You could argue that Scadrial is a special case, given how much of R/P/H's Investiture went into the creation of it and it's people, further arguing that the extra bit of Pres is a form of Manifestation, as burning the Focus acts as the Catalyst thus allowing them access to that extra bit. In regards to Roshar's, don't forget that Oaths weren't always in place. The epigraph referring to Ishar imposing order on Surgebinders indicates that when the spren first copied the Heralds, the Focus is unclear. As for the Shadesmar spheres, I think the Focus may be bonds/binding things; fabrials bind spren, humans and listeners form a bond with a spren, spheres bind storm light if only temporarily I wouldn't call the Tears themselves a Manifestation, as it is speculated on here that they're grown on or near Endowment's Shardpool

I wonder if it is Truthwatcher spren's appearance in shadesmar which is the cause for concern. Also, don't forget that Lift's connection to shadesmar allows her to touch spren (or just Wyndle) not so much see them as they appear in shadesmar, although that can be debated

IIRC from a recent signing WoB, the Stormfather and Nightwatcher are just a level or so above Cusicesh, with the Unmade either the same as Cusi or inbetween. Given we don't know when Honour died exactly, especially in regards to the Recreance, it's hard to say what effects taking up and dispersing a Shard's power does, let alone a spren with a presumably already defined personality possibly absorbing traits from another

My advice? wait a while till you both have time and the energy for a proper conversation (no texts, bad juju right there) whether that's a couple of days or weeks, so you both can pay the proper attention this scenario needs...that and writing down what you want to say can help a little if only to organise your thoughts. And @skaa I'm with Delightful on this. I went through something similar and granted, I was a bit messed up at the time, but the main thing is to learn from this. All Shards are capable of the same feats, just to varying degrees. Cultivation, and presumably Odium, are just much better at seeing the future than Honour was. The general consensus is Renarin due to the oathgate scene. I think the mystery of Renarin's Spren is perhaps maybe, the truthwatchers are the order thats closest to Cultivation
