  1. There is speculation that the "Hair pins" in Mraize's collection are actually Hemalurgic spikes.
  2. There may actually be something to this: Seeing as there are indeed mine-able gems, it seems plausible that the planet itself has a giant Gemheart.
  3. For the book to be written.
  4. Via this WoB I would suspect that someone burning Bronze could detect someone holding Stormlight but not the ability to hold Stormlight.
  5. That is my point about his Foresight being a Resonance of his powers rather than it being his Illumination. We have never seen Renarin use his Illumination. He even directly acknowledges that he can't make it work. I guess my argument would be that he has never used his V-Illumination. I suspect that his Foresight is of Voidbinding but not a specific use of any of the V-Surges.
  6. I actually think the Stained glass foresight is a Resonance of the the powers mixing. It seems that they only hit Renarin when he is in the presence of a Highstorm or Everstorm. Also it should be noted that Renarin that doesn't seem to be doing it intentionally, I'd need to look at Oathbringer again when I get home but I believe that when it happens before his "confrontation" with Jasnah the sight sort of comes upon him rather than him doing anything to trigger it. @Argent, I think that you are right that he Surgebinds Progression and Voidbinds Illumination. I suspect that he would need Voidlight to use his Illumination powers.
  7. Not only is he both a Surgebinder and a Voidbinder, but he isn't unique. It stands to reason that to have a bridge you need to have two ends. Now we do; Renarin and Venli.
  8. I think I'm in the minority here but I actually really enjoyed Moash's PoVs.
  9. I suspect Moash is Odium's champion however, and Kaladin will end up as Honor's. The killing of a King and a Herald seem like a decent beginning to grooming him.
  10. To be fair, letters between Hoid and (likely) Edgli and then Bavadin would probably be in Yolish not Alethi.
  11. Damnation, I wasted a signed book question... Wish this happened a day earlier. On the 16th I asked if Uli-Da was Ambition's Vessel...
  12. I doubt Dalinar will have his self overwritten by the Unity Intent. Dalinar is likely a Sliver now and not really a Vessel. He touched a large chunk of Honor's Investiture, but not the entirety. I suspect Dalinar's Ascension is more like Rashek's at the Well of Ascension than say Sazed's Ascension. With that said, Dalinar is now heavily connected to Honor and I suspect ultimately, he will un-splinter Honor and truly Ascend.
  13. Not to nitpick (as I'm about to pick some nits...) but technically Amaram's blade and plate were acquired illegally so in theory they are legally still Kaladin's (although he obviously does not want them). Oathbringer on the other hand was legally Amaram's via inheriting Sadeas' Princedom but Rock willingly forfeited it to Dalinar. Also, by the end of Oathbringer Rock has not bound a Spren and is still only a squire so to say he is "well on his way to becoming a Knight Radiant" might be a stretch...
  14. Thank you, I had actually intended to reference this quote but couldn't it and didn't want to misquote it.
  15. This is true, but he was also bonded to Jezrian's blade and not just holding it as Bridge Four was.
  16. This is possible, however, I suspect that Glys is in fact a corrupted Truthwatcher Spren rather than a corrupted lesser Spren. We know from Shallan's observations that the corruption changes the appearance of the Spren. Also the corrupted emotion Spren we see give no indication that they are sentient. By Hessi's own admission, she is not a completely reliable source. It is possible that she is simply wrong about Sja-Anat only being able to corrupt lesser Spren. Alternately, this could have changed over time. I suspect that later, as Sja-Anat's apparent desire to defect indicates that something about her has changed (perhaps her powers and/or sentience have increased).
  17. Mat's luck is likely not directly related to his Ta'Veren nature. At the end of AMoL it is noted that the three are no longer Ta'Veren. Prior to his death Robert Jordan had spoken of writing future series about Mat and Tuon's adventures reclaiming Seanchan. It was implied his luck would be intact. I suspect it is actually a Talent.
  18. I had asked for the Intent of the Shard beyond the the 10 (11 counting Harmony) that we knew. Answer: "RAFO, Sorry not yet..." *Context, I have gotten several personalized books so I think he recognizes my name and I had asked the exact same question after Arcanum Unbounded came out and he said "RAFO, I'll give you one another time".
  19. A couple of the gem epigraphs lead me to believe that some of the Truthwatcher Spren (beyond Glys) are corrupted by Sja-Anat and have been for a long time.
  20. Pretty big OB Spoiler:
  21. Not a particularly weird one, but I don't think I've seen anyone propose Shallan. The "I've been called a monster" line makes me think it could be her.
