Sure, I can understand doing that. It does mean that they didn't send in the Traitor kill at least. However, why did they move a vote on to Stink? If I was in their position, I probably would have just moved the vote ON an inactive. That way, there is no risky of it doing anything potentially game/lynch changing.

Sooo, someone made Shallan vote on STINK? That's funny. I would first think it was a Traitor Well-Connected player because Arraenae was a Traitor, but I'm not sure if that would have been a good idea, since it would show us they have the Well-Connected role. Still, it's possible that they moved a vote pretty early on, when it was still close(the votes were 3:1 against Arraenae for awhile until luckat voted) and then never got on again to cancel their action or something. Anyone have any thoughts on the matter?

Well it's not like I can do anything I want without repercussions, y'know? Plus, someone's supposed to be all like "um, hmm, I don't want you to send this person, 'cause they're my Traitor buddy with a good role," and stuff. Anyways, I was thinking since LUNA could possibly get lynched next(nothing's set in stone here of course, but she's certainly a possibility), if she is a Traitor, it might not be a good idea to let them get an extra kill by putting her on the mission when her life might be thought of as in danger. So since Clanky has so graciously volunteered, I'll switch him with LUNA for that reason. I'm gonna send in the order right now, and I'm not sure I'll be able to change it. Looking forward to reading your thoughts Ada. (I'm not telepathic at all! Nope. )

LUNA, this is in response to your post last Cycle. 1. I don't remember you really saying you were against Maill getting lynched. Your one post to Stink about Maill could be interpreted that way I guess, but it wasn't that much of a defense for Maill. Anyways, let's say you did defend Maill. If you killed him as an eliminator, that might make you look a little better wouldn't it? So why would killing Maill be a bad idea? 2. Awesome! I agree that it's better to be somewhat aggressive if you want to get anything done. 3. I'm surprised you didn't think about voting on Arraenae. As for me, like I said above, I think it's better to be aggressive to get things done. So my "fierce attack" on you isn't personal or anything, but if I'm suspicious of someone, I try to list all of the reasons for why I feel that way. (I'm a dude, btw. So are Stink and Ada.) 4. As far as I'm concerned, you don't have to talk to me in the PM I made. But I just thought it was odd that you would reply sometimes, but sometimes you'd just look at the PM and never say anything in response(especially when I asked you what you thought about Mailliw, and you didn't say anything, and then he died). If you'd rather keep your interactions solely in the thread, just say so. I won't be offended if you don't want to talk to me. 5. Thank you for responding.

I just beat a mute person to death... Good thing Rae was a Traitor! Anyways, I had a PM with Arraenae(which means I'm loyal of course ). She told me she was a Non-Specialist, and then last Night Turn, she asked me what I thought of Ada's alignment, to which I replied saying I was a little suspicious of him. She said she was suspicious of him because she thought his vote on Anamaximder was really sudden and that she thought he just wanted someone to die and chose Anamaximder because he couldn't fight back. She said she thought she might be tunneling on him, but that every time she had been suspicious of him before, she was right, so she was gonna stay suspicious. That's about it. I don't think anyone ever mentioned Arraenae to me except STINK last Night Turn(he said he was suspicious of her, to which I replied that I wasn't...whoops).

I edited my last post, just in case no one saw it. The facts are correct. Arraenae, the fact that you waited for 2 and a half hours to say anything about it makes me think that you were trying to think of a good angle to defend yourself, or maybe you went in your doc and asked advice. I feel like if you were a villager, you would have immediately denied it, and then tried to think of what's going on. I don't have time to respond to your big post up above, but I still think you're a Traitor, sorry. I can think of some legitimate reasons for how STINK could be privy to said information though.

Elbereth - posted after the reveal stating she was catching up 4. Ripple - has been online since the reveal, but no posts about it 5. Elkanah - has been online since the reveal, but no posts about it 6. BB - has been online since the reveal, but no posts about it 7. Clanky - has been online since the reveal, but no posts about it 8. Adavantos - has not been online since the reveal 9. luckat - has not been online since the reveal 10. Hellscythe - has not been online since the reveal 11. LUNA - has not been online since the reveal 12. SilverDragon - has not been online since the reveal 13 and 14. phattemer and Shallan - inactive still 15. Araris - voted on Arraenae 16. Lopen - voted on Arraenae 17 and 18 are STINK and Arraenae (I'm gonna double check these facts real quick.) Just because some players haven't been online doesn't mean they haven't seen the reveal.

The lack of a response from Arraenae makes me think that STINK is telling the truth, so I'll switch my vote over. LUNA(I'd still like a response) Arraenae

I've reviewed your posts Ada, but it's actually pretty tough to put into words why I suspect you. I've tried to list some reasoning at least though. I didn't agree with your reasoning for suspicion on luckat. (We've discussed this, I know.) You said you were a little suspicious of me earlier in the game which in turn made me suspicious of you. I've disagreed with a few small things you've said, but they're pretty much just opinion based, such as you saying you were glad we didn't have a Day 1 lynch, because eliminators usually don't get invovled, but I think if everyone was talking and voting, they really wouldn't have a choice and we could really do some good. I'll admit that that's unlikely to happen though, because some players just don't like Day 1 lynches. Then there's some of the explanation you gave for voting on Anamaximder. Lynching him hasn't ever affected his playstyle, so even if we "punished" him by lynching him, I don't think it would do any good, so I felt like you were trying to justify your vote as much as you could. Your post about how you're always suspicious unless you're dead or the game's over just felt like a play on peoples sympathy. Your list of the players and the way you ranked them was interesting, and not far off from how I feel at the moment, so I don't know how to feel about that. So, that's all for now. I realize it's not a lot. Other than all of that, I guess I'm a little suspicious of you because of the way you've worded your posts. Just gives me a bad feeling about you somehow. Looking at both you and LUNA, I think I'm slightly more suspicious of LUNA, so I'll put my vote there for the time being. It would be nice if we could get a lot of players voting, since that really hasn't happened yet.

Oh yeah, about her selections. Mailliw said she sent exactly who he had suggested in their(or at least who he said he would send), but did not tell her any role claims. He also said that she viewed their PM, but didn't respond to it either. It's possible she decided to send who he suggested, rather than those who volunteered because of what you say, that she wanted to send villagers with a better chance of having good roles than those who volunteered making them likely to be Non-Specialists, but also because if she picked a loyals(Mailliw) choices, rather than picking random players, she could have an excuse for why she chose who she did. That might be a little far-fetched, but I don't know. I'm kind of lazing around right now, so I haven't gotten to analyzing you yet Ada. I think I'd give it another hour before I get it done. I've kinda had a long day, so I'm a little tired. I don't like leaving loose ends, so since I announced that I think you might be a traitor, I want to say why.

Well, I guess I'll explain my reasoning about LUNA first, since it will be a lot shorter. 1. Lurking! Most of her posts are responding to someone who either called her out somehow, or asked her a question. She hasn't voted on anyone, or voiced any suspicions at all. It's the 3rd Cycle, and this is her first game, so maybe she's just trying to get a feel for things or something, but I personally find it suspicious when the majority of a players posts are defensive in nature. 2. When Arraenae and STINK called her out a little, her responses, in my opinion, felt like she was trying to brush them off casually so that she didn't seem overly defensive or something to that effect. I don't know if that's the best explanation, so let's just say I felt like her responses seemed eliminator-ish. 3. Last Night Turn, I asked her in our PM what she thought of Mailliw, and then a little bit later, asked her another question. She viewed the PM, but didn't ever respond. Since Mailliw died, her not responding seems suspicious to me. She did that with my PM with her on the first Cycle as well, which kinda makes me feel like she's hesitant to talk openly about anything. That's pretty much it. What are your reasons Ada? (Don't worry, I'll try and do a post where I accuse you as well, so don't feel left out or anything. )

Oh, actually, I didn't trust you much in LG14. It was LG15 I was thinking of. Regardless, everyone is at least a little suspicious until they die or the game ends, so I'm not giving you any sympathy. We really need to get on with lynching now! I've seen some players viewing the thread, but they haven't posted. I'm tempted to vote for one of them, but I'm kind of tired of voting on lurkers, and I kind of feel like I whine about them too much , so I'll just say who they are, and then search for a player who's been active to vote on. Lurkers(ish) for this Cycle: Kynedath - Followed this topic and was online for a bit, but hasn't posted anything. Hellscythe - I saw him viewing the thread awhile ago, but he didn't post. I don't think he's posted since early on in Day 2. Correct me if I'm wrong. Elkanah - Has been online since this Cycle started, but no posts. Clanky - I think he might be viewing the thread right now. I know he was a little earlier at least, but no posts yet. Araris - Has viewed the thread a couple times I think. Is online right now. SilverDragon - I only put him here because he posted and said he was gonna stay in his corner because there's not enough information for him to vote, which I took as him saying he's not gonna be posting much. What's with the white text Ada? As for my vote, I'm not sure where I'm going to place it quite yet, but right now I'm looking at Adavantos and LUNA as potential traitors. I want to go over things some before I vote though.

Good point I guess. It would be risky to attack someone who you knew was a Medical Knowledge player. To answer your question, yes I was in a PM with Mailliw. He claimed False Trails to me as well, told me he mostly talked to STINK, me and Burnt on Night 1(which he said was sad, since Burnt then died and me and STINK went on the mission) and he also said that he was busy last Night Turn, so he didn't have much to say(I just asked him if anything was going on, like I usually do if one of my PM's is going quiet). He never said anything about reasons for being targeted. I was also in a PM with Orlok(surprise, I'm in a PM with everyone ). We didn't talk much. He asked me about HttFE(it's another game), and his only game relevant message said something to the effect of "I'm suspicious of Adavantos for reasons I can't really explain." I seriously doubt he role claimed to anyone. That's about it.

So an eliminator Assassin used their one shot and killed someone with a very good role. That makes me think that the eliminators have a Data Gathering player and scanned him on the first Cycle. Anyways, they've played their hand somewhat with that kill, which gives us insight for how the roles have been distributed a bit, as well as the fact that they have an Assassin(so get searching loyal Data Gathering roles!). It's also possible, that since they killed so early, and there's the chance that a Data Gathering role could out them, they have a player with False Trails so they aren't worried about Data Gathering players right now. I guess I was wrong about Orlok being the culprit behind Burnts death. Oh well. Orlok and Mailliw were both suspicious of Adavantos. (What? I'm not implying anything. ) Even more information from this past Cycles results. There was at least 2 eliminators NOT on the mission(1 who sent in their kill and the Traitor Assassin). 4 players were on the mission, 2 loyals died, leaving 14 players unaccounted for. 1. STINK - was online during Night Turn 2. Anamaximder - was online during Night Turn 3. Hellscythe - was online during Night Turn 4. Shallan - was online during the Night Turn, but only for the first 30 minutes of it. I don't know if that tells us for sure that she didn't make on of those kills, but in my experience, kills aren't usually sent in in the first 30 minutes of a Turn. 5. phattemer - similarly to Shallan, he was only online during the Night Turn for about the first 10 minutes of it. 6. Elbereth - HAS NOT BEEN ONLINE DURING THE NIGHT TURN TO SEND IN AN ACTION. Did not kill anyone. 7. RippleGylf - everyone else listed after this, including Ripple, was online during the Night Turn. 8. Elkanah 9. Bridge Boy 10. Adavantos 11. Lopen(but I didn't kill anyone!) 12. Araris 13. Arraenae 14. LUNA Mission players: 1. Luckat 2. Clanky 3. Kynedath 4. SilverDragon This doesn't mean much I guess, but I thought I'd point it out in case it becomes relevant at any point. Edited for more info on the players online times. So, unless you think that Shallan and/or phattemer planned to go offline and send in their kills early, I'd guess they didn't kill anyone.

Lopen sat at his table, tapping his foot as he downed the last of his drink. I wonder how the mission is progressing. This waiting is terrible. We didn't take this long on our mission did we? He signaled for another drink. I guess I've just got to be patient and hope that all goes well.

Firstly, I think it would be a good idea to define how I'm using the term "inactive" for this post. If I say inactive here, I mean that the player hasn't gotten on the 17th Shard. I still think it would be a better idea that if we did put an inactive on the mission, we should only put 1 on it. That way, if the missions succeeds, we'll know that player is an eliminator. If the mission fails and they die, that's an inactive down, and 3 players protected from death. If the mission fails, and someone ELSE dies(besides the inactive I mean), we'll know that the inactive is evil, as well as one of the other two surviving players. If the "inactive" comes online during the Turn, it's possible they could send in an order, but that wouldn't really be a bad thing, especially if they succeed it. The only problem I see with this is that it will cut our numbers down faster. Anyways, Shallan was last online about a half hour after this Turn started, and phattemer was last online about 15 minutes after this Turn started(he posted right after the end of the last Turn). Anamaximder hasn't been online for about 36 hours. I don't know about everyone else, but these 3 are usually the most inactive. I guess I'll check some more online times and see if anyone else could be labelled "inactive." Edit: Oh yeah, now I remember the biggest issue with the "put an inactive on the mission" plan. It's that if the player gets online, but doesn't vote in any way for the mission, and is loyal, so they die, we won't be able to tell if they died because of inactivity(or "not voting" in this case), or because of an eliminator voting to fail the mission. I don't see this as a very likely scenario, but I guess it could cause unwarranted suspicion on those who were on that mission. So I guess I will just say that players should pay extra attention to who gets picked for the mission, so if you get picked, you know you need to send in a PM to the GM and not let this happen!

Yeah, Ada, it's fine. At first I saw it as you just wanted someone to die, so it hit me as suspicious, but I believe that you didn't realize the turn was ending, so I think the vote would have made sense the way you say you intended it. I'll also agree that Araris seemed genuine(of course, his post was blue, so...). Clanky, the votes were tied from regular voting I believe(unless there was manipulation, and someone is going to die when Wyrm checks everything to make sure about the votes ).

Yay, PM's! Anyways, I was thinking that Adavantos' vote on Anamaximder was pretty suspicious, since previously he's been against lynching Anamaximder, but mostly I was suspicious because he put his vote on him about 45 minutes before turn over, leaving him hardly any time to actually respond like he asks him to, but then he(Ada) posted and said he didn't realize that the Turn was gonna end so soon(in blue text), so I guess it was a little less suspicious than I first thought. Luckat, that sounds fine to me I think.

That's what I was thinking too. Also, I'd rather not lynch him so early this game. It seems like he's just a "oh, no good lynch target? Let's lynch Anamaximder then" player. Edit: My first sentence refers to Ada, not STINK, although I agree STINK is playing fairly different this game.
