  1. Player analysis: Adavantos: His alignment is really very important. I had some suspicion against him for some things he said that seemingly contradicted things he'd said earlier in the game, but an Illusionist trying to get him killed makes me lean towards him being an Epic. I suppose it's possible that the Illusionist thought that Ada was evil, and so took the chance to kill him, but that seems like a very risky thing to do as an Epic, because what if you're wrong? I can't really go into detail on his posts, simply because there's so many, and I don't have time for that. Has claimed to have attacked Orlok C1, Kynedath C2, and Araris C3. There has been white chalk involved in all of those cases, so I believe it's most likely he's a Matter Disruptor. If he is evil, and not a Matter Disruptor, that would mean a teammate of his is a MD, but that doesn't make sense for him to lie about his role even if he is evil, so i believe that regardless of his alignment, he is a MD. At the moment, I'm leaning towards Epic. Mailliw: Was the 4th vote on Anamaximder I believe. Voted for Adavantos and BB with no little explanation(stated that he was busy and only had time to drop a vote where he was starting to get suspicious of someone). Has said that he should be more active from now on. Also thinks that either Ada or Clanky are Reckoners(to get technical, he said he thinks one of them made an "evil kill," but that's beside the point. ) Not really enough for me to go either way on him. Could be he's a Reckoner, but it seems to me that he would be more involved and put more into the game if he was an eliminator. Neutral. Kynedath: Ada claimed to have killed him on C2(white chalk was involved). If Ada is evil, something in Kynedaths posts may have been the cause of Ada choosing him. It may be that Ada was trying to lay false trails by killing him though, so I would be hesitant to follow leads based off of something like that. This kill was one of the reasons I was suspicious of Ada. I felt like Kynedath could be a good help for the village if left alive, and I thought he did a good job proving himself in MR10, so I was surprised that Ada killed him. Kynedath was against the lynch on Anamaximder, He stated that out of those who voted for him, Orlok was the least likely to be a Reckoner, and Mail and Hellscythe the most likely. Voted on Hellscythe right before he died. PK: I had some initial suspicion against PK on the first Cycle, because of his wording when he voted for Orlok. He said "I'm gonna put my vote where it counts." which is exactly what he said when he was an eliminator in MR10 when he got Sart lynched on C1. However, this situation was very different, because Anamaximder was an Epic. There was no need to insure a lynch on a villager in this case(opposite to the case in MR10, when there was two villagers up for the lynch and PK broke the tie with his vote), so I don't see it as necessarily meaning he is an eliminator. Actually, going back through his posts, he's voted for every player involved in the Anamaximder lynch(Orlok, BB, Hellscythe and Mailliw). Other players he's voted on: Ripple and Clanky. As far as a read goes, I think I'd lean towards "maybe Epic". He's been fairly active, and his posts seem genuine to me. Claims invisibility. Scanned: Kynedath as killing someone C1(if Ada turns out to be a Reckoner, I would very much look at PK because of this scan.), Ripple as doing nothing on C2 and Clanky as killing someone on C3. Those claims seem to have been verified, so i'm fairly sure that PK is what he says he is. Hellscythe: Was a part of Anamaximders lynch. 3rd vote I believe. Had about a 3 day gap where he never posted in the thread, but I don't remember him being up for death by inactivity, which means he was active during that time. Sorry guys, but my time is up. I'll try to get back on as soon as I can and finish this up.
  2. Okay. I need to apologize for my lack of posting so far. I have had limited access to a laptop, so I've not been able to try and put things together like I usually do because it's hard to do much research on mobile. I'm going through everything right now, and will try to post my thoughts/analysis on every player(or as many as I can while I'm using a laptop, since I'm not sure how much longer I have right now) once I finish. @Steph, Since you don't want to explain your reasons for your suspicion against me, I can't really respond. So I guess I'll just respond by saying that I can't respond. Now respond is sounding weird in my head. I would appreciate you removing both of your votes against me though, if you aren't going to reveal why you are suspicious of me right now. I don't like being so close to the lynch because of something that I can't defend against. Dang. There's a hidden role? That's awesome. (I may just make one of those if I ever GM. )
  3. I don't have time to do any kind of analyzing right now, because it's really late here and I'm very tired. Hopefully I can get a good night's sleep and help out tomorrow. I should be able to get on before rollover(not sure when though, my ability to get on is somewhat random because I don't always have a laptop availiable for use.), so I'm hoping I can get some analyzing done(mostly on Adavantos and Orlok) and post my thoughts on some things then. Re: Orloks scans. I'm honestly not sure how we should approack this situation. He doesn't feel comfortable sharing his scans, and I'm not sure I blame him. Is it worth it for Orlok to try to prove his role by revealing someone elses role in thread(I know I don't like doing that much. In LG15 I kinda felt bad for revealing Elbereth as a Coinshot.)?
  4. Oh snap! Meta's playing and he's gonna be trolling someone! This sounds like fun. I haven't come up with a name for my character yet.....sorry Alvron! I'll think I'll go with Finn. He's a guy who likes to fight and very rarely loses a fistfight, and he always wears bright colors and socks on his hands(hey, it's cold in Newcago, and punching people hurts!). (Random backstory accomplished! )
  5. 1. I know this is a QF, but I thought you have previously said that you like to keep some suspicious players alive because it will allow you to find their teammates if they are in fact evil? I would think that you would follow this idea in this game because you knew you couldn't be killed right away(unless you're an Epic and the Reckoners have 2 kills and decided to use both on you, which I doubt would happen.). I would also like to respond to something else you said earlier about how each Cycle that a village kill role doesn't kill someone is another Cycle that an eliminator doesn't die(or something like that). I specifically said in my advice, just yet, meaning I don't think it is helpful for kill roles to attack on the first cycle, because of the lack of information. I personally think it's better to prolong the game as much as you can, rather than killing every player you're suspicious of. QF11 and MR10 are perfect examples of why we should be careful with killing. QF11 didn't have kill roles. But it did have an inactivity filter. That made the game go very fast. I believe it was over in 7 days. One week for the village to try to figure things out. I don't think this game will have anywhere close to the inactivity that we had in that game, but i still think it's a valid example of why we should be careful with killing off players. MR10, we had Cooks going crazy, and I think that's a big reason why the village lost in that game. We hurt ourselves by shortening the game by 2 or 3 Cycles(or more). If there is a lynch, a Reckoner kill, and a matter disruptor kill, that's 3 kills per Cycle(protections can help with the actual attacks though). If someone is inactive, then that will bump the number up to 4(or higher if more players go inactive). We don't have a big buffer of players like in some other games we've played, so I think it's all the more imperative that we are cautious with our kill roles, especially in the first Cycle! After that, well, it depends on how confident you are in your ability to weed out eliminators. I certainly understand the need to be more aggressive in your accusations because of the nature of QF's, but I'm not sure I'd say the same for justifying killing someone with your role on the first Cycle. 2. This I agree on. I have previously decided that if i got a kill role, and it became publicly known, I would certainly listen to advice, but I wouldn't feel that I had to go with the majority vote. I like to be the one who decides how to use my own role. That's part of what I find fun in these games. Questions! 1. If someone uses Magnified Persuasion on player A, and player B uses Transmogrification on player A, how would the vote turn out? Would it negate just one vote? Or would it negate both votes, because it stops that player from voting at all? 2. How does Transmogrifiaction show up as? The only reason I ask is because I'm not sure if we can differentiate between Enhanced Relationships removing a vote, or Transmogrification. My 2nd question has to do with this. Does she have that power, or was a vote removed from her using Transmogrifiaction. @Steph, I will get back with you about Orlok(or for that matter, any of those who are up for the lynch). I need to go over things carefully right now, because so far I've just skimmed what's happened this Cycle. Just from skimming, I'm not sure what to think. Some things that Ada has said makes me suspicious, but something I was thinking about was why he would attack Orlok if he was a Reckoner. Orlok was sorta up for the lynch, and as has happened, come under suspicion for his voting on anamaximder. Why, if he was a Reckoner, would he attack someone who could possibly be lynched by the village? I wouldn't put it past Ada to pull something like that so that he would have justification for attacking someone on the first Cycle, but I can't tell if that was the case or not. I personally was against the Anamaximder lynch, but don't have time to fully go into why I was against it. Mostly I just agree with Adavantos and Kipper on their points on why it didn't make sense to me. I have a mild suspicion on Orlok because of his participation in the Anamaximder lynch, but I need to go through his responses this Cycle to get a better feel on his alignment. I've been ninja'd a bunch of times.
  6. So as far as I can tell these are the vote manipulations that happened. 1. Anamaximders vote against myself was changed to himself. 2. Someone who voted for Anamaximder has Magnified Persuasion. Since we know Anamaximder didn't have it, and he also had Enhanced Relationship, it was one of these four: Orlok, BB, Hellscythe or Mailliw. 3. Orlok had 3 votes on him when he was only supposed to have 2. Either Paranoid King or Adavantos has Magnified Persuasion. @Orlok, did Phatt specify who attacked you? Whether it was a Matter Disruptor or the Reckoners? @BB, Mystique Chameleon is not playing in this game. Sorry.
  7. "Awwwww, that is adorable. Now I just need to think of a name for.....him? Her? I guess I could just say it? I hope it's not too out of the ordinary to own an owl........ It's perfectly normal, right? Yeah, who wouldn't want their own owl?" Tyler scoffed at the idea that someone wouldn't want an owl. "They kill snakes and rodents and things, and they can make their heads all upside-down and stuff. Totally useful and cool. You'd have to be crazy not to want one. A complete weirdo, right?" He chuckled. "I don't know how to take care of an owl, but how hard could it be? A guy like me should have no trouble with an easy task like that. Thanks Ripple!" Tyler said as he walked away with the owl, holding it about as far away from himself as he possibly could. Also agreed. The inactivity filter will allow our kill roles to focus more on suspicions rather than inactives. (Just to be clear, I don't count lurkers as inactives.) I'm still thinking about where to put my vote. The lynch on Animaximder doesn't really make sense to me. Whenever people vote on him, it makes me suspicious. It seems like an easy place to drop your vote and then not participate about much else. So I'm definitely looking at those who have voted for him. Edit: ninja'd. I don't think his vote on me is drastically different from his usual playstyle. What exactly do you mean BB? (Also, calling him Anna is kinda funny. He's a guy I believe. )
  8. I can read it. (Do I get a prize to go along with that 'kudos'? ) Actually, Araris posted about an hour before you..... So you admit to having paint huh? Innnnnnteresting. Haha, just kidding. I just had to vote for you at least once! I forgot to in LG15.... QueenSteph Thanks Phatt!
  9. Alrighty. Thanks Kynedath. QueenSteph. @GM, do we need to green our votes out in the original post we voted in? Or just in the post we're removing the vote from? Also, I asked some questions in the sign-up thread that you haven't answered yet. Here's some advice from me before I go: @Matter Disruptors, I think we should hold off on killing anyone just yet. In QF11, a bunch of villagers died from inactivity making it very easy for the eliminators to pull off the win. I'm hoping that kind of inactivity won't ever happen again, but I'd rather our kill roles don't go kill happy with that inactivity filter in play again. What do you guys think?
  10. I meant to say this before the game started, but my RP character was going to have the power of invisibility. So, if I make my character disappear or anything, that's not me claiming invisibility. (Or is it? ) No, it really isn't. I ain't got time to post much right now, but I'll go ahead and put a vote down. Kynedath. I saw you viewing the thread earlier, but you didn't post. Hey Emo Ren. Did you call for me?
  11. I'll sign up as Tyler. An extremely average, normal guy. Edit: I've got some questions! 1. Does the act of sending in the Reckoners kill count as your 1 Action for that Cycle, making whoever sent it in unable to use their active power(if they have one) for that Cycle? 2. If it does count as an Action, would it be viewable by using invisibility on whoever sent in the Reckoners kill? 3. If you use invisibility on a player who used both their active power and passive power in the same Cycle, what results would you get? Would you get both? Or only one of them? 4. Do Forcefields protect from all attacks, or just one? Meaning, is there double-tapping in this game? 5. Is the Reckoners kill distinguishable from the Matter Disruption kill(s)?
  12. First of all, good game Diagrammists! That was pretty impressive that with the amount of kill abilities and action changing abilities we had, only 1 of your members died. Haha, I know right? Although I still wasn't convinced you were a Diagrammist, it seemed like your interactions towards some of them were so friendly! I wouldn't worry about it though, because I usually agreed with your posts when you posted them. (So by my own logic, I was suspicious too. ) What's funny to me about each of us suspecting each other is that it's such a similar situation to LG15 in that we were both villagers, and I'm posting a lot trying to lead the town, and you're suspicious of me. Yeah, we had a couple chances to lynch Ada and we blew it every time. If we'd been able to do that, we would have had more players(because the Diagrammists wouldn't have been able to kill 2 players each Cycle), which would have given us more time to gather information(through whatever means, be it by my scans, Assassin scans or whatever) I know Seonid was upset with himself for not lynching Ada, but I didn't help out either, so I feel partially to blame as well. After Ada revealed himself I initially wanted to lynch him, but backed off when it seemed like the general consensus was that we could leave him alive for a Cycle or two. I'm kind of a coward when it comes to confrontation.... Thanks! I still feel like I'm learning the small details of this game(this is my only experience with Mafia/werewolves or anything, so these 8 or 9 games I've played is all I know), but I think I'm getting the hang of it some. I know I still need to work on some things, but it is nice to be right on occasion(even if it was far too late ). In response to Wilson about the make-up of the Diagrammist team. I think the big mistake that I made in my assumptions was that I didn't factor in the Artifabrians and Lightweavers abilities enough, since they could help us get around the Dia protects as well as the 3 Cooks. I even said during the game that all roles are useful, but I didn't listen to my own advice(which was stolen from Meta. I'll admit that. ). 2 protections, an extra kill, the ability to cast doubt on our information(the Elsecaller), and 8 players does still seem like too much to me personally, but I still think that if the village had been more communicative and active, we would have had a fair enough shot at winning. The Diagrammists did a good job avoiding fire and blocking lynches(AAAAAAA, that was annoying ), and in my mind, they deserved the win. I do like your idea of taking away the Diagrammist doc, because that does seem like it might have evened things out better, and made the information game a whole lot more intriguing with PM's and spying and stuff. All in all though, I really did enjoy this game! I especially liked the faction aspect of it. Although I must say, the only time I let it really affect my decisions was the Creccio lynch. I was practically certain that she was a Lightweaver(she claimed that, and it matched up with Zas' inability to kill her), and at that point in the game I knew that 2 Ghostblood Radiants were dead(Mace and Alv), and i didn't think any SoH Radiants were dead. My hope was that we could kill Creccio and then the SoH Elsecaller, and even up the count(we would have had to kill another SoH Radiant too though, since one of the GB Radiants was a Diagrammist as well). Adavantos, I really wanted to lynch you for that lynch of Alvron. I know I went after Clanky for it, but I was trying to go for the tactic of watch someone who is suspicious to see if you can catch more of their friends. Kipper had already put a vote on you for your last minute vote of Alvron, and thinking back on things, it probably would have been best to drop a second vote on you to put pressure on you or to get one of your teammates to defend you, but I really thought people would discuss that lynch more than they did and Ada would get questioned more than he did. I couldn't believe it when my scan of Alv came back as Elsecaller of all things. I was like, no way did the Diagrammists just get that lucky. Turns out you kinda did, since I don't think you knew about his role? Man, an invincible(except by lynching) Alvron would have been so perfect, and just the thing the village would need. Darn that RNG that allowed you to sway Kippers vote away from Venture! Ada, personally I'm not really upset at you for your lies. I put too much faith into something a known Diagrammist gave us. Lesson learned. One thing I want to point out is that I really wouldn't have minded if you'd killed me. Winning is way above surviving for me. I honestly could care less about surviving these games. So in the future, feel free to kill me! Oh, wait...... Also, just wanted to explain myself a little. The reason I didn't include Tony Shark in the Diagrammist numbers was because I didn't see any way for him and Aonar to both be evil and the game to have continued for as long as it did, because it would have put the numbers at 7:5 in favor of the Diagrammists, which is what it turned out to be. I just thought the win condition was for the Diagrammists to outnumber us. So I was playing with the assumption that we still had numbers on them, which would mean it was 7:5 in our favor. Thank you Wilson for the compliment, and even though I was too late in finding the Diagrammists, it was fun figuring (most) things out that last Cycle. Another thank you to Wilson and one to my Skaa Bro Kas as well, for being awesome GM's. I loved the write-ups, and the complexity that this game had was really fun(if frustrating at times) for me. I think that's about all of my thoughts. Elbereth, maybe me and you should go recruiting! Return of the Ghostbloods! We'll be back..... #Ghostblood4life
  13. Feligon, we need to kill the Diagrammist protection before we move on to other targets. So unless you believe that Seonid is the Diagrammist protection, you need to change your vote to someone else who is most likely the Diagrammist protection. I believe it's Twei. Kynedath saw her targeting Ada when he was protected from his first lynch, and she claimed Assassin and gave unprovable scans as proof of her role. Edit: So here's my thoughts in case I die. Village: Lopen(Scholar), Kynedath(Assassin), polking(Surgeon), Venture(Runner), Tony Shark(Artifabrian), Seonid(Lightweaver), Feligon/Elbereth(???/Assassin), Feligon/Elbereth (haha, confusing I know, but if we've killed a Ghostblood Diagrammist already, then I think they're both innocent, but if we haven't, I believe one of them is a Diagrammist and I'm having trouble deciding which one I think it is.) Diagrammists: Adavantos(Cook), Twei(Edgedancer), PK(Scholar), Aonar(Elsecaller), Feligon/Elbereth(???/Assassin) I'm almost 100% sure about the first four of those Diagrammists. This is the order that I personally would lynch them. This Cycle: Twei(of course, because then we can lynch the others without fear of getting blocked) Cycle 12: Ada(to take away their 2nd kill ability) Cycle 13: Aonar(to take away his protection from Seonids ability to redirect their kills. So if Seonid is dead at this point, I wouldn't care if you lynched PK or Aonar) Cycle 14: PK Cycle 15: Feligon/Elbereth What I find suspicious about Elbereth is that if you look back at her posts with the facts that Ada, Mailliw and PK are Diagrammists, and the facts of what the Diagrammist team seems to be made of rolewise, it seems that Elbereth has been voicing opinions about those players and roles that would benefit the Diagrammists more than the Village. I will number the posts in which she did so for each separate fact.
  14. Could we get some more votes on Twei please? I don't want the eliminators to swoop in and tie the lynch or overpower it, and it's pretty much agreed that Twei is the Diagrammist protection right? So to those who have yet to vote, or who've not voted on Twei, please do so now. Venture(could you change your vote over to Twei because Ada can't be lynched). Also, Feligon, if you are innocent, mind putting another vote on Twei? PK, I feel like I've already answered everything that you bring into question in your post. I believe that Clanky was innocent too, and that my scan of him being a Diagrammist was messed with by an Elsecaller. As you say, it doesn't seem like it would make sense for the Diagrammists to have started with 2 lynch protective abilities, so by that logic, Clanky could not be a Diagrammist since Ada was protected.
  15. I numbered your paragraphs so I could reply clearly to each point. 1. I still believe that Twei is evil. My scan of Clanky as a Diagrammist does nothing to change my mind of that fact. I don't believe that the Diagrammists started with 2 lynch protective abilities because that would break the game(and I pretty sure Wilson would go to great lengths to insure that that would not happen), since we wouldn't be able to lynch anyone unless we had a surviving Cook on our side. Which would mean that all the Diagrammists would have to do is kill 3 players(Cooks) in the entire game without losing one of their protective abilities, and they would have a guaranteed victory. So, seeing as Ada was still protected, Twei is the obvious Diagrammist protection. It's been put forth that the Diagrammists may have a Lightweaver and they're moving protection to Ada. This is practically impossible. I really don't want to go into the logic to prove this, but if I must, fine. Protection roles we know of. SoH: Arraenae(Surgeon), Clanky(Surgeon), Elkanah(Edgedancer). The only way for them to have another protect is for their extra Radiant to be an Edgedancer. I highly doubt this, unless it's one of the dead SoH's because we know of all the roles/claimed roles for the remaining SoH's. Venture(Runner, most likely true because that would be the single worst role to claim on Cycle 1 if you're lying. Also, if Clanky was good, that means he is most likely good because of the attack on Cycle 1.) Adavantos(Cook. Proven) Kynedath(Assassin, proven), Tony Shark(Artifabrian, at least proven that he's not an Edgedancer or Elsecaller because he has not been online since December 28th) Aonar(Diagrammist Elsecaller. Or at least, most likely the Dia Elsecaller. I don't think he can even be anything else.) That brings us to Ghostbloods: Ripple(Surgeon), polking(Surgeon/Edgedancer, proven by Elbereths scan of Mail on Cycle 1, since Mail was protected and we know who the Cooks were), ???(Diagrammist protection, most likely Edgedancer for balancing out the Elsecaller on the SoH faction). So, it's almost 100% that the Diagrammist is on the Ghostblood faction. Who could it be? Feligon(I know his role, and others' most likely do as well. Not a protection role.) Elbereth(Assassin. Basically proven since she saw Seonid target Ada with his Lightweaving.) PK(Scholar, could be lying if he's an eliminator and they have an Elsecaller, but since Kynedath saw Twei targeting Ada, I believe Twei is the protection. But I'm getting ahead of myself) Seonid(Lightweaver, proven by Elbereths scan and that he moved an attack from Bort to Jain.) Lopen(Scholar. Same reasoning as PK's I suppose.) Twei(???, claimed Assassin as that was the only thing she could claim to keep herself from dying because Kynedath saw her target Ada when he was protected. Since I don't believe her scans, and I do believe Elbereths, she is almost positively the Diagrammist protection.) 2. No, I am not supporting a Diagrammist(by which you mean my proposing we lynch Ada instead of Twei, correct? I only did that because it is a legitimate option, and it would allow us to keep one more of us alive by killing Ada this Cycle instead of next Cycle because he wouldn't be able to use his ability next Cycle if he's dead!). I just listed the reasoning for why I firmly believe Twei is their protection, so I don't think I need to explain myself any further on this point. I'm fine with killing Twei. 3. Agreed. Arraenae was taken out by Zas, but these last couple Cycles both Ripple and Elkanah were killed directly by them(and Clanky in a slightly indirect way), so yes, I agree with you there. 4. Agreed. 5. Sorry if I sound presumptuous or anything, but I'm just stating it like I see it. I'm fine with explaining anything that you want to know, and I've given all the information that I can. 6. I didn't mean to sidetrack anyone or anything like that. What could I say? My scan came up different than what PK just revealed. I have to release that info, and I was just trying to dig into what it meant. Anyways, we're going to lynch Twei this Cycle, and Ada next Cycle. It's basically set in stone that those are the 2 we're lynching first. So we have a ton of time to discuss who we should lynch 2 Cycles from now. Which is why I stated my suspicion of PK in the manner that I did. If I die, I want all of you to know how I feel about each and every player because I want to do everything I can to help us all win. As for my suggestions, I'm just trying to propose things that seem like a good idea to me. If I ever do make a suggestion, I try to add all of my reasoning for why I think it should be done. Even then, I won't be upset or anything if you guys do whatever you want. I certainly do!! 7. Thanks! 8. I disagree with some of those obviously. I do believe that PK, Twei and Adavantos are evil, but I also believe that me, Elbereth(probably), and, as much as I hate to say it, Tony Shark are all innocent. Some of that depends on the fact that I do think the eliminators were balanced factionwise. So, with my theory that the Diagrammist Elsecaller is on the SoH faction, and by way of me believing my scan of Clanky to be messed with by said Elsecaller, and the fact that Tony Shark is definitely not the Elsecaller by way of his inactivity, and that Venture is most likely innocent because of stuff said earlier in this post, I believe Aonar is the Diagrammist Elsecaller. That's really the only role available to him. So, since Mail was a Diagrammist(most likely), and Ada is(I wish I could say was ) a Diagrammist, that means that if Aonar is a Diagrammist, he's the last SoH Diagrammist(since I also believe that the Diagrammists started with 6 players, and that there was 3 on each side). Now for my guesses at the Ghostblood side of things. This is assuming that all GB Diagrammists are still alive(which I think is possible). There are 7 Ghostblood players alive: Lopen, PK, Seonid, Twei, polking, Feligon and Elbereth. Out of that group, I am most suspicious of: PK(because he lied about his scan this Cycle), Twei(because of Kynedaths Assassin abilities and her most likely lying about her role), and Feligon(who is the one who I think is innocent if we have already killed a GB Diagrammist). tl;dr Lynching Twei is fine. I think I know who the remaining Diagrammists are. Maybe. The above paragraph is where I discuss my suspicions. Sorry if that's all a bit muddled. I tend to go off-track when I post these longer posts. I got ninja'd by Elbereth, but I can't respond right now. Hopefully later tonight. Edit: Response to Elbereths previous post. I was referring to the Lightweavers abilities as the "way" to lynch him. So I wasn't exactly believing him, since I knew what he was referring to. Since I was suggesting the Lightweaver to try to get Ada killed, I wanted to leave the option for him to move the protection away from Ada. The only way to make sure that happens is to make sure that no other abilities target Ada, so that the Lightweaver doesn't accidentally move one of their actions instead of the protection. Seeing as Seonid is saying he just wants to lynch Twei, we can just scrap this plan. I was trying to give multiple options so that the Diagrammists would have a harder time guessing who was being followed by Assassins. You can pick whoever you want though. See above for reasons why I voted on Ada. Also, if we get another mislynch or blocked lynch, we're most likely sunk. There's 12 players left, and it seems most likely that only Villagers have been killed lately(since we've had 2 blocked lynches, 1 seemingly mislynch on Clanky, and only Ada and the Diagrammists have been killing anyone since Zas died, because of Borts inactiviy). So, if Mail is the only Diagrammist who's been killed, or even if we've killed 2, the numbers are most likely 7:5 or 8:4. If we have even one mislynch or no lynch, and the Diagrammists get 2 kills, coupled with the inactivity of a few players, it's over. If the Diagrammists only started with 4 players, then we're in a good position, but I doubt that, since we started with 36 players. 6/36 is about 16.8%, which along with their abilities and the nature of this game with the lack of information I'd say sounds about right. I don't really know what to say in response to that. I'm not sure what you mean when you say it feels rushed. Like I said in my response to Kynedath, I'm not suggesting we lynch PK this Cycle or anything. I do believe that Clanky was innocent. Mostly because I believe that polking is a protective role, and since he couldn't have sent in a protection because he's not been online recently enough, it has to be someone else. Twei is the obvious answer. I think that's about it. If I missed anything, just tell me.
  16. Okay, might as well reveal this now. I was hesitant to earlier because I'm struggling to understand why PK would do what he did, but I figure I better just reveal it so we can discuss things. I scanned Clanky as a Diagrammist Surgeon. I don't believe that scan though, especially now that Ada has been protected again, and PK just lied about his scan of Clanky. I don't know why PK lied about it, maybe he's trying to draw a lynch on himself or something? Or try to mess with our heads so we don't lynch Twei for some reason? I have no idea, but in my mind, it's pretty damning evidence against him. PK, anything to say in your defense? Kynedath, I'll try to get back with you very soon on lynching Ada.
  17. Adavantos. He's already stated in thread that there's a way to do it. I say we should try it. Assassins, as much as I'd like for you to follow Ada this time and we might be able to catch his protection, I strongly advise you to not do that. Elbereth, I suggest following me, Kynedath, or polking. Kynedath, I suggest following Seonid or Elbereth. If we are able to follow someone who is murdered by the Diagrammist kill, we will be able to catch an eliminator through that. I want you to have separate lists of people to follow so you don't somehow end up following the same player. And if we are able to lynch Ada, and the following Cycle, lynch Twei, the Diagrammist protection will be gone, and we'll be able to lynch the Diagrammist we found through your Assassin findings, allowing us to have somewhat of a chance. I want to kill Ada this Cycle because we have to put a stop to 2 Diagrammist kills each Cycle, otherwise all hope is lost. We have too few active players to play it safe. Please listen to me. Or not, I'm not sure it matters much anymore. Also, Asssassins. You shouldn't track yourself because if you're murdered by the Diagrammists, you can't exactly reveal that later on. @GM's, An Assassin is able to see the Diagrammist kill right? Edit: removed vote
  18. First of all, I wasn't suspicious of you because of your activity levels. You've been one of the more active players. My suspicion of you is because a few of your posts seemed like you were protecting Mail, and maybe Ada a little too. I'd have to go back and check exactly why I got that impression, but it's nothing that can't be explained really. I think I do believe your claim of Assassin. With yours and Kynedaths scan of polking targeting players(Mail on Cycle 1 and me on Cycle 4, I think?), and Mail being saved, and me not dying, I'm inclined to believe he's either a Surgeon or Edgedancer. Also, if we're believing Ada's claim that Clanky was a Diagrammist, I'd say that most likely clears polking because of the way Clanky was kinda trying to lynch him(as well as Ada seemingly trying to frame him by not killing him). As well as his protection on me, and even on Mail, since I think the general consensus was that Mail needed to survive for at least a couple Cycles, and a protection is the only way to insure that. Even though Mail turned out to be a Diagrammist, we know Clanky most likely protected Venture on the 1st cycle, and I doubt the diagrammists started with 2 lynch protecting roles. About that typo. Haha, yeah, I'm a stickler for details. Sorry about that! About Ventures attack on Cycle 1. Now it really seems like a WGG(assuming Clanky was a Diagrammist). Living players analysis: On a scale of 10 being positively village, and -10 being absolutely despicable, here's my feelings. I think I'd still say my suspicions are as follows: Feligon(-7), Tony Shark(-6), Venture(-6), Elbereth(-4), Aonar(-4). With Twei(-8) as a possibility if Clanky was actually good. I trust: Elkanah(9), Kynedath(8), Bort(9 dependent on role), Seonid(7) and the evidence regarding polking(8) makes me think he's good as well. With Twei at about 5 or 6 if Clanky was a Diagrammist. PK has got his own category of HUH????? I need to go over his posts and the posts made about him to have a clearer view of his contributions. I guess for now I'd list him at about 1 or 2. One reason I'm suspicious of Elbereth is her pushing for polkings death. It seems to me that's what the Diagrammists were trying to do. Her reasoning for voting for him were a bit suspect, but not unbelievable I guess. Another thing which confuses me about the Diagrammist team is that my suspects are mostly Sons of Honour, and supposedly all, or at least most, of the dead Diagrammists were SoH as well(Mail, Clanky, and Ada). That seems like a balance issue. Possible motive for the Diagrammists taking out a lot of Ghostbloods early on. Maybe Ada and his group wanted to even things up a little or something. I guess balance wouldn't be affected too much if their numbers didn't include very many of the SoH KR, but it seems as if Clanky may have been a Edgedancer, since Ripple claimed Surgeon(although she may just have been trying to protect herself), and I scanned Arraenae as a Surgeon. Add to that fact that it's very much a possibility that the Diagrammist Elsecaller is a SoH, and things just don't seem right to me. Which is why I suspected Twei was an Edgedancer, and we'd made a mistake by lynching Clanky. Who knows? At this point, we don't have a whole lot of options. I dearly hope Clanky was the Diagrammist protection, and that Ada will actually get lynched this Cycle. It might not be a bad idea to get Bort to try and double tap Ada this Cycle, to make certain we kill a Diagrammist this Cycle. Because if we waste this cycle because Ada's lynch gets blocked, I'm not liking our chances. Especially with the amount of inactivity we've had. Adavantos Wow. I almost did this whole post without voting on Ada. That would have been embarrassing! @Bort, if you get on before this Cycle ends, Tony Shark and Adavantos would be my two choices for poison! Goodnight all! I'll definitely try to get some more analysis done if I survive to next Cycle! And if I die, good luck and stay ACTIVE!!! Go Ghostbloods! Edit: Put the player list in spoilers 'cause my post was so long.
  19. @Elkanah, Ripple and Phat are both dead. So we're down to 14 players now. I actually think there are still probably 3 or 4 Diagrammists left. More on each living player when I get a laptop. @Venture(or should we call you Anamaximder?), No problem. Playing 2 games at once can be tough. What do you think we should do about Adavantos? Lynch him now, and test to see if their protection is gone? Or go with our other suspicions? I'd like to hear your thoughts on the matter. Edit: @Bort!!!, How's it going? Did you attack anyone last Cycle? How come you're not posting or anything?
  20. My scan of Alvron again came up as GB Elsecaller. Which, if Mace Widus scans of GB Bondsmith are reliable(which I believe they are), means that the Diagrammist Elsecaller is a SoH. Which in turn makes me believe the Diagrammist protection is a GB edgedancer. Seeing as the GMs are blatantly tipping us off that we are 'slipping away,' I'd say that means Clanky was innocent, and Twei just lied about being an Assassin, and made us waste last Cycle. Ada, are you gonna tell us Clankys alignment? Or did we not get enough votes on him? Twei Guys, if Clanky was innocent, we're in a bad spot right now, I know. But if we can kill Twei(or their protection, if Twei somehow isn't an edgedancer), then we will be able to kill Ada, and from there I'd guess only 2 more Diagrammists. I do think that we can still do this. I'm not optimistic about it, since our kill ability is INACTIVE, but I do believe it's possible. I don't have time to go through the number of Cycles we probably have left, but I doubt it's more than 2 or 3 if we don't get a Diagrammist soon. @Elbereth, I think that's about it for now, thanks. I'll respond in more detail when I'm not on mobile. I guess I was right about Burnt this time! Not that it helped us any. :/
  21. Well, I suppose I'll put my vote on Clanky. Twei. @Burnt, I understand your point, but I have no idea if that's the case or not. I do know that, if Alvron was a Diagrammist, he could not have been an Elsecaller because my scan on him was GB, and he wouldn't be able to change his own alignment. The only options is for the Diagrammists to have started with 2 Elsecallers, or the Diagrammist Elsecaller simply changed Alv's role and not his alignment. I'm fairly sure that Alv was not a Diagrammist at least, because Ada was the deciding vote(s) on his lynch. @Kynedath, Same goes for DC(DeathClutch). Ada claimed to have poisoned him and I believe that claim at least. DC called Ada and Mail out early on, as another point to DC's alignment being good. HB is actually Honey Badger. Kipper and Sart live on through us! Which is why they weren't crossed out! ( Thanks, I fixed it.) Thanks Ada. And awesome! @everyone, if we're wanting Ada to 'scan' someone, I would suggest Clanky, as his alignment is important to us, in case Twei was lying. I would do a vote tally, but I'm on mobile and it would be a pain. Just make sure any previous votes you may have made are actually greened out!
  22. Thanks Wilson! That's much appreciated. Since I'm sure the Diagrammists have something like this, I thought it might be a good idea to put this out in the open. Roles(claimed/scanned/or soft-confirmed by Assassins): Ghostbloods: Sons of Honour: 1. Lopen(Scholar) Sart(Scholar) 2. PK(Scholar) Kipper(Scholar) 3. Hellscythe(Explorer) Phattemer(Explorer) 4. Zas(Cook) Starry Smite(Cook) 5. Haelbarde(Assassin) Mailliw(Assassin) 6. Shallan(Runner) STINK(Runner) 7. Ripple(Surgeon) Clanky(Surgeon) 8. Bort(Cook) Adavantos(Cook) The ones above all line up according to role. The ones below do not. Well, Kynedath and Twei do if they're both telling the truth. 9. Twei(Assassin) Kynedath(Assassin) 10. Orlok(Ardent) Aonar(???) 11. Alvron(Elsecaller) Burnt(???) 12. Mace Windu(Bondsmith) DeathClutch(???) 13. Elbereth(???) Panda(???) 14. Seonid(???) Tony Shark(Artifabrian) 15. Feligon(???) Creccio(Lightweaver) 16. polking(???) Elkanah(Edgedancer) DIE!!! ; ) 17. Araris(???) Venture(Runner) 18. HB(???) Arraenae(Surgeon) So, yeah, lists are fun. @Bort, It might be a good idea to attack Ada this Cycle. Heck, maybe they'll let us kill him! Or you could just go with your suspicions for this Cycle and hopefully hit a Diagrammist. My suspects as of right now are Elbereth and Tony Shark. Feligon is up there as well. (I'd go for Tony Shark because he's a SoH, and inactive. Just sayin'. I mean, I wasn't able to correctly predict winning lottery numbers that one time, but I'm slightly more confident about this. Slightly. ) Hey, I guess if we want to hear information from Ada, we may as well try to get something good. I'd like you to scan Clanky! (If "The Deal" doesn't cover those who are being lynched right now, I'll ask for the alignment of Jain I suppose.) Also, no hard feelings from me Ada. I just want you to die is all. @Elbereth, I believe Ada has already announced Kipper and Creccio as innocent, and Mailliw as a Diagrammist. Happy New Year everyone! Edit: just striking Kipper and Sart through!
  23. Would you mind hard claiming Assassin, or telling us if you are in fact, just in contact with an Assassin(that's not Twei, because why would you vote for Twei when you knew that her targeting Ada was most likely just her using her Assassin techniques to follow him?)? Twei just basically claimed Assassin, so one of you almost has to be lying, since I very much doubt the possibility of 6 Assassins. I'm not sure why no one picked up on this and just followed Twei in voting for Clanky. We NEED to be asking these questions guys. There's inconsistencies here that just don't make sense to me. If Elbereth is telling the truth about being an Assassin/in contact with an Assassin, it's most likely Twei is lying and trying to get us to waste a Cycle, OR MORE! Since we can't know if Clanky was a Diagrammist or not until we scan him, and even then, his corpse might get transformed by an Elsecaller. Seeing as I was already suspicious of Elbereth, I'm more suspicious of Clanky over Twei, but not so much that I'm just going to blindly accept a few "scan" results from Twei that we have no idea if they are legit or not as reason to lynch Clanky. Yeah, I don't agree with the reasoning of that vote on polking. Mail was attacked on C1, not C2, and in my mind, is possibly a Diagrammist, so if you say you thought polking attacked him, why would that make him a Diagrammist? There's also the fact that that would mean you thought it was possible, or even likely, that the Diagrammists started with 2 Cooks. Thank you Ripple. I don't know if those would be the targets I would have gone for, but I certainly understand the faction aspect of your protections. (I actually got the faction leaders names mixed up multiple times already. >>) Thank you for the protection as well. I know how you feel about the lack of active players. This Cycle has been a little better, but that's mostly because players are revealing left and right! I would really like to know where Bort, Clanky, Tony Shark, and Aonar to some extent, but he was pretty active last Cycle. Not so much this Cycle though, which is why I'm including him there. As for Burnt, I think I'll just leave it up to you guys. I honestly can't tell. Like I said earlier, I would also like to hear from Clanky. It doesn't seem like him to be this inactive. Mostly because he was active, got called out by Hellscythe, then, when Hellscythed died, he has gone inactive/lurker. Also for reasons mentioned by Kynedath. I'm still gonna be able to get on later, and if I think I should, I'll move my vote over to Clanky. I'd like some answers from Elbereth, Twei, and Clanky though. Something about this situation worries me. @Twei, You ARE an Assassin right? I mean, you never actually claimed it in those words. (Okay, here's the actual serious question.) Are you Elbereth's Assassin contact? @Elbereth, Are you claiming Assassin? And if you aren't, is you're assassin contact Twei? @Clanky, Are you a Diagrammist? Could we get your protection targets please? Obviously Venture on C1(since no one counter claimed you on that. Although it could have been Arraenae, but I doubt it.), but after that, hardly anyone has been protected.
