Not to spoil things but in the greater context of the story this ends up being a smart decision; Couladin is just not all that important... Sevanna is a bigger fish. Even then... meh...
In addition Timbre is female (Venli), Glys is male (Renarin), Tumi is male (Rlain), I'm sure there are others.
Edit: removed most of the stuff from this post as @yulyulk covered it.
Haha fair enough. Neither of them appear until Book 8 "The Path of Daggers" (although Silviana is mentioned in book 5 "The Fires Of Heaven" 's prologue).
1/2 Correct.
^Correct.
A full explanation, this is a spoiler, though not a particularly relevant one storywise. With good detective work this can be figured out by roughly the end of Book 4:
We actually have some contextual clues that she may be in Urithiru. In Oathbringer when Veil is giving her team lessons about being a spy in the breakaway she details a women at the bar who is Alethi but dressed in a Thaylen style dress. This may well be Tarah as her preference for Thaylen style dresses is noted in one of Kaladin's flashbacks.
I've been rocking the same Venture Bros playmat since ~2008, needless to say with heavy play over the years it has seen better days... With much sadness, I am officially retiring it.
On a positive note, I just ordered a new one:
Something tangently related to Moash's blindness not being healed by Stormlight; Moash still has his Bridge Four tattoo on his shoulder. In theory once he gained Jezrian's honorblade and drew in Stormlight it should have pushed out the ink. It didn't. Therefore despite it all, Moash still considers himself Bridge Four.
Honestly while I was sad about Teft, I was actually really happy with the scene as a whole. Teft ended with what seemed to be some legitimate closure and Brandon let Moash actually go dark. So many authors turn characters like Moash into sympathetic anti-heroes. It's nice to see someone go actually bad for a change.
Good Stuff, since Monday I re-read Peace Talks and destroyed Battle Ground.
I'm guessing this is your first time through DF? In my opinion Turn Coat and Changes are the best books in the series. They are the next two after Small Favor. Enjoy!
Probably Scadrial.
Definitely not, even disregarding my complete lack of desire to own a giant crab, it would probably be really expensive to take care of.
I had been taking a Cosmere break and stopped working on this for a few months while reading other things. This past weekend I knocked out Warbreaker for the first time in a couple of years. It brought up a Nightblood question that I don't believe I've ever seen someone ask.
Smoking would not shut off your Soothing or Rioting. It only stops the Smoker themselves from Being soothed/rioted. We have seen several instances of Vin and Kelsier using Emotional Allomancy while their copper cloud is up. We also see we also see Breeze and his team using emotional allomancy while inside of a copper cloud.
With all that said, I agree that claiming to be a smoker would be the play.
To add to this; At the tavern where Kaladin first met Graves with Moash, Rock describes them as the "Waters of life" in his story about meeting the god of travel; Lunu'anaki (Hoid).
