  1. Gamma: I have been in the passenger car all 3 cycles. yes, I probably have some money. Although not as much as you would think, only 8 coins. I began with 1, got it doubled + vote coin, and cycle 2 got my 3 doubled plus 1 vote + 1 post. i have profited 4 coins so far from the passenger car, and hope to get much more. Besides, who cares about the assassin. I can buy a medical kit every turn if I can bet at least 3 coins. Oh, and Bort, this is the second time you've made an "accidental" second vote on me...
  2. Seixa smiled. He had barely gotten away from those horrible cultists in Kae. He'd even known a few of them. Besides, just because a man was a priest wasn't any reason to attack them! And then, once he'd almost escaped, he was brought up on charges of slander AND libel! Gah, what a nightmare... but eventually he'd broken out of the jail and made his way down here to the Rose Empire. He did stand out a bit, what with the glowing body and Shu-Korath robes, but he was sure that in this land of scholastic distinction, men would overlook such a slight issue. Seixa, a Shu-Korath Elantrian, signing up!
  3. That was a bit confusing at first, but I think I get it now. So role lock on the CC who is making the kill will still stop the kill, right? And Shallan, I'm glad to have the opportunity to say "Nice math". I looked through it and it all seems correct and well thought-out. I would mention that it is already cycle 2, about to be cycle 3, and can we get a math person for how soon we need to get the first CC? (Shallan?) We can probably assume that it will be pretty random early on, but maybe make it more likely the later in the game it is? I don't have any idea though. Thanks!
  4. The thing is, while Adamir does seem suspicious, he hasn't really DONE anything. Sure, he was a target for the lynch yesterday(right?). Sure, he was protected by a random(that has been confirmed, right?) roleblock. Sure, he defended himself. All of those things make PERFECT sense if he is a Coinshot. However, they also make sense as a villager. So what we need to think about is: in a world where we KNOW Adamir is a villager, what would he have done in those situations? In a world where he is DEFINITELY a Coinshot, would he have done the same thing? If he would have done the same thing in either case, there's not really a point in lynching him. We could just as well lynch someone random. Of course, we could just lynch him as the random person. I don't really have a big opinion on this, but we do need to consider both sides.
  5. Ah, but Adamir, there wouldn't have to be a doc, eh? I know that if I were a CC, I would definitely be trying to roleblock voters for me, though it might be a bit obvious. Suspicious people, at the risk of being targeted(in no particular order): Bort: He got roleblocked. Is there a reason for that? Edit1: Apparently not. Adamir: Yeah, everyone has already said the reasons. Roleblock saved him, yadda yadda yadda. Over-protested a lynch on him, though that doesn't really look bad. Who wants to be lynched? Meta: Proposed a plan that looks like (?) it would help the CC more? (Unclear, can someone from the buffet car explain more?) Many many others. I'll edit this later to reflect them.
  6. I'll vote for myself. Phattemer. The thing is, although Adamir's defense seems a bit strange, I think I did that exact same thing in MR5. Very common reaction to the threat of lynchitude. I'll also repeat Adamir's request to write-up my own death.
  7. Leif Erikeller. bridge boy, nothing personal, you just won't be lynched and I want monies. Wait why am I doing this? Leif has only my vote! bridge boy leif erikeller. Members of the Passenger Car: Myself Little Wilson jasonpenguin Lightsworn Panda Seonid Neodymium Eowyn Shallan But is that even relevant anymore?
  8. I've only been able to once. it went a lot like how you were saying. Basically, I was in a shop and there was someone behind a counter, and then I realized that when I looked away the shop changed. I almost woke up then but stopped myself. The only thing I did, however, was change who was behind the counter. I hadn't even considered attempting allomancy etc. Thanks for suggesting!
  9. I would like to announce that 17thshard has many many many new people! Yay!
  10. FireSlayer: do this: [*spoiler] text in spoiler minus the asterisk
  11. Who? Cofal Erikell When? Turn 2, Action 1 What? Try for an heir Where? Luthadel Why? continue the line of erikell, get more allomancy, etc. Kinna- girl. Falco- boy.
  12. ...I don't get it.
  13. My sister gave me Way of Kings last September. I got Words of Radiance on Christmas, started reading it at 12(AM) and finished at 6:30 AM. The reason I was able to get WoR was because I had received an amazon gift card for my kindle, which I then used to buy all others.
  14. Seixa groaned. Every time he tried to do ANYTHING, suddenly a group of baddies appeared that he had to find. Be a hallucination? Baddies. Draw some chalklings? Baddies. Live in some caves? Baddies. Visit the King's Court? Baddies. Bet some coins? Baddies. Lurch some atium? Baddies. And now he was just trying to get to... er, let's not mention that, and still there were BADDIES. He would just have to kill them. Hmph.
  15. My sister is reading in the room over from me. Literally every single time I look over, within 5-10 seconds she looks back. It's not like she is just reading while looking up every 10 seconds. Heightening confirmed.
  16. I'd also be interested, though I wasn't part of it earlier.
  17. Again from the ongoing AMA, a new tidbit about the Listeners: The gods that the Parshendi abandoned are of Odium. Awaiting answer on whether they're the Unmade.
  18. You can just PM Wyrm with your actions. Only one needs to be public. Oh, and remember that right now, Luthadel is basically the entire Final Empire.
