Gotta go with Elantrian and Misborn. The combo of being able to create my own allomantic metals, slow but overpowered magic that can do basically anything, and the versatility of a Mistborn. Not to mention Elantrians are basically Immortal if I'm remembering correctly.

Maybe the storing Investiture attributes of Nicrosil had something to do with it? Like he stored his Investiture in his bracers and could access the powers stored in there without having to burn a whole bunch of metal/tap a bunch of different metal minds. The drawback being that he didn't have any other metals on him to burn/tap when they flew off of him.

I wonder what emotions or things attracted them so much that they went so far out of their own world to do whatever spren do when they find what attracts them. Maybe some kind of metal spren? electricity spren must be pretty bored on Roshar. Would a Soother/Rioter be able to manage enough emotion for emotion spren to come hunting?

How much do you want to bet there will be some conspiracy that Steris discovers based on those three missing clips? Something like some bad guy/ or even the set taking just a few clips from everybody so no one would notice but it adds up to millions for them.

The Ars Arcana writer could be similar to Director Fury. I imagine something like this: Vasher- Reluctant old Veteran who is assigned this team Galadon and/or Demoux- Veteran who goes way back with Vasher/ has worked with him before Random Scadrian- Hotshot newbie, probably a twinborn Jasnah or another similar new Radiant- fit in as they would with whatever Order they are from MeLaan and Wayne- Undercover operatives And of course we've got to save room for any unknowns from other Shard worlds we do not know of yet. Plus this is just the active team. The backround group like techs and data analysis is a whole nother story.

So I recently started watching the series Agents of Shield and it made me really want a book from Sanderson that is all about some elite group of 17th Sharders from different worlds and their adventures throughout the Cosmere. The purpose of this thread is to brainstorm what sort of adventures and Shenanigans this team would encounter.

I think the Pain-Spren would destroy any mother giving birth. From Jasnahs Tor chapter in book three it shows that Spren can affect you in the Cognitive realm,she had to run from them. Giving birth would most definitely attract them and would be difficult to run at the same time.

So now that he's off his Rennette fascination he can concentrate on MeLann like he's supposed to.

I get the feeling its going to end up that wax uses the Bands to defeat the set or -insert bad guy here- then realizes the terrible power that the Bands have and he either hides or destroys them to keep them getting used ever again. Hehe I just realized there will probably be a Battle of the Bands in this book too.

This also could be another manipulation from Harmony. Just because a Kandra says that Harmony is distracted doesn't make it so. I'm assuming that since that Bleeder/Lessie incident Wax has not put his earing back in. Telling Wax that this has nothing to do with Harmony and showing him a convenient photo of his sister could be Harmony's workaround. On another note. Ruin could alter written word. Is there any reason to believe Harmony wouldn't be able to photoshop?

Personally I'd love to see your rendition of the Tower of Urithiru. In my mind I see a giant Japanese looking skyscraper and I know that that is probably wrong but until I see what it really looks like it won't go away.

A god-like Jeckle and Hyde? I wouldn't want to be on Scadrial in the near future if that was the case.

After re-reading about sky-eels again I have come to the conclusion that Kaladin needs a pet Sky-eel. One that Syl occasionaly rides on and doesn't like Adolin at all.

It drained his stormlight because he was infusing it to keep it together. It normally would have broken but for his constant stream to it. Whether it would have drained stormlight when not cracked is the real question. Non-Radiant Shardplate does use up some stormlight overtime I believe but taking damage increases the drain as it slips through cracks.

Personally I don't think a live action anything could properly convey the magic and worlds of the Cosmere. It would end up looking like every other two-bit b list fantasy movie out there. A good animated show or movie would do a much better job.

I figure there will be a short brutal war followed by a long drawn out cold war. Each group trying to get an advantage over the other. Thus bringing about a surge in technological growth that will eventually lead to space travel.

We don't know if there is a war coming. But we do know that another group survived the Catecendre (sp?) from the southern pole. In the original trilogy life can only be found on the poles of the planet and there were two separate groups. We know absolutely nothing about the southern group except that they don't really have allomancers but figured out how to use allomancy in machines. The war I referred too was just a theory that I have that when they finally come into contact there will be a war between them.

My guess is it is an agreement among friends. Marsh does his own thing but when Harmony needs him he answers the call. Anything less and Harmony could just use Marsh as his own person avatar. With so many spikes in him there is nothing that Marsh could do if he got on Harmony's bad side.

Basically Harmony had to choose between emotionally scarring Wax and a bloody revolution/civil war. Plus we have no way of knowing what will happen when the Northern Scadrians meet the Southern. A world war after a revolution/civil war would not end well for our Northern friends. If I was given that choice I'd screw Wax over too.

Yes it is. But killing Lessie wasn't Sazeds first choice. Lessie was supposed to get him to come back but she rebelled against Harmony and so he took matters into his own hands. So I wouldn't say he is totally messed up, but doing the best he could do with the circumstances he was given.

Although she plays pranks on other soldiers in Sadeas' camp as well and it doesn't seem to be more than annoying to them. It must be a relatively common experience to have prankster windspren or we would have heard something from those soldiers I would think. I can understand Kaladin just rolling with it if it was a unique experience but not them.

Would the mash-up Intent be anything like Disharmony or better yet, Chaos. Chaos would fit with Kelsier perfectly. Maybe Anarchy. They all are less than absolute Ruin but at the same time entail the destruction of the current system. On a side note. Harmony can see the future, or at least can conjecture with his super intelligence. How is it that he couldn't see giving Ruin juice to Kelsier wouldn't end up creating something like this. MeLaan said specifically that Harmony didn't know what the metal was. The whole 'gave the Ruin to Kelsier to hold onto' theory doesn't make much sense to me. It seems like it would be easier to simply create a stockpile of Atium in some remote location where no one will find it and/or let the Kandra guard it again. Having access to a bit of extra Ruin could come it handy if Harmony had to fight another Shard. It would help tip the balance towards destruction if he ever needed to go on the offense.

Its obvious that the shattering of Adonalisium was a group effort between Stick and Aluminum. The Big Bad(the enemy after Odium) will be when they combine as a Aluminum covered Stick. There will be an epic final battle between AlumiStick and Nightblood that will determine the fate of the Cosmere. Hoid has been busy taking bets on the result with the other Worldhoppers after secretly stacking the deck for Millennia.
