  1. Lamenting that there aren't any UK/London side tours just yet , hope it is fun one folks!
  2. Listen to some J-pop/K-pop Twi, your bad day will turn to magical in seconds!
  3. I have the K-Pop group Sistar's song Shake It stuck in my head on repeat for the last few days now. It is so storming catchy that I even found myself dancing to it whilst washing my hair o.O
  4. Jennifer Lawrence? I can see a little bit of her in there
  5. I'm not sure exactly how it was done but it is an interesting idea. My guess it could have been a Shard assisted exodus á la Battlestar Galactica with the Origin in Eastern ocean a Shard created space-gate but I don't actually remember Yolen's level of technology/culture/civilisation
  6. Aye, the Dark Lady made an appearance in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos when Arthas (corrupted by the influence of Ner'zhul, the then current Lich King) killed her in a duel. Warcraft III was released in 2002 i think. It could have been an influence for brandon perhaps
  7. More questions ^^ https://www.reddit.com/r/books/comments/2ytg2h/im_novelist_brandon_sanderson_ama/ctylb76 https://www.reddit.com/r/books/comments/2ytg2h/im_novelist_brandon_sanderson_ama/cty5buo https://www.reddit.com/r/books/comments/2ytg2h/im_novelist_brandon_sanderson_ama/ctxqbak https://www.reddit.com/r/books/comments/2ytg2h/im_novelist_brandon_sanderson_ama/ctxnac0 https://www.reddit.com/r/books/comments/2ytg2h/im_novelist_brandon_sanderson_ama/ctxhdos https://www.reddit.com/r/books/comments/2ytg2h/im_novelist_brandon_sanderson_ama/ctvpms0 https://www.reddit.com/r/books/comments/2ytg2h/im_novelist_brandon_sanderson_ama/ctwudve Sorry guys, I tried
  8. Cosmere wise is publication/release order, which nearly syncs with the timeline (i'll list them by timeline: Elantris (earliest in timeline to date) > The Emperor's Soul (alos set on Sel, approx. 30 years or so after Elantris > Mistborn trilogy > Warbreaker > Stormlight Archive > Mistborn:Wax & Wayne series (Alloy of Law is a standalone/introductory book, the others are a trilogy) then you have the short stories Shadows for Silence in the Forest of Hell (not quite sure when this takes place) and Sixth of the Dusk is the farthest along (most future-y) in the timeline EDIT: Ninja'd by Moogle
  9. I can see a few questions arising: How did they go about studying and observing and what was the initial trigger? Did Aona and Skai have any influence in this regard? At what point did they start?
  10. Vague and evasive, i fear, is what Brandon will no doubt be seeing as anything tying to the main storyline will either be RAFO'd or an Aes Sedai answer. You just gotta give enough wiggle room yet still be slightly be specific. I think most of these will probably be answered in-book but you could probably ask the blade name along the lines of 'Was Adolin's blade previously named?/Does Adolin know the name given to his blade?' and the original Radiant something like 'What was the ethnicity/nationality of Adolin's blade's original wielder? If so why did he dismiss the name if names are supposed to be pass down from wielder to wielder? I think this might be that no-one ever found out the name it was given due to it not being a famous blade, it was never publicised or no-one ever found a name that really fit it Is Adolin struggling to throw his Blade, a command his untrained brother effortlessly mastered while being stressed-out, symptomatic of anything? I think this might have been proto-radiant shenanigans to be honest I know the irritation of so many questions just frothing on the tip of your tongue, tis the same for me. It drives me kayana >.<
  11. Wear your Brony T-Shirt with pride, hold up your 'Bronies for Justice' sign and picket the high school railings! ..wait that escalated a bit too quickly, let me back up a bit. I suggest yawn and say 'So, your point?' and perhaps *hopefully not* take a hoof or two on the chin or just plain old ignore them. They'll be in your past come a few years/months/days time, whichever grade you're in ^^
  12. What exactly is the question Maxal you wish to know, precise phrasing aside? e.g Can you tell us something new about Adolin in the current storyline?
  13. Granted, but their primary fandom is now.......THE HERD and are too busy attending Bronycon to talk about Cosmere works I wish....to be a cloud, because i have major cloud envy
  14. I'd still say it doesn't sound right. After all, when tapping Iron or Pewterminds, your body adjusts itself to the changes the mind is exerting on it (although there is a hard limit on this i think): in the case of Ironminds, when falling from a height with increased weight, their body doesn't crumple/break when they land: Pewterminds don't cause permanent damage to your muscles when tapping for strength. Again, I can't at this time offer another option (storming brain of mine) but I do like your initial idea As for storing intermolecular bond energy, that could give rise to some interesting scenarios, cosmere-wide
  15. I'm not sure why the Recreance happened, but my headcanon was that it was consensual from both Spren and Radiant. I don't particularly believe the Spren could not have known what the Radiants were planning/had planned, especially from the way Kaladin's and Syl's bond has been portrayed thus far.
  16. Aye, via WoB, the Oathpact wasn't as broken as they first thought#
  17. Apologies for the double post. It is only Allomancy that can be applied mechanically, or has it been asked if Feruchemy can as well?
  18. I still think that durability would be too similar to Allomantic Pewter/Feruchemical Atium or Gold. Pewter just enchances your physical capabilties or prowess, making you just that bit more stronger/faster but it still taxes the body if you're pewterdragging. I'm trying to imagine a viable option as a compromise but every time i try thinking of something that can be stored and tapped that represents/embodies a living organism's ideal of Preservation, all I get is something like....recording a snapshot of a person's physical make-up, right down to the atomic level and causing it to simultaneously go into suspended animation but this would be more Allomantic than Feruchemical (I call mechanical Feruchemical/Allomantic Lerasium cryogenic sleep/suspended animation pods for the future triology!) EDIT: Word order
  19. Tenno Skoom! Any other Warframe players, either PC, PS or b0xx0r r0xx0rz/X-box? Favourite frame/play style/weapons/weapon builds/clan designs? etc. etc. etc.
  20. I'm a Grey Lantern, Nothing is our forté. The Dora fans will rule, as they are brainwashing the minds of the anklebiters I personally wanted an all of the above option for Breakfast...they all sound mouthwatering
  21. Started to watch Hunter x Hunter, not bad so far and i've been bingewatching on netflix. Recently watched Accel World dubbed which started off quite well but the dialogue bugged me a bit and it didn't really have an ending to it >.>
  22. Granted, your headphones will play music so mindblowing that it causes you to shift into the Cognitive Realm at the most unfortunate and least appropriate times I wish to study this Librarian magic to create a multi-dimensional portal that bridges Alcatraz's world and the Cosmere, finally making The Reckonerverse Alcatraz Cosmere (sorry couldn't resist) and take over the Cosmere EDIT: Word order
  23. Mmm, i'd have to disagree. It sounds too similar to Gold or Atium (meaning as you store, your body becomes weaker/has less vitality or along those lines) I do agree with your reasoning that the property a Lerasium-mind stores most probably aligns/reflects the Ideal of Preservation as Age is to Ruin given how diametrically opposite yet inextricably linked they were. As for what that property might be, I could barely hazard average guesses but any idea i do think of keeps reflecting Atium. I can think of an interesting idea for Allomantic Lerasium but a Feruchemical one keeps eluding me
  24. Would there be an effect if someone swallowed a bead of Atium if they weren't a genetic/Lerasium-made allomancers? Or would that require Saze/Harmony to add the same amount of Investiture Preservation did when giving the Scadrians sentience?
  25. Granted, those children are deaf and cannot read very well and have next to no hearing (i'm going to Braize) xD I wish to have the inverse boon of Lift and convert Investiture and it's mediums into edible, tasty food that i can digest (goodbye Aluminium)
