  1. As the Oath system is a kind of progression in terms making you a better person, Its more coming to a realisation of what an Oath actually means and represents, more than actually saying it (there was a few a WoBs about a hypothetical deaf candidate, that so long as they understand and convey the meaning of the Oath, the Words would be accepted) we see Kal's mental viewpoint about his desire to help bridge 4 become better and not taking shortcuts + his choice to step away from the chasm (Life Before Death, Strength Before Weakness and Journe before destination). He'd already acted in accordance with the first Oath, it was just Teft that gave his actions form after they found out about it TL;DR - as long as you understand, and believe in, the idea behind whatever the Oath may be, even if no-ones told you the Oath beforehand, you can intuit the words as Kaladin and Lift did
  2. I can only really make baked goods :\
  3. Or perhaps a form grants power/dominion over a chasmfiend, it would explain the link a little bit
  4. Was a mock post Yata I'll have to disagree with you Arg on there being a possible form to transform a Listener into a chasmfiend-esque visage. All the forms we've seen so far have altered Listener physiology but nothing to the extent they resemble a chasmfiend...unless perhaps one grants them a helm with a chitinous-insectoid/crustacean look
  5. All Parshendi are Voidbringers but not all Voidbringers are Parshendi?
  6. I see my nephews...and I'm glad they are my siblings' problem...and not mine too much of the world to see to force myself into a niche compartmemnt
  7. We only know from the Letter that Frost has friends in the org, not that he actually leads them or is even a part of it. It is possible he likely informed them of Hoid's general location maybe, fulfilling his nonintervention policy by not directly getting involved EDIT: what eki said
  8. I see your statement and raise you one Page master (I love that film)
  9. Ah but Urithiru is also political Switzerland for the 10 Silver country monarchies, as evidenced by the room with 10 thrones. Remember, Shallan described 10 alcoves when they were in the chamber, most likely one for each other country as well Urithiru so it is most probable you can travel to the other cities (it could be that the KR used the same locking mechanism as seen in-book to prevent said travel so anyone HAD to go via Urithiru)
  10. Ah yeah, I remember the minigame where you shoot them with the bow, bloody pain to complete
  11. I have a tendency to wander off in group without people realising and having odd adventures on the way before reappearing randomly and making people jump (I'd be fun to have in a horror movie)
  12. @Quiver what was this Majora's Mask side quest involving aliens? Been years since I've played
  13. Nor has it been confirmed that Frost is a member of that organization, only that he has friends in it. IIRC, Frost's 'functionally' immortality was asked about earlier this year and I seem to recall that it was a factor relating to his species, but it is possible he could be holding a Shard.
  14. I had the same dream I had a while ago but different; set up with a slasher film plot but with supernatural/paranormal Influences, same area/setting, few of the characters were the same, except the 'villain' had a slightly different backstory which they had been cursed by three other beings from another of my weird dreams
  15. I just finished a reread and 99% sure it says his stride
  16. I have epic sunburn -.-
  17. Crispy M&M's for president!!!
  18. Nope, not all all. Chocolate fudge sundaes and fries/chips = best thing since fajita wraps, chocolate spread and banana fresh from the microwave. I had a weird thing to post, but I forgot :\ was another of my list of semi useless skills
  19. Heteroflex/bi, but I don't really label it
  20. Pretty much agree
  21. Ahhh, and your view was what exactly? (From what i gathered in earlier posts, you don't believe in it) I'm contradictory in this but I'm more along the lines that it is a social construct; I don't believe there is a universal/divine law of morality, just actions that I guess are 'acceptable' and 'unacceptable'. For me, the terms 'right' and 'wrong' encompass such narrow and nuanced viewpoints that I find most real-time applications and usage of them futile
  22. I hope you're happy in the end I hope you're happy...my frieeeeeeeeeeeeend Great, now I have that in my head (I immediately started thought-singing when I saw this)
  23. I'm thinking back when Tanavast was still alive, Cultivation allowed him to take the lead in the fight against Odium. Now that he's dead, I think whilst she doesn't care much for humanity, she still has a major bone/Splinter (haha) to pick with Odium. I wonder if she's orchestrating Odium's release to try take him out, futuresight is one of her top skills after all
  24. What was Morzathoth's debate in the Random thread from o'er yon? Completely missed that. And I hold to a more nihilist philosophical mindset.
