-Steel Spikes. @hwilesthe problem here it's about two different things. Identity is defined as a resonance who allow Investiture to interact with other Investiture without the standard Inferference...this happen naturally all the time with Human's Soul and its parts. A metalmind without Intentity (unkeyed) simply didn't start interference with no one. But the ability to tap/store isn't in the metalmind, but in the ferring. A metalmind is simply a store from Investiture. If you have some other way to magical interac with metal you will be able to interact with a Metalmind once you bypass with Identity. Therefore a Coinshoot would be able to burn a unkeyed Steelmind for a pseudo compound. Ok I was searching for a WoB about an Augur and a Goldmind...but I found something better:
  13. There are problems to considerate Alluminium a god metal. 1) It is everywhere, also in place completely built by Shards (Scadrial) 2) the alluminium seems to be completely immune to Investiture while godmetals didn't show any kind of Investiture Interference (you can push/pull on Atium and something like that) 3) it's stated that all the metals exept the Atium acts like key to tap Preservation's power...so all the other metals are mundane metals. 4) Harmony didn't wrote nothing about, if it was something "alien" I imagine he would work on the matter. 5) You could Soulcast something into Alluminium, it's stated you may Soulcast something into Atium...but this would need an Hellish amount of Investiture, if an ordinary Soulcaster may performe the casting with a gem's Stormlight this would quite disprove the idea of Alluminium as godmetal. I remain of the idea of some Spiritual weirdness with the Alluminium who allows it to be a strange matter for the Investiture to interact (I still think of an "Spiritual emptiness" but the proofs are really circumstantial )
  14. I think nobody asked...but based on other Realmatic interaction of the Atium (Atium doesn't act as High Invested) I would say that a Shardblade could cut through godmetals (at least for how they manifest on Scadrial...A godmetal made by a great amount of concentrate Investiture would stop it)
  15. From what we saw Nightblood feeds only from his weilder not from his target. Also because Vasher would say it while he kills the Lifeless in the Court of the Gods About his efficiency in warfare....We don't know if some of his late ability may influence area instead of a single target.
  16. Brandon was so kind to reply to my answer about Shardblades and Alluminium: Q: Hi, the Comunity has a doubt, We have two WoB: Shardblades cut Alluminium Shardblades can't cut it Witch one is true one? A: Hm. Yes, I wondered last night if I'd ever answered this before. Truth is, the answer is contentious at Team Sanderson. A: I've been pushing for one answer, but Peter (whom I trust) is pushing back. We will see what ends up in the books as canon. A: Problem with magic like I do is sometimes you have to wait for the scientific consensus... Err on "no" for now So for now there is a no canon answer because honestly even God doesn't know
  17. I suppose we have to check how much damage Nightblood may do with his cover on. Because everytime he was used, the damage are quite insane for a weapon of his kind and no edge (with the cover). Someone weilding Nightblood is capable of piercing his own chest (skin, muscles, bone)...this say something about his efficiency as weapon (without requite Investiture)
  18. @Belzedar's points are valid. There is no reason for a vengeance with Leras's death. About Senna to be Trell (whatever the reason she have to attack Scadrial)...She have to be Cultivation, it's the only Shard without a know Vessel's name that could fit the "a shard we know of"
  19. Older Shades began to lose their standard form so probably you will be unable to know what it was a Shades as a living being. Notice also there are probably too many Shades if they were made only by Human in 80 years.
  20. Grandma-Shade isn't "stronger" or anything like that...It's just fresh (for a standard Shades) and some part of her aren't erased yet. This would happen to any other fresh Shades, simply usually it is hard to make a specific fresh Shades meets someone important in his life
  21. Probably you have right (but for the specific nature of the Dor I am not so sure), the thing I want to say is that to use Selish Magic off-world it is not a simply fact of connection to Sel or change Forms (indeed your Connection to Arelon or any other area didn't change of strenght when you are there or when you are off world)
  22. This is bein RAFOed several Time...of course we need to see it on screen but I think he may really shatter a Shardblade and hurt the Spren. This is quite false or at least not a logic implication. Nightblood's command is "destroy evil" but is has no understanding of what is evil and what not (to be honest it's a meaningless definition at all also for a fully developed human being) so it choose what is evil with its own criteria...Nightblood has not an "Intuitive Evil detector", it simply use a raw selection for possible weilder and once the weilder is choose. Nightblood simply trust of weilder's judgement. As last point, Nightblood's power become greater as much Investiture consumes. We actually never see what kind of effects Nightblood may starts if it is deeply feeded....Vasher maybe did, and he was afraid of what he saw
  23. @Argent I just tried to ask him a clarification about Shardblade-Alluminium relationship on Twitter. I hope he will be so nice to answer, usually He doesn't deny a clarification when his words are misunderstood. I will update you here if he decide to reply
  24. Same here, I buy the e-book version and then the paper version when the book will be release in my language (Here we are still waiting from Shadows of Self)
  25. There was a retcon but this doesn't change nothing of the in-book material. Before the retcon: - Hoid was with the Terrismen because He went to Terris to find the Well of Ascension (He as almost everyone was tricked by TLR's changes of landscape) and He was struck in the Inquisitors' attac and He help the Terrismen to run away. Then he discover (thanks to Elend) that the Well is in the city and he worldhop there to arrive in the Well before Vin. But while Brandon was checking some continuity's events, he notice Hoid could not worldhop to the Well when Elend informed it (because Kelsier destroyed the other Scadrial's perpendicularity), so He retcon the events. After the retcon: - Hoid visits the Well some days before Vin, then He went to Terris for some other affair and he remained struck by the Inquisitor's attack
