  1. To be honest, I'm not that interested in the Shardic Number Theory anymore. I just thought it would be fun to fill in the previously redacted section of Tempus's post.
  2. Here is what I have been able to do: We don't know much about Bavadin, but there are a few options. There are five shshshshsh, and a shshshshsh can have five shshshshsh. The religious texts on Taldain are five hundred years old. There are eight Professions, who elect eight Masters, and Sand Masters spent eight years training. The Kershtian religion sends eight assassins at shshshshsh per day. There are also nine ranks of Sand Master, nine people in Reegent's expedition, a maximum of nine Ribbons without over-mastering, and nine Profession if you count the beggars. This paragraph brought to you by the Librarians.
  3. Last May, Tempus posted something that he/she called "Shardic Number Theory." Tempus included a section that discussed Bavadin (now known as Autonomy), the shard on Taldain, but had to censor most of the White Sand-Specific words. Here is the section: Bavadin - Five, Eight, Nine We don't know much about Bavadin, but there are a few options. There are five shshshshsh, and a shshshshsh can have five shshshshsh. The religious texts on shshshshsh are five hundred years old. There are eight shshshshsh, who elect eight shshshshsh, and shshshshsh spent eight years training. The shshshshsh religion sends eight shshshshsh at shshshshsh per day. There are also nine ranks of shshshshsh, nine people in shshshshsh's expedition, a maximum of nine shshsh without over-shshshshsh, and nine shshshshsh if you count the beggars. This paragraph brought to you by the Librarians. Now that we have a forum on which we can talk about white sand, who wants to fill this in? EDIT - I think that it was actually May 2014.
  4. The quality of the tautologies posted here could use some improvement; it would benefit them to make them better.
  5. How is it that we are only on page two? I mean, how can we only have one page before this one? EDIT - Never mind, I started a third page, which means that there are now two pages before this.
  6. Welcome; love the title! Have an upvote and a cookie! Please! Ignore! Nashan'Elin! He does not understand the wonders that cookies can do to your spiritweb! They! Are! Perfectly! Safe!
  7. This is the best club ever (better than the dark alley) because it's better than all other clubs. To begin with, I would like to state a quote that has already been stated by the original author of the quote. "When more and more people are thrown out of work, unemployment results." — Former U.S. President Calvin Coolidge. Tautologies are great, as they possess the quality of greatness. Now, I would like to reduce tautologies to the bare minimum by removing everything except for what I'm about to state in simple, logical terms: A implies A. Math Tautologies! 4=4! i=i! x=x! (the !s are not factorial signs because they do not denote factorials.) TLDR: I would like to join the tautology club. TLDRWTLSDR (TLDR was TL so DR): 17th Shard = 17th Shard.
  8. I just tested it, and found that it works.
  9. The friend was me. You should join the Dark Alley at once; it can be found in the Social Groups section of the forum. (And have a completely non-Hemalurgic, safe, non-metallic, non-pointed cookie.)
  10. Aeaieis walked through the Stacks in search of a new book. It was so strange that you could even get bored in a dream! (It was also strange that he dreamed about the same place each night.) He had long since found that he might as well play along with the dream and make the most of it, as he could feel pain, hunger, and sorrow even while sleeping. He had heard of the recent killing in the Crockery. A fortuitous development! He would finally have something interesting to do for a change. It would be a puzzle! Soon, it came time to wake up. As Aeaieis settled down in his comfortable bed, he contemplated his strange fate; things would have been so different if not for the Nightwatcher. ──────────────────── Wit woke from his slumber. What a strange dream that he had every night! Alas, he had no time to think; he had a list of people to torment today, and Renarin was first. ──────────────────── Lady Eris Esnaan woke with a start. It was strange to have the same dream every night! And worse, she had the strange feeling that many others were having the same dream at the same time.
  11. Why, RP-wise, are the Sons of Honor on the Parshendi's side?
  12. I would totally play this game, but I think that Shardbearers are a little OP. Maybe just give them one kill over the whole game?
  13. YOU DON'T PUT THEM IN YOUR MOUTH! In order to experience the deliciousness of our cookies, you must carefully select a bind point location on which to place them. If you insist upon putting Invested delights into your mouth, our NHRD (Non-Hemalurgic Research Division), of which I am the head, would be happy to provide delectable baked goods.
  14. Can't wait to co-GM MR13: Treachery on the Terris Peaks with Elbereth. Please give feedback on the rules as they stand; you can find them at http://bit.ly/24uGnkV.

  15. Granted, but you don't know the first part. I wish for every single curse that the Nightwatcher has ever bestowed upon a 17th Shard user.
