Stink is off the table for me, personally. I don't think a Straw lynch is very productive but there's a reason I wanted to kill him (to help develop a better picture of Araris and Elenion, since if Straw is good, one of them could be evil, and if Straw is evil, they are probably good).

Emphasis mine and all Pretty much, but it's a little more than that. Or, I guess, things left unsaid. Good effort. Regarding the neutrals voting you, I was informed that had nothing to do with Orlok's deal. I was told afterwards that they voted for you because they were genuinely suspicious of you and that they knew I was town so they were hoping to get the lynch off of me. But anyway, regarding Aster. The thing that I noticed is that he doesn't apply the same logic to you being good and him getting lynched next to Yitzi. That implies to me heavily that he already knew Yitzi was evil, hence my comment yesterday about forcing teammates to vote for each other, as one of them being killed would then make the other look better. The question I think we should be asking @asterion137 is why didn't he think about what would happen if Yitzi turned out good. Ninja'd by Wilson. Reading now.

Yeahhh, I was kind of banking on being dead already, so I made plans to go out last night, and I'm still recovering from that. I'll be decently active from now until turnover, though. You kind of are but I want to see if anyone else can look over the quote and see the what I saw. @asterion137, if you're town I really need you to help me here. I'd rather not vote for you if I don't have to.

What made you think there was no more hope for you? Was it just that you decide your voting-activity seemed suspicious? I'm asking because I don't often see people of either alignment just decide that they are going to be lynched, and there's nothing to be done about it. Re: Me I'd kinda rather not have a bandwagon at all. I much prefer lynches that are divided between multiple players where everyone who can vote has, even if its on someone unrelated. We learn a ton more info from that than everyone piling on one person. Re: Aster I think you're asking the wrong question, Rand. Look very carefuly at what Aster said there.

It's fine, I don't think the mods have problems with people posting things here, though Knock From Outside the Cosmere is probably the better topic to discuss it. But either way, thank you it was hard to watch live at times, but town pulled through, so I'm proud. And my performance was apparently notable, so yay.

IMO him not being able to steal the same metal twice changes things a lot. Given I was the player who was most bothered by his game play (well, I know I'm not the only one, but I personally was very upset with him during the first cycle), I'm perfectly willing to forgive him if it stops.

I'm in the process of sobering up, so once I finish that I'll look over this thread and see who I actually want to push. Not very comfortable with the transition from STINKwagon into Strawagon.

I advocate leaving Stink alone, even if I started this. Him being unable to steal the same metal twice changes a lot.

I didn't realize that he can't steal from the same player twice, which is a very important factoid. I was mostly afraid of him just shutting the Ringleader down completely if we didn't remove him now. I wish this info came forward before two people roleclaimed but oh well. I can confirm both Rae and Wilson's statements. I want to say that the fallout of this alone could be enough to make Stink realize how he interacted with me this game was just not cool. Although Rand has it right that he had so many options to choose from, and that from that I can infer he did it out of spite towards me, nothing about doing this helps the game or our community progress. Either way, the Ringleader and I are doomed.

I would love to take advantage of these next 48 hours of discussion but I really don't think we can just leave an anti-village Thief running around, and I feel like with a lynch set on him today, there really isn't much we can actually learn from pressuring other players with votes. EDIT: I'm going to go lay down to read and hopefully fall back asleep. I got up to use the bathroom and checked the thread quick to see if killing Straw was a good call then saw what happened and became immediately wide awake. If I've gone overboard with my posts before this one, I may have been a bit grumpy at the time, so sorry for that.

I honestly cannot understand why he would do this. Like there's no sane world that exists in the multiverse where he gets away for playing like this, and that annoys me more than the fact that he did it to begin with. The fact that he pointedly ignored my post last night asking if Yitzi claimed evil to him or not goes to show that he's probably colluding. I had that chulldung queued from the get go... pun intended.

Meta, @little wilson, @Alvron, please correct me if I'm wrong here (for your information, Mega, they're the other two moderators of this forum apart from Meta). I'm not sure the exact timing of things, but I might be able to figure it out. The scheduling for it works like this: Long Games typically last 72 hours a phase (day and night turn). At the start of the 6th phase (15 days from game start), the sign ups for the next Long Game are posted, which will last a week before the game starts, so people have time to make their character and join. This means that a new long game should start every 22 days. Mid-Ranged games and Quick Fix games start one after another. The former typically have 48 hour long phases, and depending on player count / alignment distribution / luck, could last anywhere between 5 phases and 10, but most likely closer to the middle. The latter have 24 hour long phases, and rarely last longer than a week. So here you can expect a sign ups to be posted relatively frequently (MR to QF, 2 weeks, QF to MR, 1 week) + 1 week for sign ups. Looking at the games now, a new QF should be posted in 4-6 days, while a new LG should be posted in 9. There is a queue for people running games in which also includes the name of what they want to run, and usually the rules are posted ahead of time in the Art of Game Creation. Yes, this section can only have game specific threads. This is the best place for general questions like these, though.

Emphasis mine. Nice  That being said, it's the only viable solution at this point. Or else this game might as well have never had a Coinshot at all. I am so mad that this is even a thing that needs to happen. It literally makes today's lynch discussion pointless. @Haelbarde, if over half the players vote for STINK, can we trigger a majority kill and end the turn early? I know that's not a thing we normally do in these forums but it's something that's done in others and I'm actually quite fond of the concept.
