There was recently a war against the Parshendi; i think…

"Maleril Ostrin Chalev Tekil, milady," Maleril answered. "Let's start with this one," he decided, walking over to a particularly angry looking assassin. "Don't worry; this won't hurt a bit!" He jabbed one of the Aluminum spikes deep into the assassin's thigh, ignoring the cries of pain. "Now for step two of my Identification process… Someone! Get me a walrus!" A nearby attendant quickly obliged, bringing a rather grumpy specimen. It looked up in distaste at the strange metal tusk moving towards its head. It had had a bad day; first it hadn't been able to find any food, then some ugly humans had kidnapped it. It didn't even want to think about this new trouble-- The walrus's pondering was interrupted by the Spike entering it's eye. "Never mind where that walrus came from, it is now time for step three of my patented Identification process," Maleril announced. He then turned to address the walrus: "What is your name, and what is your purpose here?" he asked, startling everyone around him; they must have thought he was mad. The answer came out slowly: "I am Mitch the walrus, and I am here to--" The spike suddenly glowed brightly, than stopped. The walrus paused before continuing: "My name is Aryund. I don't know why I am answering this, but it might have to do with the shock of being in a walrus's body. We were sent by the Parshendi to kill Queen Elsa Steelheart in revenge for the lost war."
-
Maleril Tekil materialized in the ballroom, holding several small Spikes. He had heard the news, and he was eager to be of service to the Dark Alley; he had neglected his allegiance for too long. "Queen Steelheart! The Dark Alley is offering its help! Would you like these assassins Identified?" he offered, eagerly holding up his Aluminum Spikes. "I can perform my foolproof Identity test; there is only a 3% chance that the assassins will lose their Identities due to Hemalurgic decay…"

I have a lot of Aon doodles on schoolwork. I also at one point started doodling Cryptics, but got bored. Can I join as a musician? (and Aon drawer)

Lord Tekiel counted his Breaths. He knew he was at the fourth heightening; he could sense the people around him. However, he wanted to know his exact total: One thousand thirty-five; One thousand thirty-six; One thousand thirty-- He was interrupted by Stew Finch's loud request for death. Tekiel spun around, whipping out a large shard of glass. "Stew Finch, are you sure you wish to die? I will gladly help to grant your request…" Lord Tekiel offered, awaiting his response, "I will help you for a small sum of two thousand boxings." After making his offer, Tekiel prepared his weapon. He had not had a chance to practice his Awakening in a while, so he was eager now. "Attack Finch when I snap my fingers," he Commanded, releasing a small fortune's worth of Breath into the shard. The small fragment of glass almost seemed eager to complete its task.

I've noticed that a lot of Sanderson fans, including myself, have obtained and read copies of White Sand, and really like to be able to discuss it with others. I saw on the rules board that this is planned to be implemented as private boards, and I think that that's a very good idea. Maybe there could be some kind of verification that you actually have read it?

Is there a limit to how many people can be mistwraiths? Why wouldn't anyone want to be a mistwraith?

I am signing up as Lord Ostrich Malescei Tekiel II, Descendent of Lord Ostrich Malesei Tekiel. Since the events of AG, house Malescei-Tekiel has moved to Roshar, Sel, Nalthis, and back to Scadrial. Lord Tekiel has a large inheritance of Breaths, passed down from his Nalthian forbears, and has taken up the profession of his great-great-great-grandfather: Stained Glass. He now creates Awakened stained glass windows, which shift their designs depending on the mood of their owners.

Mid-Range Game 5: Competing Realities
ostrichofevil replied to Alvron's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Atreides Agamemnon had had enough. From his satchel, he pulled a strange knife, steel on one side and silvery on the other. He was very careful not to touch the blade; this knife was more powerful than a Shardblade. In fact, it was so powerful that it could cut through worlds. He carefully stabbed the air with the knife, then drew it downwards. A strange rending fee— Atreides Agamemnon had had enough. From his satchel, he pulled absolutely nothing. He shook his head in disbelief; where had it gone? He searched around, but the object that Atreus's son looked for did not exist. Suddenly, a ghostly figure appeared, clad in white. "Agamemnon, I am the ghost of Lady Ostrisce Maleris Tekiel. I am here to inform you that your possesion of the Shshsh Shshs created a distortion in the fabric of the universes. Luckily, I reset time, and removed the offending object. I am sorry, but that or no other method will allow you to leave this arena." The ghost faded away, leaving nothing but an outline of Shsh.- 457 replies

Agamemnon was furious. First he had been transported to this strange arena, then his doll had been knocked out of his hands. He walked up to the Offender and inquired as to the Offender's preferred method of Death.- 457 replies

Mid-Range Game 5: Competing Realities
ostrichofevil replied to Alvron's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Agamemnon surveyed his competition. He took particular note of the ugly Koloss and the Cleo-Kae duo; they would be problems (he'd have to watch out, though, as they could be from his home universe). He also noted the Chromium Compounder. He could take him out easily; two Spikes removed, and that Twinborn would be powerless. The luck would be a problem, though. Agamemnon would have to find a Soulcaster to destroy all Chromium in the arena--and his opponents, too. "Aggy, I have an idea," Menelaus abruptly stated. "Let's call a temporary truce while we find our allies." "Great idea!" Agamemnon answered. "But don't call me Aggy!" -- Listen. Don't make any kills at first; let's find our teammates. Also, I have a question for Alvron: will there be voting? What will it entail?- 457 replies
