  1. I saw this book personalization on Facebook, I'm not trying to get my hopes up too high, but could the mystery project be Nightblood!?
  2. The Shin Shamanate have 7, Dalinar currenty has Jezerian's blade in Urithiru, & Nalan has his blade. The only unaccounted for blade is Taln's. He had it at the gates of Kholinar but it has since disappeared. Edit: We know that Hoid does not have Taln's blade, but he may know what happened to it.
  3. I think this concept is plausible, but seeing as the Ghostbloods have tried to assassinate Amaram I highly doubt they gave him a Shardblade. Ialai on the otherhand, perhaps.
  4. As far as I know, we do not know one way or the other if they are. The only confirmation that we've had the Heralds are from the same place.
  5. Odium would win I suspect but Nightblood would be a threat.
  6. Thank you! I have been making this argument for about two years. There is no need for this, the people who are borrowing the blades aren't bonded to them. They can just be re-summoned by presumably Elokar or whomever actually has said loaned blade bonded to them.
  7. I need more Lunker in my life...
  8. The revelation at the end that the girl (and her people) were the enemy/badguys/darkness/etc. made me think of the Wundersail story from WOK which ended up being an allegory for Szeth's killings as a Truthless. I suspect I am missing a part here but I get the impression that this is an allegory for the secret that broke the Radiants and eventually the Radiants will discover that the Humans are the problem, not the Listeners.
  9. I would have to second Mat as my favorite character. Not just in the Wheel of Time but in any platform of story telling. Mat is just great. @Aon Ati, Egwene ended up being one of my favorites. I agree that she is a bit slow starting but in my opinion she significantly improves around book 7 or 8 and is arguably the best character (excluding Mat) by the end of the series.
  10. Nim and Jezrian would be my guess: The Heralds of the 4 orders we have had the most exposure to so far.
  11. You may not be waiting as long as you think...
  12. Anything related to the Kaladin/Shallan relationship. Love triangles are awful literary devices. Some people should just be friends.
  13. We can move this one from "It's Implied..." to "We know..."
  14. As per usual @Spoolofwhool I suspect you have the right of it. Just going out on a limb but I suspect we will find out that the Herald's connection to Honor is severed or at least weakened. Alternately that they have built/strengthened a connection to Odium. SH Spoiler:
  15. We May be overthinking this one...
  16. Well, it's inappropriate anyways...
  17. I used to be "Iron Eyes". And I'm running out of things to know you for X_X sorry.
  18. Awesome cosplay and apparently mild chastisings. Also...
  19. Just a thought I had while reading the new chapters... While chasing down the Voidbringers, Kaladin makes a mental note that the description of the Listeners sounds like Warform and it is noted that they don't have red eyes. Did anyone else get the impression that Kaladin is actually chasing down Thude and the other exiled Listeners?
  20. Going to Jordan-con but not reading Wheel of Time. [And pumpkin spice, because I like to do things I'm not allowed to do]
  21. For moving at a seemingly reasonable pace .
  22. This will likely be of some interest to you.
