  1. Well creating a planet Preservation & Ruin will bound to Scadrial very deeply... Probably without destroing (and retriving their Investiture, they can't leave). This is a plausible answer, but I think there is more: To me Preservation wanted to create Scadrial to have a planet with a "physical" Focus and the result was Scadrial with its metals. I think Preservation made this because he need a magic compatible to his own plan and some who give to the people (far away in the future pawns) a way to debilitate Ruin. With enough Future Sight He could point exactly to the type of world needed to his great Plan. And creates it without much trouble
  2. The prophecy were indead left by Leras-Preservation. He left a series of prophecy to the Terrismen as a measure to keep his MASTERPLAN (Yeah I need to write it in this way, it's thousands of years or plan after all) about how manage the Ruin's danger to the Cosmere. If I remeber right the Terris's Prophecies talk about a series of Hero who in different time will help Scadrial...Probably there is one or two Hero before Rashek's time, I am not sure about because we don't know how old is Scadrial. Anyway every 1024 years someone reached the Well and remake the Ruin's prison....but many was lost during and after the Deepness
  3. Actually we don't know enough to say if the Shattering of Adonalium required tons of power or not... We don't even know how the magic works pre-shattering
  4. You may have more than 2 surges but they still "arrive" with the standard pairs. and to be honest you may bond with multiple Spren and obtain the same effect (also if it is extreme difficoult). Both Honorblade and Nahel Bond give to you. the same Magic System, The surgebinding, also if maybe the Honorblade may be some kind of hybrid between Surgebinding and Fabrial magic system (in the same way as a Spike with a Coinshot power is both Hemalurgy and Allomancy I suppose).
  5. Of course I didn't mean that the keeper may remeber all the Informations, was just a method to erase their Coppermind. But probably they may not know about the Hemalurgy and of course they can't think to erase their Coppermind.
  6. I too think there are completely separate "Arts".... It's not like the kind of Forgery of Mai-Pon and the Rose Empire that are both Forgery but used in different "specific way". Maybe they seems similar because the culture of the two countries have a lot of common part...But I find it unlikely
  7. Yeah, like Landis said. That woman wasn't Jasnah, She is a character from White Sand. Anyway the Alethi haven't dark skin and I suppose that any Roshar people off-world would be easy to spot for their peculiar eyes (unless the Shin of course)
  8. I have not a sure answer. But a Shardpool have to form on Shardworld to the presence of a Shard. His position probably isn't random but it will surelly follow some pattern about how the Shard's Investiture goes to the Shardworld. Therefore a Shard may probably know where his Shardpool will spawn and if He desire, change something in the Shardworld (Invest more or less in some area) to make the Pool spawn in a specific place. (Like changing the variables used by the Shardpool's patter)
  9. Yeah and The Inquisitor be able to access the Victim's Metalmind isn't something sure when You spike a Feruchemist, it's probably happen but it's not sure. Without think about that a Feruchemist may erase his own Coppermind to avoid something like that.... (he have to tap all the coppermind quite simple)
  10. There are more theories, i wil try to remember the mayor ones: - Surpassing a certain treeshold with Preservation Investiture and Ruin Investiture (this is the mine, you may find it in my signature) - Tapping from Lerasium (with this Theory the Lerasium works lite "Eternal Metalmind" and anyone who tap it recive Feruchemy) - Burning Lerasium to rewrite your Spirit web with Feruchemy, of course not the default outcome - Born and rise between the 2 Shards' Shardpool (Terris was quite near both the Well and the Pit) I don't remember any others, of course none of them have any king of confermation from books or WoB.
  11. they had other priority than waste a Feruchemist to obtain a Spike (and I think that a Feruchemist will erase his Coppermind to avoid something like that)
  12. Yeah both the outcome are possible, but I was thinking: If It's possible storing all your Determination, to became so Apathetic that you can't generate the "Cognitive component" to made a Magic System works.
  13. Well I see the Blackthorn more as a furious Berserker than a genius warrior... To me now, without the Thrill many Alethi will have some problem to fight.
  14. Well if for example the bond gift some combat experience (like Kaladin) a proto-radiant is a good fighter... but I suppose they would be trained by some Complete KR to progress in their Oaths and became a One-man-Army for the future battles
  15. You may actually have right, I missed this possibility but it is quite possible. Nice catch! Also if now I though about, it's possible the opposite.... Animal Attribute on Human...
  16. I misread his post... doh
  17. My atoms are quite 13,7 billions years old... but in my current incarnation I suppose I have to say 25, 26 at July.
  18. Maybe in the Mag, because in the Books I am sure you gain all the power of a Ferring through a Spike. Without this Marsh can't compound youth to stay alive during Wax & Wayne Era. End we know the Inquisitor may use their Spike as Metalmind therefore they are able to store attribute and create new metalmind (We need a word for a Spike+Metalmind ...SpikeMind ? )
  19. Well we have the Ruin's Shardpool during Mistborn trilogy (Vessel ok, Shard not splintered), the Well of Ascension (Vessel quite dead, Shard not Splintered), the Elantris's "quite surelly Devotion" Pool (Vessel death, Shard splintered), We saw also at least once (or maybe two) Shardpool on Roshar and one of the Shard is dead&splintered while the other is living and whole (yeah if both of them aren't Shardpools this "proof" worth nothing). Also with Nalthis we have an indirect proof of the Endowment's Shardpool presence (Vessel lives and Shard whole). There are also a Wob (but at the moment I can't find it) about the Shardpool as place where some Investiture of Shard slowly accumulates... I have a Theory about but without proofs is meaningless to write here.
  20. Actually they said that the Sovreign left them something and once they have it, the Southern begin to undertand how to create Medallions. Some say the Sovreign take with him some Feruchemist and this gave through some bloodline Feruchemy to the Southern. Others talk about some Inquisitor's Spikes. There are many possible explainations. I actually think, that he left somekind of Nicrosil+Alluminium Medallion-Device (probably without Medallion shape) and with those devices. Any Metalborn within the Southern (are very rare but not impossible) became capable to creates medallions with they own powers... This of course don't remove the problem of Feruchemy's Source of the Southern.
  21. Well without talk about Ethics... in the Roshar's Scenario.. there are reasons to send child in battle if they are Surgebinders... They probably with a little training be more usefull than a small-medium unit of regolar Soldiers. Anyway in one of the Dalinar's Vision we saw two KR recluting him and send him to "training".... If this is the standard method...any actual Surgebinder will recive an elite trainer I suppose.
  22. Harmony's gift (yeah I find it very unlikely) Anyway in 300 years a new Harmony's Shardpool may have begun to spawn somewhere on Scadrial... it's indeed possible.
  23. If they exist in the first place, they will be destroyed now. If you alter the composition of a "Metallic Arts"'s Metal it will lose it's Feruchemical Charge... If TLR used some Atium Alloy, its power would vanish once separated and we know they have dismounted the Rashek Metalmind to recover any trace of Atium... I find unlikely they didn't try to melt everything to try to find some other bit of Atium. Therefore if the Bands was actually real, now there are just some kind of metal trash (with or without their original Charge)
  24. A am not sure about this... the Hemalurgy steals a piece of Spirit Web and I find unlikely that while you are burning (or tapping/storing) something your Spirit-Web changes. To me your spirit web simply have a signature like "this guy are quite strong"... and when you remove this "signature" as cascade effect your physical aspect slowly try to adapt to the new status. Of course when you add this "signature" to another guy in the right place, his Spiritual aspect is something like "this guy is strong, this guy is strong" (yes a Spike may add a comma ) and the Physical aspect tries to adjust itself. When you are burning pewter instead you overcharge your body without touch your Spiritual Aspect...or at least I suppose
