  1. Perhaps Battar, the Truthwatcher's patron might be more apt?
  2. *waits for the Shardpenny to drop and for Maxal to crack some fingers over the keyboard* As for the the irrevocably part, I took that as not only had he been put through the rinser physically and emotionally, Highprince Trollol was now messing with him psychologically and normally he is good at keeping everything in check. So to me he was beyond calming down/mitigating/placating and just let all the emotion burst in one go. Whilst I do support the Edgedancer/Possible Radiancy theory, I'm holding back on making any theories for his future until we see the fallout. He's a wildcard, I give you that As for the theory, i like it and very well thought + set out (You're on a roll with all these theories!)
  3. When you think the funniest jokes are one-armed Herdazian jokes
  4. Wow....that...that is something i've never really noticed and...that actually made me wince
  5. Perhaps instead of being exempt, it could twist the shadow into something else, or perhaps produce a false-shadow. I shall wait until i received an answer for my current questions EDIT: I found this WoB on TL does anyone know who these worldhoppers FROM Roshar are? emphasis mine
  6. Sir Pent was one of the cheesiest i've seen, yet still one of the best Do it...you know it is what the universe requires
  7. I was actually asking myself this with the release of Magic:Origins. I read some articles before but can't remember where exactly. I was actually hoping for a book/encyclopaedia/history timeline or something meself
  8. You and Kurk should have group meetings on this, leester. http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/12247-everything-we-know-about-time-bubbles/
  9. Playing Devil's Advocate, just because they say the mural is apparently painted sideways doesn't necessarily mean it is and it could very well depend on how you look at it, a la falling towards a planet/walking towards a disc etc etc. (very loose point i know, but surely it would have made more sense to paint it more accurately and with the correct actions to prevent this minor quibble? The only thing i don't get is why a falling action, i mean surely simply leaning back or walking into it would suffice as the other Elantrians did (are they planning on belly flopping straight through to Shadesmar or what?) One thing that sticks out to me - wasn't the well from mistborn relatively smaller than this lake (presumably Devotion's Sharpool/Perpendicularity)? What is the cause/Why is this the case? hmm
  10. Would a Gnat be exempt from making Atium shadows whilst burning their metal?
  11. Egad, that sounds like that one time i remember with the Phantom Tollbooth!
  12. Currently, I have Enya - Book of Days and Adiemus stuck in my head. I've been listening to Nightcore'd stuff and Buddha Bar lately but my music taste varies. Got a House music festival next week (bit skeptical but i'll be patient) along with seeing Halestorm 2 weeks after that ^^
  13. My thoughts exactly, although perhaps for different reasons than those stated. This just niggles at me so much
  14. Doubling Season is going for at leas £20 on madhouse...storms
  15. I actually meant put more token mechanics, but populate was on my brain, derp. Is there any chance you can pm me a list of said mechanics please Wyrm, my brain is intrigued now. Currently waiting on a few greens and Magic: Origins Deckbuilder to arrive today ^^
  16. Apologies for the necro, but after worldhopping to the Cosmere Short Stories forum and reading the Sixth of the Dusk timeline topic, I've been hit with interesting questions/ideas that relate to this theory: If this theory proves correct, is it possible for the Selians unite under one banner (not any of the kingdoms/Dominions but as one people/race/planet; Selian), would this perhaps affect how Selish Shadesmar acts/reacts, as well as provide a way for the Selians to use their magic anywhere on the planet, like the Fjordellians/Dakhor Monks do as Horatio said in the below quote? I mean, I know Selish Shadesmar is a mess due to all the unguided power, and all the regional magic interpretations can't be helping surely, but if they changed the Cognitive/Physical perceptions to "I am of Sel, from this area" (as a very basic example) instead of just the area, could this have any effect?
  17. Emphasis mine (and edited to remove the other questions for irrelevancy) Also note that Brandon didn't flat out say that Threnody and Scadrial aren't in the same system (I know it isn't a good reason, but it is interesting.) It is possible this patch could be related to Minor Stormlight Archive spoilers
  18. Hard to say if it they will be Rosharan/Surgebinders given we don't know how SA will play out just yet but it is possible they will have some screentime. I'm leaning to either Scadrians or Elantrians/Selish, and maybe possibly ?Threnodans? and Nalthians for a wildcard. Scadrians > given Harmony's policy on non-interference (well, as much as it seems like non-interference on the surface) Selish > They've either managed to figure out how to navigate/'fix' Selian Shadesmar due to finally uniting as a Planet (this gives me ideas/questions) or due to the difficulty/risk of navigating Shadesmar from Sel, they turned their focus inward to develop space-faring technology. (as others have said) It would help if i'd have actually read the book >.> but i don't really want to buy the whole book >.>
  19. Hmm, what does this deck look like? And i'm kinda wishing they'd bring back another populate mechanic a la Selesnya. Nothing brought me greater joy than to see the look on my friend's faces as my army multiplied
  20. Did my ancestral kinsmen think of themselves as inhabitants of higher dimensions o.O xD
  21. What was the misting that burns up other people's metals by touch? I thought it could have a similar effect to Aluminum for the burner (able to cleanse yourself of any metal-based poisons or accidentally swallowed any of the other allomantic metals)
  22. I was under the impression that Shinovar came about through Cultivation's intervention due to perhaps the longing for/memory of the days back on Yolen.
  23. But we're not quite sure how much influence the Sons of Honour have exactly although you are right. it would be hard/pointless for him to force a confrontation, but perhaps with Ialai's backing
  24. This could actually be worth something. It would make sense, given how prominent Amaram is. It is something i'd like to see as it would provide a fair bit of drama
  25. Did you ever use or play against someone that used Possibility Storm from R2R? It seems like a crazy to drag a game out
