  1. Ostrich went insane. Another Noble down. So assuming the Skindancers are going after Nobles, why not another Vintish? They're richer, and definitely at the Horse and Four. Aturans have a chance of starting at the Prancing Pony, so they have a chance of blocking the Skindancers attack. I feel like this could point to either one of STINK or Wonko being a Skindancer. Or that's what the Skindancers want us to think. Or something else that I'm missing entirely. I also figure that Skindancers are unlikely to vote on each other much, since that not only could take away some of their Elevation Points(through getting DP), but could make their tuition get Inflated if they're brought on the Horns(because being brought on the Horns raises your tuition by 2 talents). Even though you could make the argument that they might still vote on each other some, just because they're trying to help clear themselves a little through this exact logic, I still think overall they probably haven't done much voting on each other. I wasn't in contact with ostrich at all. I'm not a Skindancer. (I wanted to say "I'm Batman" right here, but I figure you guys wouldn't like that, since it might be a lie. )
  2. But there's no proof that Ripple and Anamaximder are what they say they are. I think they are, but I've been wrong before, so I'd rather not risk it. If we know that the Traitor Well-Connected is on the mission, and therefore cannot send in the kill or be able to move a vote, we can learn something if the Traitors kill someone. If the Traitors kill someone with their kill, and we KNOW that the Traitor Well-Connected was on the mission, we'll know that Hellscythe isn't Well-Connected, because that would mean he was protected by False Trails on Night 2, when LUNA scanned him, except that it would be impossible for that False Trails Traitor to have killed someone on this Night and have protected him from a scan on Night 2 because they are in the same group as the Well-Connected player(meaning they would have to be on this mission as well). Does that make sense? Hopefully I explained it right.
  3. Well that's just great. I change my mind and so do you guys. Clanky, it was a simple reason. But I thought it was enough to switch over to lynching Hellscythe first. We don't have any good evidence for or against Hellscythe, and so getting some evidence that STINK might be Loyal was enough to change my mind. I'll respond to your post in more depth later. Anamaximder, I suggest putting Hellscythe, phattemer, Ripple and yourself on the mission. Those are the players who could be Well-Connected, and with the closer numbers, I don't want the Traitors to have any voting power like that.
  4. As Corrin had talked, he'd noticed the girl, Pyra, had seemed to calm down a little. ..."So what do you say? Let's just put this all behind us, shall we?" Pyra opened her mouth as if she was gonna say something, but then closed it again. She frowned mildly. Is she still upset at me, even after all of that? Corrin thought to himself. Then she answered. “I...um… fine." She looked away with a slight frown. Thanks goodness. I have enough to worry about as it is. And who knows? Maybe she'll turn to actually be a reasonable person. "Excellent!" Corrin exclaimed, a small bit of relief sounding in his voice. "I am quite busy at the moment, so it will have to wait until another time I'm afraid. We're sure to meet again sometime soon though, so until then, good day!" he said as he bowed slightly and began to walk away, already beginning to feel a little better for seemingly clearing up the issue. What I really need right now is a good night's sleep. I've had too many short nights trying to learn something about my family's curse, but to no avail. Being summoned by the Masters will make you feel like you've lost a few nights sleep as well. Thankfully I've got a nice room and a soft bed to sleep on. There definitely are perks to having money. As Corrin finally reached his room at the inn, having eaten and bathed, he lay down to sleep and heard a strange noise coming from outside the inn. It sounds like some kind of music, but it's nothing that I'm familiar with. Ah well, it's somehow oddly relaxing, and for that I am grateful. Maybe I'll ask around tomorrow and figure out who it was that was playing the music and thank them. Yes, I think I'll do that. Tomorrow... he thought as he began to drift into sleep. ------ Danosaur, I don't know what inn you're staying at, but I figure it doesn't really matter. If you want, you could make our characters meet up next Term somehow. Corrin's gonna be asking around the inn to see if he can find you. (That is, if he doesn't go insane, in which case I'm not responsible for his actions. ) Vote tally: Mailliw(4): BB, BB, ostrich, Elbereth STINK(2): Silverblade, Elbereth Ostrich(1): Mailliw BB(1): Mailliw Thisismyusername(2): Kynedath, Haelbarde Dowanx(1): Kynedath Kynedath(1): Joe Paranoid King(1): Lopen Security guards(1): Paranoid King(they're just trying to do their jobs y'know ) Elbereth, you didn't green out your original votes, so I think they still count. PK, not really any reasoning for voting on you, except to lower my tuition. Edit: Also, I've posted like 4 or 5 times this Month, but I haven't used PM's much, so I have like 7 or 8 messages to use, if anyone has anything worthwhile to talk about. I'm off to bed now though, so no responses for a while if you do make a PM with me.
  5. Okay. STINK. Hellscythe. I think I made a mistake. That is exactly the right answer STINK(about when he told Ada about Mailliw), and even though I wouldn't say it clears you, it certainly has changed my mind about you. I'm now willing to check Hellscythe first. My new theory is that Hellscythe is False Trails and phattemer is Well-Connected. Regardless, I'm pretty sure that there's 2 Traitors out of STINK, Hellscythe and phattemer. I'm fairly certain that no matter who else is a Traitor, Hellscythe probably is one of them. I probably owe you an apology STINK. (But I'll wait until we see how everything plays out, just to be safe. ) In my PM with Ada, he told me he had told STINK that he was scanning me on Night 2. That kinda surprised me, since telling someone who you're going to scan seems risky, since then the Traitors could either protect that person with False Trails, or kill them if they wanted to. Anyways, I asked Ada why he told STINK, and he told me that he had originally wanted to scan Mailliw on Night 2, but then STINK told him that Mailliw had claimed False Trails, so he said he'd scan me instead. So I figure, if STINK was a Traitor, he would have already told Ada about Mailliw's claim when he got it on Night 1(I know he got it on Night 1 because I got it as well and we both told each other what he claimed). Even though Ada and STINK could have set it up so that it seemed like STINK hadn't told him, I don't think that's what happened. It's too convoluted. So yeah, that's kind of embarrassing. I hate changing my mind, especially this late in the Turn and with how much I questioned STINK, but I think it's the right thing to do. Vote tally: Hellscythe(4): STINK, Clanky, Anamaximder, Lopen STINK(2): Kynedath, phattemer No votes(3): Ripple, Shallan, Hellscythe
  6. Exposing Arraenae was clearly a gambit though, so I see no reason to think that STINK was not involved in it. Actually, back when I thought Ada was a Traitor and STINK was Loyal, I was thinking how similar it would be to LG15b if I was right about them, with Burnt "scanning" Wilson on Night 1 and then claiming to Alvron(a Loyal). I believe I am the only player to have received such a PM from STINK(about him being suspicious of Arraenae). I would say that's a little surprising in and of itself. I couldn't see much wrong with Arraenae's posts, and STINK seemed almost certain that she was a Traitor. About 5 or so hours into Night 2 I asked him what was up(after he said hi), and he said "not much, just that Rae is evil." I replied, asking what reasons did he think she was evil. He replied "everything." I reviewed her posts then, and told him that I didn't suspect her at all, and thought she might actually be Loyal. The way he worded that, along with his post about him talking to someone and then that someone(Ada) agreed with him and told him he was a Hacker and that he'd scanned Arraenae as a Traitor makes me believe that he contacted me before he was "aware" that Arraenae had been scanned as a Traitor. Also in my PM with him, once I had been scanned by Ada(on Night 2, but of course STINk only told me about it on Night 3), STINK asked for all of my information. Then, that same Night, he questioned why I was withholding information from him. He was pretty persistently trying to get information from me in my PM's with him(I had a 1-on-1 PM with him, and I made a group PM with me, STINK and Ada after I was scanned.). Actually, something Ada told me in my 1-on-1 PM may help us see for sure if STINK is a Traitor. STINK, mind telling me the exact time(the Cycle, Turn and how early or late in the Turn it was) when you told Adavantos that Mailliw claimed False Trails? Going over my PM's with STINK and Ada, I'm now even more sure that STINK is a Traitor though. STINK told me last Night Turn that him and Ada mostly talked about Rae in their PM, but that's not really the feel that I got from what Ada said in our PM together. It seemed like they were talking about quite a few different things other than that.
  7. ..."Your turn," Corrin muttered to the other unfortunate soul who had garnered the ire of the Universities Masters. I wonder if there is an actual REASON he was brought here, he thought as he hurried away, ready to be away from the intimidation of having 9 figureheads of the University decide his punishment for something he himself had no idea about. Honestly, I can't understand what it was I could have done to receive such attention. I have been nothing but polite and patient with not only my teachers, and I believe I've gotten along with most of the other students as well, which is a wonder in and of itself, all things considered. A few minutes later, still muttering to himself, he became aware of a girl stomping somewhat angrily in his direction. I remember her. I saw her at the library a few times last month, and we'd pass each other occasionally in hallways and such. Each time it seemed like she had a perpetual frown on her face. Well, every time she looked at me it seemed that way. What was her name? Ah well, I'm sure it's of no importance. He stepped aside to let her pass, but she didn't continue on, but stopped as soon as she reached him. "Why were you not punished?!" she demanded. “I formally complained about you. Do they not think my complaints noteworthy? I mean, seriously! First you make a derogatory comment about people like me who can barely afford tuition and then the masters themselves ignore me? This is ridiculous! I ought to complain about this.” She continued on with how unfair everything was and such. What?! She was the reason for me being brought On the Horns? Corrin thought, shocked that someone had filed a complaint about him. Him! A Noble! And for something he couldn't even recall doing! The girl suddenly stopped.“Oh. By the way, I’m Pyra. You are Corrin and you annoy me. But then, everyone annoys me. I get annoyed rather easily. I’m like that. People in general are annoying. I just happened to decided to find you the most annoying though. You probably think i’m annoying too. Everyone is annoying so it makes sense that I would be annoying to everyone. Might explain things. Huh. Some people get annoyed about how much I talk and how negative I am. Do you agree? Do you believe I'm too negative? I am talking too much. I am speaking too much” she again stopped talking suddenly and looked away, beginning to tap one of her hands against her leg. Corrin was silent for a moment. A bit taken back by the sudden accusations and then just as sudden the lack of anything at all. Am I supposed to apologize? She seems to be genuinely upset at me. I don't recall ever directly speaking to her though, besides a greeting now and then, but that was never returned. How long has she felt this way? I suppose diplomacy would be best in this situation, though I'm not in a particularly good mood right now. "Listen, Pyra, was it? I apologize for any slight you feel I have directed towards you. Whatever it was I said that has caused you such distress, I am sure it was not meant to be malicious or belittling. Even so, I feel that coming directly to me with your complaints would have allowed us the chance to talk out our differences in a civilized manner, instead of causing me to be brought on the Horns! I am a man of Noble birth! I have a reputation to uphold, since I am representing my family as the eldest. I'm sure we have our differences, money, or the lack thereof, being one of them, but surely you can understand the importance of family!" Corrin said, sounding more than a little exasperated about the whole situation. He sighed slightly, trying to calm his nerves. "You ask me if I think you're too negative, but I don't like to judge people based on such a small dose of interaction with them. If you'd like, we could have tea together sometime. Or dinner, or whatever you'd prefer. I'll pay of course," Corrin smirked just a bit, but just as quickly hid it and replaced it with as genuine of a smile as he could manage as she looked back at him. "So, what do you say? Let's just put this all behind us, shall we?" ------- Burnt, it's up to you what you want to do. Like Wonko just said, RP votes are weird. Do you actually want that person to get Discipline Points? Or are you just doing it strictly for the sake of RP. Because while RP is nice and fun, it doesn't really help us catch Skindancers. At all. I realize that might sound kinda hypocritical after I just did that RP, but I'm definitely gonna try to get some game stuff posted later tonight. I'm not promising anything, but I should have some time. This lynch set-up is a little odd though, and I'm not really sure how to go about it. More on this later as well, hopefully.
  8. You don't understand why I stopped trusting you and am not trying to kill you? I find that pretty hard to believe, seeing as I've just done 3 or 4 posts that have been quite long explaining the change. You have to admit that one of these players: Hellscythe, phattemer, Ripple, Anamaximder and yourself is a Well-Connected role, and is most likely a Traitor, but you haven't commented at all about who you think it might be, besides the one remark about Anamaximder. My reasoning is NOT based off of anything to do with the results of your death, but rather on the basis that, in my opinion, you are the most likely player out of those mentioned to have lied about their role in on way or another, and therefore I believe you are a Traitor. So is no one else gonna weigh in on this situation? Clanky, you asked for discussion, but now you aren't talking. What's up? What do you think? Ripple, your role is out there now. You must have scanned someone last Night Turn right? Could we get that information please? Hellscythe, do you have anything at all to say about all of this? Anamax, what about you? Would you mind telling us all of your targets that you chose with your Temporal Displacement role? I think that STINK and Hellscythe are probably the last Traitors, but that's only my opinion. I'd prefer if we all were discussing this, instead of it being me vs. STINK mainly(with Kynedath and phatt chiming in occasionally).
  9. I don't mind. It gives me the chance to RP in response, which is nice, since I find it difficult to do very much RP. I'll get Corrin to respond soon, but I don't have the time right at this moment. Sorry. And for anyone that wants me to vote or discuss, sorry, I don't have a clue right now. I do want to get up a post with some game relevancy soon, but I'm not sure when I'll have the time to go over things and find suitable targets for my vote(s). (Varda totally shoulda slapped that dude though Elbereth. )
  10. I thought I laid out the reasoning pretty clearly in my post where I voted on you. But for your convenience, here it is. Players actions on Night 2, when a Well-Connected role used their Action to be able to move Shallan's vote on to STINK: Lopen(PM - didn't send in an Action. Confirmed to be Communications Expert by LUNA's scan. Thank you so much for that by the way LUNA. It was the right thing to do to reveal your scans.) Clanky(On the mission) Kynedath(On the mission) Shallan(Inactive during all of D3) phattemer(Mostly inactive during N2 and probably all of D3) Ripple(Hacker - forgot to send in Action. But, my logic is available in many of my other posts for why she is not Well-Connected.) Anamaximder(Temporal Displacement - I have no idea what he did. Again though, refer to my other posts for logic stuffs.) Hellscythe(Non-Specialist??? - ???. Scanned by LUNA on Night 2 as Non-Specialist.) STINK(Non-Specialist??? - ???. Scanned by LUNA on Night 4 as Non-Specialist.) So one of those 5 players is Well-Connected. For Hellscythe to be Well-Connected, that would mean that one of the 4 other players besides Hellscythe was False Trails, because he was scanned by LUNA that Night. It's probably not Ripple or Anamaximder, since they claimed actual roles. It's probably not phattemer because of his inactivity. So in this case it's most likely you are False Trails, and a Traitor. For you to be Well-Connected, that would mean that Ripple lied about scanning Ada as Loyal on Night 4. Refer to other posts for reasons. For Ripple to be Well-Connected, that would mean that she decided to claim Hacker to me on Night 1 for some reason. For Anamaximder to be Well-Connected, that would mean that he decided to claim Temporal Displacement to me on Night 1 for some reason. For phattemer to be Well-Connected, that would mean that he sent in his order to be able to move Shallans vote during the first 15 minutes of Night 2(because that was the only time he was online during Night 2), as well as sending in the order to move Shallans vote to you(STINK) during the last 15 hours of Day 3 that I didn't keep track of. So I believe that lynching you is our best bet, because there's more evidence against you than any of the other potential Well-Connected players, as well as the fact that I think we'd get more information from your death than the others, since if you are a Traitor, then we'll be able to tell who the other is by what role you have. Yes, I do want you dead a lot. I'm fairly confident you're a Traitor, so for me to win, I need you to die.
  11. Then we'd be that much closer to knowing who the real Traitors are, since someone has to be Well-Connected. If you're Loyal, my best guesses for the remaining Traitors would be Hellscythe and phattemer(because of the few minutes he was online during Night 2, he could possibly be False Trails. He could also possibly be Well-Connected because of the 15 hour gap of time at the end of Day 3 where we don't know about players online times.). Anyways, we could decide as a group who to put on the mission that would be the best plan of action in that case.
  12. If you turn out to be a Traitor, then I'll go after either Ripple or Hellscythe, depending on your role. So yes. Why doesn't that make sense? If you're False Trails, then someone besides you moved a vote on Day 3(having used an Action on Night 2 to do so). The other players are Hellscythe, phattemer, Ripple and Anamaximder. Hellscythe is the most likely to be Well-Connected out of those 4 in my opinion. If you're Well-Connected, then it's impossible for you to have been scanned as a Non-Specialist and for Ada to have been scanned as Loyal on Night 4(because False Trails only protects whoever has that role and one more player), and we know LUNA was telling the truth about her scan on you, which would mean that Ripple lied about her scan on Ada in that situation.
  13. Yeah, that reveal was probably a little hasty. Sorry I didn't give you enough time to respond for yourself. I think it kinda clears you though, if that's some comfort. (Not a definite thing, but I'd guess she's Loyal.) Anamax hasn't done what I've asked, true. But since Ada was a Traitor, he could have just told Anamaximder to do what I asked, and that would have all but cleared him in my mind. There's also the fact that Ada could have just lied and said he DID scan 2 players if both him and Anamax were Traitors. For those who may not understand, Anamax claimed Temporal Displacement to me on Night 1. I figured out that Ada was STINK's Hacker on Night 3 and asked him if he'd like me to ask for a Temporal Displacer to target him so he could scan 2 players each Night. He agreed to let me ask my Temporal Displacer contact to target him and another player, so I did. Anamax would say something like "okay" or "will." But then Ada never said he scanned 2 players, and when I confronted Anamax about it in the thread, he said he wasn't doing what I suggested because he was still wary of me or something. Anyways, with the way Arraenae and Ada interacted with Anamax(so many "A" names! ), I'd say that's some pretty good evidence for him. There's also what I've said before, that lying about being a Temporal Displacer on Night 1 would be such a bad idea, because of Data Gatherers(same goes for Ripple claiming Hacker on Night 1). Here's what happened. STINK revealed Arraenae had been scanned by a Hacker as a Traitor. I voted for Arraenae. Araris voted for Arraenae. luckat voted for Arraenae. Arraenae voted for STINK. So the votes were 4 to 1 on Arraenae and STINK, respectively, until a vote was moved, making it 4 votes on Rae(STINK, Lopen, Araris, luckat) and 2 votes on STINK(Arraenae and Shallan). Moving a vote(Shallan, an inactive) at that point doesn't make much difference, and I think makes some sense if STINK and the Well-Connected player are Traitors. Since he revealed Arraenae, they would make it seem like the Traitors wanted to kill him by moving a vote on to him, but it wouldn't actually make that much of a difference. I kinda thought the vote change was mostly pointless when it happened, since there was no one that was gonna defend Arraenae at that point, since there was literally no reason to defend her, and very good reason to vote for her. So moving one inactive players vote at that point was unlikely to save Arraenae. Vote tally: Hellscythe(3): STINK, Clanky, Anamaximder STINK(2): Lopen, Kynedath I can't seem to recall what Wyrm's take on vote retractions are, so Kynedath, could you please green out your votes for Hellscythe and Clanky in your original posts as well if you're voting on STINK? I think Hellscythe might be the other Traitor anyways, but I'm more certain about STINK. Reason why I think they're both Traitors is because STINK was scanned by LUNA as Non-Specialist on Night 4, which is the same Night that Ripple scanned Ada as Loyal, meaning that for both STINK and Ada to have been protected, STINK would have to be the False Trails player, OR Ripple would have had to lie about scanning Ada as Loyal. If STINK is False Trails, that means that Hellscythe is most likely Well-Connected and was protected by STINK on Night 2, when LUNA scanned Hellscythe.
  14. Yeah, okay. Why were you afraid of dying that specific Cycle? I've thought the same thing, but I wouldn't think that a Traitor False Trails player would volunteer for missions, since there was the possibility of a Loyal Hacker. But nevermind about that. I confused myself a little. I'm not trying to figure out who might be False Trails. I'm trying to figure out who's Well-Connected. Player list stuff: Lopen - Confirmed PM guy. NOT WELL-CONNECTED Clanky - on the mission on N2. NOT WELL-CONNECTED Kynedath - on the mission on N2. NOT WELL-CONNECTED Shallan - inactive most of N2 and all of D3. NOT WELL-CONNECTED phattemer - inactve most of N2 and probably all of D3. Probably not Well-Connected, since he was probably inactive. Ripple - claimed Hacker. Seeing as there's a good chance the Traitors have False Trails, I doubt she'd say she had a role unless she actually did, in which case she's not Well-Connected. Anamaximder - claimed Temporal Displacer. Same logic that applies to Ripple. STINK - claimed Non-Specialist Hellscythe - claimed Non-Specialist, and was scanned on N2 by LUNA as such. So for Hellscythe to have been the Well-Connected player, he would have had to have been protected by False Trails on N2, when LUNA scanned him. Again, it comes down to who could have protected him. The same logic applies for all the players with this role as well, leading me to believe that either STINK is Well-Connected, and has lied to us about his role, and moved a vote onto himself when lynching Arraenae, OR, STINK has the False Trails role, and protected Hellscythe that Cycle, making LUNA's scan useless. For either of those scenarios to not be true, it would mean that either Ripple, Anamaximder or phattemer is the Well-Connected role, and I don't think they are. STINK
  15. Yeah, I know. I remember your reasons. Doesn't mean the reasons aren't lies as well. Also, no, you being scanned by LUNA does not confirm, since the Traitors could have False Trails, which makes players appear as "Loyal" to Hackers and "Non-Specialist" to Data-Gatherers. So if you are a False Trails Traitor, or were being protected by False Trails, then you would show up as a Non-Specialist to LUNA's scan. Also, if you were the False Trails role, that would give you reason to not want to go on missions, since you'd want to protect your other teammates. Hellscythe, on the other hand, suggested he stay on the mission after Night 1. I won't say that means you're a Traitor, but those are the facts. You did say you would be okay with going on the mission when luckat was the leader though, I'll give you that(even though she'd already picker her players...just saying). And what's so important about posting and PMing 24 hours more than you would have time to if you did go on a mission? Did you learn anything with that time? I'll admit it's a little boring, but it's only 24 hours, and not something that I would think you'd be that bothered by. I've double checked the facts, and can confirm that Elbereth wasn't the Well-Connected player who moved a vote, and that Shallan was not either. Phattemer was only online for about the first 10 minutes of Night 2, and I know he wasn't online during about the first 36 hours or so of Day 3, so it's unlikely he moved a vote. I only wish I'd done the online times of all the players a little more often. Ah well.
  16. I was saying that since it was almost certain that Shallan wouldn't show up, it's possible you knew she'd die because of that, meaning that you would be a Traitor. The fact that you didn't suggest the possibility of her surviving is what I'm pointing out. BB messaged me at the start of the Night where he killed Ada, telling me that he was gonna attack Ada, so I thought I'd test you with that PM. As you know, I also did something similar with LUNA(which...I thought might have worked, but she turned out to be Loyal). Your responses weren't really that condemning in my mind. I suck at tricking people, so I didn't really glean that much from that exchange. Yes, I thought about MR11. But this is a different game, with a whole different situation, and in this case, I don't think that you guys would be going after each other if you were both Traitors. You can correct me if I'm wrong though. I'd be fine with that. Yeah, I've got the time now. Here they are: N1: Mailliw(Loyal) N2: forgot? - Which could be said to be a point for her, because if she is a Traitor, she could just say that someone is Loyal, since she wouldn't actually have to scan anyone. So we have to decide. Was her "forgetting" to send an order in a Traitor gambit to make us trust her a little? Or did she genuinely forget? Really, I don't know. I don't think she was online much that Night, so I want to believe her, but I have my doubts. It would be nice if she could speak up a little more. N3: Elbereth(Loyal) - Same Night Elbereth died. N4: Adavantos(Loyal) N5: Bridge Boy(Loyal) - Same Night Bridge Boy died. N6: She hasn't used our code yet, since she hasn't posted yet, so I don't know. She has been online since this Cycle started though, so I'm a little surprised she hasn't said anything. No, I don't think there are 3 Traitors left. A few reasons. Firstly, there was 21 players to begin with. 4 Traitors is about 19% or thereabouts. 5 Traitors is about 23% or maybe a little bit higher. So 4 players would be the first number I would think of. Next, they had an Assassin. That's one extra kill. Not a huge advantage, but that's still something. There's also the chance for deaths by the missions. So I'm guessing that they started with 4, with the other 2 being either False Trails and Well-Connected/No-role, or, another Hacker and Well-Connected. Just so everyone is on the same page, here is what everyone claimed to me. I figure it doesn't really matter since most everyone's role is out there anyways, and I don't know any more good roles that I should hide. Lopen - PM(proven by LUNA) STINK - Non-Specialist(claimed to me on Night 1, and scanned as such by LUNA) Ripple - Hacker(claimed to me on Night 1) Anamaximder - Temporal Displacer(claimed to me on Night 1) Clanky - Non-Specialist(claimed to me on Night 1, and has volunteered for missions often) Hellscythe - Non-Specialist(hinted to me on Night 1, as well as scanned by LUNA as such) Kynedath - Non-Specialist(claimed to me on Night 1, and has volunteered for missions often) phattemer - never looked at my PM's. Has almost always been on at some point during Night Turns, but rarely even gets online during the Day Turns I believe. Shallan - never looked at my PM's. Hasn't been online in almost 3 weeks. On Day 3, someone used Well-Connected to move a vote on to STINK(when Arraenae was getting lynched), so that means they used an Action on Night 2. Clanky and Kynedath were both on the mission that Cycle, so they're ruled out of that. Elbereth was Well-Connected, but Night 2 she never got online I don't think, because she was sick and her tablet had no power, so I don't think she could have done it(I remember luckat stating that she couldn't have been STINK's Hacker because she hadn't been online at all on Night 2, when Ada supposedly claimed to STINK and told him he'd scanned Arraenae as a Traitor, so that means she also couldn't be the Well-Connected player that changed a vote that next Day Turn). It also couldn't have been Shallan, because she was inactive a couple days before that Day Turn. I don't think that it could have been phattemer either, since he rarely got on during Day Turns, but I may have to double-check that as well. So it's either Hellscythe, Anamaximder, Ripple or STINK(assuming that none of the 3 players above could have done it). Out of those 4, I doubt it would be Ripple or Anamaximder, since they claimed actual roles, and so would be at more of a risk of being caught in a lie(be it from False Trails or not). That leaves STINK and Hellscythe. Hmmm. But they were both scanned as Non-Specialists by LUNA. Okay, well that makes me think that Ripple might actually be Loyal. If the Traitors have False Trails, that would certainly point to the Loyals having a Hacker I'd think. So now I have to decide if I think either STINK or Hellscythe was lying about their role, or if BOTH of them were lying. Or if Ripple or Anamaximder had the idea to lie to me about their roles. Well, hopefully this causes some discussion. Honestly, I've felt like STINK's claim might be a lie for a while(mainly due to his not wanting to go on missions, but also some gut feeling), but his involvement with Ada seemed like that would point to him being Loyal. It could all have been a ploy though. STINK certainly defended Ada enough in our PM's and in the thread. Hellscythe's inactivity has been frustrating, but he did explain to me, in blue text, that he had some real life stuff going on that took up a lot of his time. That doesn't mean he can't be a Traitor though. What are you guys' thoughts? Do you think STINK and/or Hellscythe is lying about their roles? Or is there an explanation I'm missing?
  17. Here's my view on things right now. 9 players left. 4 active players on the mission(Lopen, STINK, Hellscythe, phattemer). 4 active players NOT on the mission(Clanky, Ripple, Kynedath, Anamaximder). 1 inactive(Shallan). I personally believe that STINK and Anamaximder are Loyal. STINK because his involvement with Ada, and Anamaximder because of his role claim on Night 1, as well as his Day 1 vote on Arraenae, as well as the fact that Ada seemed to be trying to lynch him(although I am wary of the fact that Ada has tried to lynch his teammates before, he had already bussed Arraenae because of his reveal to STINK). Like Clanky pointed out, I believe the lack of deaths this Cycle points to there being 2 Traitors either on the mission or off. Since I think STINK is good, and I know I am, that would leave Hellscythe and phatt. However, phatt is the one who picked the players, so I doubt he'd put both him and Hellscythe on there if they were both Traitors. So let's look at the other 4. Kynedath - Voted on Ada when I was trying to lynch him. Went inactive for a while. Anamaximder - Claimed Temporal Displacer to me on Night 1. Probably Loyal. Ripple - My Hacker claimer. She claimed Hacker to me on Night 1. Clanky - Wasn't convinced by me to lynch Ada, or to not lynch BB. Also, something I noticed looking back at the last Night Turn, but Clanky seemed to take for granted that Shallan was gonna die if we put her on the mission. Possible slip-up? So out of those 3 players who I'm not sure about, I think the Traitors are either Clanky and Ripple, or Kynedath and Ripple. Clanky was going after Kynedath a little a Cycle or so ago, and now Kynedath is voting on Clanky, so I don't think they're on the same team. My guess is that Clanky and Ripple are the Traitors. I've got to go for now, and I haven't looked into this any farther than what I've put down on here, but rest assured that I'll be going over every possible piece of evidence to try and figure out if I'm right or not.
