Unless one of Straw, Rand or Yitzi were evil.

This line of thought is a slippery slope, imo. I can't think of many people who have tried to use IKYKs to their benefit like that and succeeded. Most players automatically operate at first level psychology. Plus there's the fact that I was the one that defended it to begin with, while he was away, so if he was an eliminator with that intention, I'd have to be as well as there's no other way he could have predicted me fighting off anyone who attacked him.

Basically why I think the best thing a villager can do is try to solve the game. If you're trying I'm probably going to townread you until I have reasonable doubts not to

I hadn't thought on it, but that might also be why his vote on Rand felt weird to me (him usually staying out of D1 lynch).

Still think the Jon lynch was pure. I've got overall town vibes from Crimsn, Stick and Brightness, and I feel like if any one of those three was evil, they'd probably hesitate to put themselves in the spotlight like that. There are mild associative concerns between them and Yitzi, but that depends on Yitzi being evil, which is a more useful lead to pursue imo. Especially after that elims being afraid of me comment. I was impressed by how quickly he pulled up that quote from my bio on the championships, as it implies he didn't necessarily hear it through the rumor mill, although it could have been a slip, and there's nothing saying that said quote couldn't have been mentioned in the doc. Yitzi's definitely a player I would like people to extract more thoughts from over the course of the next few days, but I don't think there's anything that says he for sure has to be evil yet. There's quite a lot of people who haven't given me at least some indicator of being town, which means some are bound to be village, and Yitzi is just one that had a bit more content to look at which made him more ideal for analyzing.

Ties, though... Really don't want us to waste time discussing lynching / actually killing neutrals. Doesn't really help us and STINK already has enough information to harm the village significantly with a mass reveal. Better to just not give him any more ammunition and let him pursue his win con, IMO.

Before I read all of this, can you do two players who haven't claimed neutral? Not very helpful for me getting your thoughts on potential villagers / eliminators sorry for not clarifying that earlier.

Probably best indicator of being evil is lack of genuine attempts to solve the game. Unfortunately townies do it too for various other reasons, such as lack of time, desire, confidence and experience. I was just talking about this in a PM, but the most useful thing a villager can ever do is make it obvious they're a villager by trying. Read accuracy doesn't really matter if you can't convince people you don't have ulterior motives, and in my opinion it's a lot tougher be an elim pretending to be a villager trying to solve the game (when they already have all the answers) than it is being a villager doing the same. If every villager does their best to be a villager, chances are the village will recognize who's just pretending, regardless of who gets night killed. RE: Neutrals My take is everyone should just leave them alone. At this point with the Pauper and Convict open claims they've probably got a group PM and can be considered their own faction who just want to survive / make sure each of them wins. It's inevitable that the eliminators try to recruit them but I'm taking the Neutrals at their world that they're only interested in preserving game balance between us and the elims and that's perfectly reasonable and I probably wouldn't prefer it any other way. Close games are more fun etc etc let's find the people that we have to kill and not get distracted by neutrals and everyone can have fun and become best friends.

Re: Lopen's Vote on Yitzi: I think Lopen's progression of opinion is pretty good, honestly. I just think I beat him to the punch in stating what's peculiar about Yitzi. Lopen is definitely a player I'd revisit in the future, but I've got a town read on him for now. Re: Other Gut Reads: I don't really think any read is trash, even if I prefer ones with reasoning. I've also realized that trying to articulate the thoughts that are harder for us to express tend to be a lot more alignment indicative than ones that are obviously observable / commonly interpreted. No harm in trying, at least. EDIT: These comments directed at @Arinian but apply universally.

Re: Neutrals, as a villager I prefer it this way, honestly. I would be happy if I knew all 6 because then those are 6 players I can not waste any time analyzing for being evil. Significantly useful for process of elimination, since it really turns this game from an 28 player puzzle into a 22 player one.

Ninja'd by Arin, will read shortly. First question. How does me observing you relate to elims being scared of me? EDIT: Oh and refer to the paragraph Arin quoted from me about you, too, since I asked you a question there at the end. @Yitzi2 to make sure you see this edit.

I'm awake and stuff. Will probably look through all of Yitzi's posts and ask some questions since he's around. Also see Jon viewing the game, sorry again for my part in your death, bud. Hope things are well and such

That's why I loled'. On top of two of them claiming unique roles (which is pretty silly to lie about since it would be super easy for the real Convict/Noble to counter claim and get them killed), it's pretty obvious that any group of 8 players can't "all be elims."
