yeah all the actual Kandra are something between 300 and 1000 years old(the 3rd generation like TenSoon) and they could make new Kandra (If they may give life to new Mistwraths) but they need to murder people to creates Spikes for the new ones. They can't re-use old Spikes and Harmony don't want them killing people (also if I think about some cases that Harmony may approve) anyway tha Kandra are at the moment a species pointed to the exstintion. Slowly but it's their fates without any kind of change.

If I remember right the Seon with their incomplete Aon will face an unpleasure effect if they try to "finalizate it" ... Therefore probably a Seon may use a kind of limited AonDor with his own Aon but without the new line this don't work at the best or may harm the seon.

The Ruin & Preservation destruction came only by their opposite intent, other Shards haven't probably the same problem. You may see it for example in Roshar, where there are Spren made by H&C Investiture or on Sel where the Dor is a merging of D&D's Investiture. I have to read again your post some other times but also if Hoid is an Artificial being (and if I remember right we have a WoB who identifies him as a originally an Human), there isn't any proof or clue for another magic power other than Investiture.

It's impossible both Vax and Scadrial were used in the Elantris's Ars Arcanum.

We may try to ask if the other Splintered Shard was the only Shard in his/her Shardworld

We don't know if Threnody Silver has something special... without this information we may speculate with very little precision

I am not about the matching Shard-Metal ... I will try to give my little help: Honor - Durallumin (Connection is more of Honor) or Iron (both for Pull together things and the Weight-Gravity relationship) Preservation - Gold (Healing, preserve an Ideal version of yourself) Ruin - Electrum (it's a bit less rigid but you actually may see the entropy generate by yourself) It's also the complement to gold, but I don't think this thought may be apply. Devotion: Tin (the extra "feel" fit well with the idea of love). Dominion: Pewter (Strenght, Dominion is mainly controll/unity through Strenght). Cultivation: Zinc (A shard with an Improvement like Intent fits well with Mental Speed and Riot emotion) or Electrum but i used for another Endowment: Nicrosil (the whole "spread the power") Autonomy: Bendalloy (Nutrition, fit well with Autonomy concept) Odium: Steel (the push away things) Survival Shard: Copper (I don't know why, just an idea of mind.... ignore it XD) But Actually I don't like my own matching

Shardpools actualy are created by the presence of a Shard, with or without Vessel.... The reason for the Pit and Well currenty situation is quite a Mystery...maybe just a new Shardpool related to Harmony are spawning somewhere on Scadrial.

Maybe really he wanted to remove any catastrophic enemy in the future, and He accepted the risk to attack multiple Shards (also if we have no proof of collaboration between Devotion and Dominion for example). Maybe from his point of view be imprisoned on Roshar for millenia was worthy the Honor's Splinterer. Without thinking about some Shards are unable to fight off an damage/hurt Odium.

At that time Harmony was re-making the world and the Cognitive Realm itself was a bit strange for the Heavy use of power... Maybe it was similar of the Vax's Cognitive Realm. Or maybe simply Ati lost the controll of Ruin on Vax and when he died and spawn on the Cognitive he himself thought to be still on Vax.

He often say that depend how you "count them" ... For example is Surgebinding a Magic System or are 10 magic systems (one for order or maybe counting the surges) ? Recently himself said that on Roshar there are 3 magic systems properly: Surgebinding, Voidbinding, Fabrial (he added also the Old magic but he said "it's a weird thing" and probably doens't count it). Probably the counting of 30 was about the single power, like you may count Allomancy like a Magic System or 16 (one for any Misting) and of course the same thing with Feruchemy. And anyway I suppose that Odium in some way put its own to the rise of magic systems on Roshar.. He is near and Invested some of this on Roshar Itself.

The Hell has lifeforms adaped by the presence of Shades (no predator at all) if the current situation with the Shades was recent, we will find an ecosystem not so stable. The death of predators will create a lot of over popolation in the prey with great conseguences for the whole ecosystem. This may be a proof for "the Shades was there with their manners and their rules" for a very long time.

I suppose everything has the same size in the various aspects, probably is the Identity that may be strong or weak (and of course epic for the stick). I have always though at the Shades like Cognitive being for a couple of simply (and maybe meaningless) reasons: 1) The word itseft is "near" to the Cognitive Shadow, of course cognitive being. 2) The Shards are the only Spiritual beings we never saw and the Shards itself can't appear easy in the physical world. Oudeis I didn't understand your post about "souls are physical", may you explain again ?
