You have the alloy and base backwards. Steel is made from iron ad carbon, not the other way around. I asked Wyrm about that, and he said that for now, the only known Allomancers are the 9 Mistborn. That game sounds great!

Lord Cofal Erikell looked around at his fellow Lords. He knew that they were ostensibly all equivalent, but he still could tell who had had power before the Ascension and who had not. Privately, he began to refer to the *better* group as Great Houses. The others he called Minor, for they would need to hang on the coattails of their greaters in order to succeed. As he considered, he remembered Allomancy. He still didn't fully understand the mystical power, but he had been experimenting in the previous weeks. Though he didn't like to, Cofal knew that he had to include the other newborn Mistborns' houses in the Great Houses. He was somewhat shocked at the choices for the other Allomancers. Cofal himself was an obvious choice, but some of the others... was that Walin Walin? His parent and brother had spoken out against Rashek- no, The Lord Ruler- but yet he was now an Allomancer. Perhaps the Lord Ruler was trying to cement his loyalties? Walin wasn't the only... strange... choice, but some of the others, like Ven Orielle and Locke Tekiel were excellent choices. They were intelligent enough to learn about their powers, ruthless enough to remain at the top, and sensible enough to consider an alliance. Cofal sent a messenger out to them to discuss a temporary bloc. Cofal had learned that Allomancy was hereditary from the Lord Ruler, and as such, he is Trying for an Heir to hopefully gain an edge in Allomantic power.

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
phattemer replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
If you've read the first four, it is worth it to read Blood. You might not like it, but maybe you will. -
You Know You're a Sanderfan When...

Well, I don't know about you, but it seemed like it crammed way too many plots into one book. Not to mention the LITERAL dei ex machina. -
You Know You're a Sanderfan When...

Yeah, the first four in the second series weren't too bad. The fifth though... -
Here is a quote from the pretty recent AMA on reddit. "Boy, I do get this one a lot. I'm wary of saying anything until Calamity is out, not because Regalia's weakness is specifically relevant, but because I've found that even the most innocent of things I say can sometimes lead to spoilers. The nature of the weaknesses is a big part of the three book arc of the Reckoners, so I don't want to hurt anything. That said, as I mentioned, Regalia's weakness is not actually relevant. I've just been avoiding the question for reasons stated above. Regalia's weakness was being proven wrong. If you could figure out something she'd done incorrectly, and prove it to her so she couldn't avoid the truth, she'd briefly lose local control of her powers. But I didn't want that book to be about figuring out/using her weakness, in order to distinguish it from books one and three, which use that as the major plot. So I avoided bringing up the idea, or really even using it in the story at all." Pretty interesting, eh? My theory is that Regalia(Edit: who was a judge) would not want to sentence an innocent or pardon a guilty person, and thus she was extremely scared of being wrong. But I think that isn't all. Sourcefield wasn't just scared or Kool-Aid, they almost died because of it. Perhaps Regalia helped free a serial killer?

Master List of Origins™: the Ultimate Nationality Thread
phattemer replied to Aether's topic in General Discussion
...the horribleness I was referring to was the apparent lack of Sanderfans. Though this data: "With a crime rate of 69 per one thousand residents, Cincinnati has one of the highest crime rates in America compared to all communities of all sizes - from the smallest towns to the very largest cities. One's chance of becoming a victim of either violent or property crime here is one in 15." is much better for keeping me up at night, so now I will have more time to read Stones Unhallowed! Thanks SO much. -

...this makes me sad. Every single person on here is at least several hours from Cincinnati. Nobody from Ohio, West Virginia. OR Kentucky? I had not realized what a horrible state I live in... -
For being the first new player to make kasimir's "Threat Level:Midnight" list in Sanderson Elimination.

Alloy of Law era Mistborn rp [Planning+Characters]
phattemer replied to Kestrel's topic in Inactive RPs
I'd say go ahead, but she is the creator, so maybe wait? Lark said next Saturday, which was a while ago now... -
Well, in that case you would be a Mistborn, so I'd hazard a guess that you'd know.

I could have just gone with ErikellER, but still, lucky for me. Also... if the player number corresponds to the metal they get(I have no idea why)... then Erikell controls ALL atium in the FInal Empire. Fear me! Also, maybe I should not have signed up since I was the 17th person... expect some worldhoppers incoming.

I am getting the Mistborn Adventure Game, but right now I only have two other friends to play it with(I would probably narrate). Anyone in the Midwest/Tristate/Ohio/Cincinnati area who is interested in playing? If so, reply to this and I'll shoot you. (a PM)

Did you know that that patch of stars if the same one visible from Threnody? It's the planet of Shadows for Silence, btw.

You could sign up as a pinch hitter for LG12. Just PM Herowannabe or Tulir. -
What I meant was whether they were created by a shard, but it wasn't very clear. Oh well.

Brandon is still answering questions on the reddit AMA, so I asked this: Were the Plains shattered by a dawnsinger(related to cymatics)? And also this: Were the Parshendi originally from Roshar, since they aren't originally of Honor or of Cultivation.

Rate the Signature Above You!!

I like it. Spoiler tags well used as to take up space, and many interesting theories and links inside the tags. Also had a link to a very intriguing society that unfortunately, I can't join, since I am a Full Mistbearer. 8.5/10- did not include sanderson elimination stats- not playing is no excuse -
Maybe the Dawnsingers are related to the Shards, and one of them was evil and used their Dawnshard to shatter the plains. (*hem hem* Rayse *hem hem*.) Not an actual theory, but they could be related as in there are 16 of them, maybe even each Shard has one.
