IIRC, the flute isn't magical/invested (i think it is somewhere on the AMA cause i'm getting nowt on TL) but there is this interesting WoB https://www.reddit.com/r/books/comments/2ytg2h/im_novelist_brandon_sanderson_ama/crqv2j3

How does the Nahel Bond work exactly? (WoR Spoilers)
ParadoxicalZen replied to Amaror's topic in Stormlight Archive
Shallan's bond was forming quite a bit before her Mother tried to kill her, enough to apparently have spoken the requisite words for Level 3 (as Pattern implied she was a lot further along the Radiant path than Kaladin at the end of WoR; having just spoken her 3rd truth, combined with the first oath > first truth > second truth, making her a level 4 Radiant). So going from this, it is hard to say what Shallan's early childhood was like, as she most likely repressed those memories due to associating them with her Mother, but most likely something terrible caused her to crack badly enough for a bond to start forming. -
That, and i think her affection for him is genuine (I mean, he was absolutely flabbergast when she hugged him) We do know he has access to Feruchemy (somehow) via WoB and he has the Lerasium bead from Mistborn but what I'm not certain of is if he's actually ingested it or is using it to access Allomancy through another method (I recall a WoB saying he still had the bead but I'm uncertain about this. I'll have a root around.)

Does Investiture defies the laws of Physics
ParadoxicalZen replied to WayneSpren's topic in Cosmere Discussion
We don't 100% specifics but Investiture does comply with the Laws of Thermodynamics and Conservation of Energy principle but...it kinda twists them with it's own special 4th Law applying only to investiture (think the WoB was on theoryland) -
What I got from the books was that allomantic strength was/is different for all individuals, regardless if they were mistborn or a misting. It is commented frequently that Vin's strength is quite surprising, given her size etc and when she's being trained by the rest of the crew. and when Elend display's his strength at the beginning of HoA, even Vin mentions his strength is odd. Do you have a citation for that bit? You've got me intrigued

You just summed up my whole idea perfectly (Y) I see what you mean about the Stormfather, but given that he held Honour's power for a short time, and that he refers to Syl as his 'daughter', and that she is an Honourspren (with their rather narrow/selective viewpoint), it could be he has a rather distorted viewpoint, not to mention how he's seen humans behave all these centuries

I think i remember reading a WoB that the continent of Roshar wasn't originally there and exists due to the Highstorms depositing crem over long periods (can't remember if this is correct/exact). If that is true, I think the Origin of Highstorms (the one in the East) is what perhaps churns up the crem maybe. There's a few questions about crem that i would like to ask Brandon

IIRC, didn't Saze/Harmony reduce the allomantic strength of mistings as one of the changes he made to Allomancy during/post ascension so we wouldn't see Allomancers of Vin/Elend's strength (Lerasium aside) again? If so, it does give some merit to Oudeis' idea. I do agree with the idea they're trying to acquire power/create a powerful 'tool' but as to how they're doing so, I don't quite have an ongoing train of thought yet.

And everyone loves leaves on the wind, am i right? ;D (I'm still going to Damnation) xD

I look like...a paradox ;D

I just assumed when that the term Investiture here just refers to plain Investiture, meaning the energy that has yet to be defined/determined by a Shard's Intent, ergo making the metal mind a pool of blank investiture. I see it as a way for possibly accessing other Shardworld's magic systems (obviously accounting for Spiritual hacks/Connections/Haemalurgy etc etc)

Hoid taps Luck to find out where to go next
ParadoxicalZen replied to WayneSpren's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Wasn't there a WoB saying that he still had the bead? I can't remember. It could be he can hack the system providing he has a physical embodiment of it -
I just wanna see some sneak previews for BFZ so I know what i can expect ^^ Especially in regards to green, due to Avenger of Zendikar Am now tempted to make a G/R/W elemental/land deck

I disagree, as the WoR epigraph of chapter 42 reads "But as for Ishi’Elin, his was the part most important at their inception; he readily understood the implications of Surges being granted to men, and caused organization to be thrust upon them; as having too great power, he let it be known that he would destroy each and every one, unless they agreed to be bound by precepts and laws." There's something about Oathgates (vaguely mentioned) in one the translation topics (the one that covers the sketch Shallan drew in one of Jasnah's notebooks) and you can see Jasnah's script has partly faded away in the background. IIRC, what has been translated so far mentions something about Jasnah's pursuit of them in each of the Silver Kingdom cities but she doesn't really give a conclusion as to what she finds. We do know Shallan is currently at the 4th level, but as to whether she was previously at the 3rd when she nearly killed Pattern remains to be seen

I could see Ingest being used maybe as part of a depletion deck (when a creature with it is made unblockable), especially if there's a number next to it e.g. Ingest 2/3 etc or perhaps combining Tormod's Crypt with Depletion and Oblivion Sower (+ any other Eldrazi creature that allows you to access cards from exile) Although from the first look at it, I thought Ingest would have been something like X mana: Exile target permanent where X is that permanent's mana cost from target graveyard and add x +1/+1 counters to this creature (which is practically Scavenge now that i re-read it) or something similar

Harmony is too invested in Scadrial to leave without serious ramifications

The comments of Comicvine's D23: Civil War & Dr Strange article has guys man crushing over who's hotter: Chis Hemsworth. Chris Evans or Henry Cavill

Hmm, good points. And just seen the duel deck lists BFZ is going to be kinda interesting

I've yet to read the WS draft so I can't really comment on Blunt, and we know way too little of events between Elantris and SA, so Grump is a little tricky but I kinda agree with you on that. Thinker, though, could be on 'loan' from or is most likely acting on the behalf of Harmony, as a way to report on the events happening perhaps
