it's possible that Sazed was wrong, He probably didn't use often his own abilities and quite never to fight context... Sazed isn't any kind of warrior, for the whole trilogy we never saw a Feruchemist Warrior (and to be honest with the bloodline mixing we never see it neither in the future). I am with the one who think that F-Speed (alone) is more limitated than many though (starting with the difficoult to store it)

It's quite common to became magic user in the Cosmere, to have some "cracks in the soul" where the Investiture may flow in. It's not the only way but it's a common method to obtain above the average ability if you are not born with it. (Example the first generation of Allomancers of the Final Empire, sons and grandsons of Lerasium Mistborns, didn't need to Snap as far as we know, but through the bloodline the Allomantic power is become more and more weak and the Allomancer of the Final Empire needed the Snapping to unlock their abilities.)

If i rememeber right a similar question, the answer is yes....I'm waiting The Lost Metal to see if they try to give a Medallion to Ranette as testing for a "Medallion-Compound". PS: This is how I suppose the Firefathers and Firemothers work...To me they are Brass Misting or Brass Ferring among the Southerns... Who used the medallion with the other power to compound Heat for the whole comunity

it's possible, I developed an idea about Feruchemy "unlock"... I suppose there is a threeshold of Ruin and Presevation Investiture needed to became a Feruchemy or a balancing between the two investiture. In my model the Terrismen were pushed by the prophecies to assimilate some Ruin's Investiture (eating Atium, drinking a drop of Ruin's Shardpool or remaked by an Ascended ones to integrate more Ruin's Investiture) actually this is the weak point of the model and they developed Feruchemy. There are more details but it's of course unsure, if you want... you may find it in my signature (probably with the new material I have to update it).

there are some reason to think trell=Autonomy... but the problem is "the characters may be wrong"... Marasi's researchs find "Trell" but we can't be sure that she and other characters are simply wrong, or the "outsider shard's force" is trying to push the suspects somewhere else.

To me make sense that the Survival Shard and the Shard off-planet it's the same being. If this Shard doesn't anchor itself to anything, mean that it doesn't Invest itself, it's a good strategy to avoid to be overpowered by some other Shard (someone said Odium ?) and fits well with the will of survive. BUT quite all the Shards we saw so far invested themself, like if "investing their own power" is some kind of second nature to them, therefore the Shards without a world must have some kind of "Selfish kind" of Intent, something (dumb example "greed") that give to the Shard a way to overpowered its need to Invest.

I am very doubtful about Spren as Roshar's Focus... It's like to say that the Focus of Power on Roshar is the power itself Reading Mistborn SH I began to delete also "gemstone" from the list but I actually never consider it a candidate for Roshar's Focus. I am still with the "bond" as a focus but I need to think better to the whole thing

Everyone who experienced the Ascension may stay as Cognitive Shadow... Kelsier forced this proces remaing in the Well for an year. Also Rashek may became a Shadow, but He choose to go beyond instead of remain in the realms

More Thoughts on Adonalsium and the Cosmere’s “Back Story”
Yata replied to Confused's topic in Cosmere Discussion
A long time ago, in another topic (that at the moment I don't remember) I developed this theory about the Shattering itself: Adonalsium was a more etherogeneous being than the shards (we have some Wob about the Shards existence in Adonalsium, like now Sazed is Harmone and is Ruin & Preservation in the same way), when He died and his "central control" was no more, He (and his power) shattered this different amounts of power (in the same way happened in the Shattered Plains to the Oathgate, the weak point was destroied leaving a regolar landmass) long this "weakspot". Now the Shards are a more homogeneous power, they have no weakspot and it took moore strenght to break them. But when the force is enough they explode in a lot of Splinters (like the rest of the Shattering plains for example). This is my idea and until SH was without problem, but now with the Khriss's words (if she is right) we know that Adonalsium's Shattering creates the same number of Shard of his killers... this can't be a coincidence. Or the killers made something to Adonalsium to manage the Shard's born or this 16 people was recruited because Adonalsium will Shatter in 16 Shards (16 peoples with the right Connections to pick up the new formed Shards) PS: Sorry I realize that my explaination was confused (no joke with the homonym Sharder XD) but it's a bit difficult to explain my thought -
I like this theory, but I don't think it's likely.... First of all, if Rashek burned Spike to perform his great feats, the "burning Spike" effect would be canon from years and BS seems to imply that he didn't a canonic effect about burning spike. Then It would be a really waste of Allomancy, a Spike contains little Investiture, probably Rashek to reach his "great feat" needed to burning pretty fast and many spike every day... It's unlikely he had so much Spike avaliable. Last but it's just a funny thing, not a contros...only the half of the possible Mistings may gain power through this method... the rest of them would be really envy of Lucky ones

We have Wob about "Hoid at the beginning was a Human but then strange thing happened to him" (paraphrasated). As I said before the Letters on SA seems to indicate some kind of role of Hoid in the Shattering and much more, if Hoid was Adonalsium's Shadow.. Hoid would be actually Adonalsium without body... it's stupid to someone say to him "Stop man, don't mess with the Adonalsium's plan". PS: I have no proofs at all but I think Adonalsium left a Cognitive Shadow and this Cognitive Shadow is what we call God Beyond

If you read Shadow of Self you may remeber the exotic Spike Paalm used.. It's made a metal unknown to Harmony and therefore alien to Scadrial. Harmony are spending a good amount of his power to Shield Scadrial from something/someone external to it... Therefore it's a foreign assoult not something native of Scadrial. This may exclude the Inner Conflict and Rashek&Kelsier can't do something like that and Harmony's current status is something very recent.

The Letters in Stormlight Archive seems to point elsewhere, or at least It' what they made me think

Stormgate, but probably he didn't need all the ablity... Some are quite useless to him and his methods

First of all remember that the Ten Essences table is an in-world Knowledge, therefore we can't be sure about its content, same problem with the Ars Arcanum. We know from WoB that the Essences Table was made by phylosphers but they made some mistakes. Therefore some information of the table itself may be take without the right context (They gathered knowledge, but the Informations themself are probably come by many worldhopper and their stories. They take all this data and tried to find a sense to them and their doctrine. One example: I think the 8th: Foil The nails Metal Talk about Scadrial, of course the Soulcasting propriety are a strict correlation with Scadrial's Focus. and the "body focus" nail actually was a misunderstoonding about the Hemalurgic Spike (the word Nail in English may refer to both thing). I advice to you the reading here where Skaa develop a very intresting Theory about..

There would never be Seeker without Copper... He would remove both Smocker and Seeker with this strategy... The Noble Houses never accepts this
-
The problem is that was impossible to monopolize Copper, any nobles may search a mine and find it. While creating the Atium system give to Rashek a tool of control within the Noble House, he was the only avaliable source of Atium and He decided who may defeat who... He spreads the ultimate weapon but in the end, he was the one who manage it. Also a Mistborn with Atium wasn't a menace to him or his Inquisitors (at least the Mistborn-based Inquisitors) but through the Atium Economy every Noble House knows that a single Enemy Mistborn may kill a little army ...It's like starting a Cold War to avoid too much trouble to yourself.

KSub the possible range for the Ascended One through the Well is something like 1-9 before the start of Mistborn The Final Empire. The whole shattering of Adonalsium was happened 10000 years before (it's still not canon but it's a beginning) and if R&P created Scadrial just after that we have the maximum number of Heroes (it's the name of used in the Terris's Prophecies)...But I really doubt that R&P made Scadrial in their first times as a Shards, to me they before went somewhere else and just after a while decided to create a planet. The previous Heroes may have been used the Well in less drastical ways, stopping many Ruin's trick and forcing him to develop new plans to release himself.

Being a member of a powerful bloodline may be a factor but not too much I suppose. I always thought that she absorb some mist during her live and this Preservation's infusion boost her ability. We don't even know if her ability recive a boost through the use of the Well. Anyway another factor may be her intense use of Allomancy, they may early begin the Savant path, of course I don't think Vin was already a Savant but that some of her Allomancy begun to develop.

The pewter give you some amount of Allomantic power X, this X power depends only by your burning rate not your own strenght. This extra X power is added to your own strenght... Therefore a strong guy gains less than a weak one when they burn pewter (of course I talk about percentage gain not absolute one that is constant). I suppose BS wanted to say that in an average Allomancer the "Extra Strength" is quite on the same level of an Average Human Strength

I find unlikely...unless He manages to pick up pairs of Shards who balance the new Intent. The Harmony's born was possible only under specific events. For example Sazed have to be deeply Connected with the Shards before pick-up them.

Why do souls in Shadesmar manifest as glass beads?
Yata replied to Atkion's topic in Stormlight Archive
Yeah, reading SH have destroy many ideas of my about a lot of things in the Cosmere. -
Probably the Forgery needs a "bridge" to Preservation power and can't simply creates a new one. For example You probably may use a Stamp a Misting to be another kind of Misting (and maybe also a Mistborn), it would be quite intresting. A Metalborn with a Power-replacement Stamp.
