  1. Here you go:
  2. A few of my favorites:
  3. Can't say that I do. And yes, it would seem that it is .
  4. @Pagerunner is a really good choice.
  5. Honestly, I have never thought about it. I suppose the one that is closet to me each time. Like a fog; For example, if a Mistborn is burning Copper and Bronze they wouldn't be able to sense any Allomantic pulses (barring being strong enough to pierce the Copper [either naturally or through Investiture augmentation like Hemalurgy]).
  6. Straff I agree with, Tonk Fah always gave me the impression of someone with mental illness though so I don't particularly hold his "tendencies" against him. A few more: Sadeas, Mr.Suit, & Obliteration.
  7. I haven't, but I have read his Night Angel trilogy.
  8. This thread may be of some interest to you.
  9. I haven't, but I will check them out when I get home from work.
  10. I had never heard of them until I looked them up about 2 minutes ago.
  11. I learned this when I lived in Beijing.
  12. "A Banana farm for guns" "Insert Scottish Proverb Here" "A Gorilla at your buffet" "A Potato in a Minefield" I'll add more later.
  13. This is ridiculously appealing to me right now... this day just needs to end.
  14. This is the impression I always got as well. It seems relevant that typical Spren Shardblades are unnaturally light. I strongly suspect that Nightblood's weight is directly related to his corrupted Investiture.
  15. Your signature reminded me that Lacuna Coil is a thing, 10/10 would create Pandora station again.
  16. I haven't read a ton of Japanese SciFi however I have heard good things about the Galactic Heroes series. I have a friend who travels to Japan a few times a year for work and is big into SciFi, I'll have to ask him for some recommendations and get back to you. As for Holy Cross, you do recall correct, they are indeed a Jesuit school. Honestly I'm not the best person to ask in regards to Catholic subgroups. I do know a small amount of the history; basically the Jesuits are a Liberal Catholic offshoot from France that thought spreading education was the best way to serve God, so their missionaries built schools and the like. I am actually an atheist and was attracted to Holy Cross because they have one of the best Linguistics programs in the world (Look up Claudia Ross sometime if you are interested in Linguistics, she is the head of the Linguistics and Language departments at Holy Cross, she is nothing short of brilliant) rather than the religious side of it. From a practical standpoint, the only way that the school being Jesuit effected me was that I was required to take a semester of a religion class as one of my common requirements. I took "Ancient and Medieval Hinduism", because, well, why not? It seemed interesting and while I particularly disliked the professor the material itself was indeed quite interesting.
  17. I had completely forgotten that I had made this thing, but @Dragon314's reminded me of it. I suppose I'll re-open it because why not.
  18. Not a pun and certainly too long for a name, but I think you'll appreciate the quote anyways... This was always one of my favorites regarding WW:
  19. I saw this a couple of years ago but just stumbled upon it again, still glorious:
  20. Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind just dropped on Xbox One, anyone else playing?
  21. It seems to me that @Chaos is getting the nod for the next one, so I'll nominate @Argent for the one after that. edit: Hmm @Delightful, it would seem you are an ordinary adjective of delight once again, fancy that. Also congrats on the engagement .
  22. Almost but not quite, I went to College of the Holy Cross which has been invited to the Ivy league 4 or 5 times in the last 50 years. They are a Jesuit school though, and to join they Ivy League they would be required to drop their Jesuit affiliation and that doesn't make financial sense for them so they keep refusing. I did get accepted at Brown and Dartmouth too.
  23. Interesting, so it can heal some depression but not others, thanks for the WoBs. I hadn't seen that one.
  24. Ah, I found the WoB's; going by what the 2nd one says, it seems that depression can be healed, it is just difficult and it seems to matter how one views the depression. The impression I am getting is if you view it as a flaw/disease/etc. you can heal it but if you view it as just part of who you are you would not be able to.
