At least F-Steel and A-Steel and also an unknown attribute used to made the Chimeras. It's also likely that Set's Spikes are made of Trellium and therefore also F-Gold and A-Chromium....Of course my "could steal everything" could be too much, but there are clues about this possibility. Really ? Interesting, I remember only the Spike-thing and the fact Rashek heard Ruin's voice...So my idea was that all the Atium may work as Spike and Rashek was forced to accept a bit of Ruin's annoyance to keep the Atiuminds safe. Understood. But in the case of Lerasium-rewriting the Spiritweb is actual forged, while with the Atium-Cup-Paste you actually can't obtain something not already in someone else spiritweb. So in theory you may steal "Connection to Ruin" (or to Preservation to be honest) from someone to gift it to a reciver and the reciver has a greater connection to Ruin thanks to Hemalurgy (notice that this may be performed probably with a dedicated metal not only with Atium.
-
As Spoolowhool said Hemalurgy didn't rewrite Spirit Web. Notice that also Trellium's Spike may steal everything (there is a theory about "all Godmetal's Spike steal everything but with some peculiar extra"). Notice that ironically usually use Hemalurgy to gift Allomancy may give to the reciver more Connection with Preservation throught the stolen's soul...So it's possible to gain more Connection to Ruin,Preservation or others with Hemalurgy but it's not something strictly relate to Atium. I have a theory that Atium also in a natural state works like a Spike with a very weak charge but there is no proof for now (except that TLR's Atiuminds were Spikes other than Metalminds), I tried to ask this to Brandon in his recently update, but He skipped my message unluckly.
-
But the Lerasium "stronger connection to Preservation" happen because it's the Lerasium's effect (rewrite Spirit Web) and without specific istruction the Lerasium expend itself in this "default rewrite". Like a specific and default istance of the power. Atium on another side didn't have any relationship with rewrite spirit web, I hardly could see this works....Maybe there is an alloy Atium-Lerasium to performe this task. For now the only know Atium's side effect is the ability to find easily the Hemalurgic Binds Spots...But it's an effect shared with everything that give you acess to the Spiritual Realm (this for WoB)

I imagine depend on the Shardworld. "Airport" on the CR's border is quite unpratical there is too space to monitor. Instead an "airport" where the Perpendicularities are, is very likely...and in some shardworld already happened (for example The Pits of Hatsin were a famous commercial route and there are structure to help the worldhoppers who made the transition. It's an instintive thing....For example Harmony fel this name right (and he is a mixed intent). For a standard Vessel the Intent would be very "clear"...after all its some kind of compulsion on your own Mind. I considerate this of a couple of seconds, but actually Stormlight's propriety can't actually be matched with any real gas as for example the Mist can't be compared to real gass either. I imagine a Dysian Aimians may boost his intellect with a specific grown of his Hordelings, so it's possible there are Spy-Sleepless and 1-2 Elaboration-Sleepless to put at work the whole informations gathered.

As other already said, Nightblood is already equal to a living spren. About your "weild its self out of the sword". The Sword is Nightblood's body and it see himself as a sword, I don't think is possible to Nighblood to change this...other than rip apart Nightblood itself (probably undoing the Awakening)
-
how was aimia invaded in the first place?
Yata replied to king of nowhere's topic in Stormlight Archive
Well first of all, we don't actually know how many Aimians lived there before the Scouring. Long lived (or immortal) species usually are not really fertile. So maybe there were something like 100 Aimians originally....of course we don't know enough about their biology so say something in this context. Anyway the Sleepless (and maybe also the Axies's type) are really defenseless aganist fire. A legion of soldier with too oil may burn the whole island down and reduce the Aimians' popolation a lot (also a single Soulcaster may be used to create in place great amount of oil...or directly fire) -
Theory: Elantrians are Cognitive Shadows [AU, SH, BoM spoilers]
Yata replied to Khyrindor's topic in Cosmere Discussion
thanks Khyrindor for the question (and the answer)...I am glad to see my view about Soul/Cognitive Shadow/Investiture is actually correct- 19 replies

I always had the idea that not every Breath is equal, they are quite the same (statistically speaking) but there are people with more or less Investiture in their original Breath...the individual Breath's strenght become quite meaningless in Awakening because you need to stack a lot of Breath to performe quite every thing To me, Siri and Vivienna's Breath is more powerful than the average but not too much, something like they have naturally 2,3 or 5 Breath-worth Investiture in their Breath. Nothing so explicit but enough to give a little margin on the others.

Just a detail, there aren't many Hero of Ages in the Terris's Prophecies. There are many Heroes who periodically are called to the well for different reasons, the last of this Heroes is the Hero of Ages. But returning to the main point, yes Preservation made the Propechy thanks to his future sight, the prophecies were made including almost all the Ruin's actions into them. So also the Ruin's interference/twist was still part of Preservation's plan. Preservation was far better than Ruin at future sight

Like our wise Vodius said, an human from another Shardworld would have an amount of Investiture in his soul between a Drab and a regular 1Breath Nalthian guy. For example we have some Wobs that say something like "an Human with a part of his Soul removed, would mostly dies but if he manage to survive He will be a Drab-like's being" (I removed the reference to others books' facts to avoid the spoiler tag). If an no Nalthis Human with a piece of his soul's ripped out is something like a Drab, before the ripping he was much more than a Drab

Do You mean that someone turns into an Elantrian when He become a "dor savant" ? If this is your point, I honestly don't agree with this point. The Shaod is a too on/off event

I talked about the member of the Royal family: - who didn't show Royal Locks because they aren't in the Direct line. - develop them when they become of the Direct line - lost them when they are no longer in the Direct line. Almost all this cases may be explained with "your manifestation of Royal Locks is based by your Mental Image of yourself and the Royal Locks as proof of your role" I think every other Returned's baby will have this kind of ability if not educated to prevent this (or the opposite, where every Returned's babdy may develop Royal Locks with the right education)

[Theory]Reason why Odium can Splinter other Shards
Yata replied to Temerius's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Here it's hard to say, because we don't know how the Shattering happened. The Shards were pure at the beginning and the Intent cames like a taint with their first Vessels ? Or Adonalsium splits his power into 16 Intents and simply the best of the 16 Vessels took the more compatible shard? In the first case, we have probably 16 perfect Vessels from the beginning, in the second one...The Vessels may be not so fitting with the shards.- 25 replies

Actually Steel Feruchemy protect you "only" (but it's a big thing) from the acceleration, you will burn if you go too fast.
-
@teknopathetic I think all the Returned Children have this "ability" that manifest the Royal Locks, but their education teaches them "only the direct in line obtain the Locks" and their Cognitive Image adapt to this...they can't use the Locks, because they think in that way.

Yes as Landis said, the Spikes will probably scary the Spren and avoid the Bonding...anyway also if a BraveSpren bond with him, I don't think a Spren may become a ShardSkeleton (multiple and mobile parts), but nice concept
-
Probably (but not confirmed) also the Elantrian develop some form of savantism, they are expose constantly to a fierce force of investiture (Dor) and the Soul may be twisted by this....after all "Elantrian's life is stressful"
-
Also Frost said something like " Rayse is captive. He cannot leave the system he now inhabits. His destructive potential is, therefore, inhibited "

Actually we don't know how much of white sand is "sand" and how much is "lichen"...if the Sand's mass is most lichen the Slatrification may works in that way

[Theory]Reason why Odium can Splinter other Shards
Yata replied to Temerius's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I disagree, the Vessel is twisted by the Intent threfore also a bad Vessel would become a great/perfect Vessel for the Shard after some amount of time. After 10k years all the original Vessels are probably perfect Vessels for their Shards regardless of their original personality- 25 replies

Odium is another kind of being. A web very large may stop a Shard but let small being free to move. Much more, as far as I know Odium isn't trapped on Braize, He simply chose to stay there. He is trapped inside the Great Roshar System
-
Yesterday I was with a friend in a pub and I proposed him this racing-dilemma. He is a physicist and I imagined he may see this problem better. To him the Steelrunner wins ALWAYS because over a certain speed the sliding Edgedancer can't add new force/speed without restrain his own speed with the friction of the body part used to "accelerate"
-
Actually the Odium and Ruin cases are extremely different. - Ruin strictly speaking wasn't imprisoned, simply Preservation's power automatically counter every action Ruin tried to take. This is "Ruin's prison". Also the risk of release every 1024 isn't stricly part of the "prison" simply Preservation's power understand an user who give away the Well's power as "give it to ruin" and as "I am done with my job" and the auto-counter stops. - Odium is harder to understand, we don't know actually how he is bound, but remember Odium isn't trapped on Braize. Odium is trapped inside Great Roshar's System and choose to stay on Braize...probably after thousands of years, He will find hard leave that Planet, but the same thing happen to every other Shards who remain long in a place.
