Anniversary Game: In the Re-Wake of the Koloss
ostrichofevil replied to Metacognition's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I'm suspicious of the people who voted for Satrams, because Satrams wasn't discussed during Day 1, so we don't know why they voted for him. If I get a good reason why they voted for Satrams, I won't be as suspicious. -
Anniversary Game: In the Re-Wake of the Koloss

I am definitely cautious about Wilson because of how many people he is willing to blame, but I'm more suspicious of the players who voted for Satrams. I'm not by any means sure that any of them are Spiked, but they are the ones who finished Satrams off, and we haven't heard any reasoning behind that. I'd like to hear from the people who voted for Satrams about where their suspicions are founded. I am not blaming them yet; I'd just like to hear the reasoning behind this lynch. -

I'm going to go back and once again vote Eoladdin, as I still have my suspicions about him. -

Wyrmhero, as I am a first player I was annoyed at Eolhandren's "trolling" attempt and I'm kind of paranoid. Trying to liven up discussion does not make me Spiked. For now, I am retracting my vote for Eoladdin. -

Lord Tekiel was tired of Eoladdin's mad rantings; who listens to a madman? Today, they would end, for a hanged man cannot talk. He wasn't sure about his suspicions about Eol, but he would not put up with a man who accuses his fellow villagers without reason. He hummed as he nailed his message to the tavern door: Vote to lynch Eoladdin today! Our village cannot handle one more Lunatic, and who knows when another might come along? So, let's make room. Eoladdin's trial will be held in the town square, before the end of the day. If he does not argue his innocence, then he deserves to hang! -- Posted by an anonymous glass merchant. 5:19am EST. I'd like Eolhandras to say something for himself, before our votes are finalized. -

Okay. That's it; too many people are being accused of being a Tineye (or other role). You are not a Seeker; don't pretend you are (you got my role wrong). If Eoladdin accuses you of having a role, don't reply! I think that he is trying to use our reactions to find our roles. -- EDIT - I didn't realize that Mailliw73 had already posted the same thing. I'm not retracting my vote, though. -

I was accused of being a certain role by the same user who accused Winter Cloud. If you have suffered accusations, please contact us. -
Anniversary Game: In the Re-Wake of the Koloss

Lord Tekiel dropped the piece of stained glass that he had been holding out the window. He had heard cries. He smelt smoke. Where? Suddenly, a cry sounded from below, followed by a strange shattering sound. Not too bright of mind (he usually wasn't at night), he didn't realize what had happened. "What's going on? Is it a fight? Has someone stolen my store of wine glasses and been breaking them on the street, while crying, to the light of a fire? (Now that's far fetched!)" He looked down, only to see Newan lying unconscious amid a scattering of broken glass. A servant ran out of the manor, felt his pulse, and yelled "He's alive!" A gravely voice from next door promptly yelled "Pipe down!" More voices sounded in the street: "The barracks are on fire! Don't tell the soldiers!" -- Let's just hope the seeker isn't spiked! -

Granted. Your sunglasses block ultraviolet light, but also block visible light, and are permanently affixed to your eyes. I wish to for 500 eggs of Silly Putty, -
You might not be able to Push the emotions of someone infused with Stormlight, as Investiture blocks that sort of thing.

Granted. The cat is safely delivered to your house. But it eats you as soon as you arrive. I wish for a free copy of the Mistborn Adventure Game. -
I think, though, that Transportation might help Jasnah to find the objects in Shadesmar. After all, the Transportation may transport her thoughts and commands to the objects.

What would happen if Ruin and Preservation had been Splintered?
ostrichofevil replied to Witty Username's topic in Mistborn
I think that each Atium bead would be the body of a Splinter of Ruin. -
Nicrosil Ferring metalmind filling question
ostrichofevil replied to athosdebro86's topic in Mistborn
I don't think that investiture is really that different between Shardworlds; it all comes from Adonalsium. -
Who wins in a fight: Jasnah or Szeth. Post how they win below! EDIT - Oops! Spheres, not spears.

What would happen if Ruin and Preservation had been Splintered?
ostrichofevil replied to Witty Username's topic in Mistborn
PreservationSpren could form a bond with Scadrians, making them a Mistborn (or a Misting in the form of a lesser PreservationSpren, like a BronzeSpren or an IronSpren), while RuinSpren could form a bond with a person, giving them knowledge of all Hemalurgic bind points and making their Hemalurgy stronger. If someone forms a bond with both a PreservationSpren and a RuinSpren, then they become a Feruchemist (or Ferring), and the Spren merge into a HarmonySpren. Also, people could completely fuse with a PreservationSpren or RuinSpren, making them a sliver similar to the Lord Ruler (but less powerful). Lerasium beads are the bodies of PreservationSpren, while Atium beads are the body of RuinSpren. The bodies of lesser PreservationSpren or RuinSpren are alloys of Lerasium or Atium, respectively. Ingesting Lerasium or Atium forms a bond with the bead's Spren. To form a bond for a Twinborn, two PreservationSpren and one RuinSpren are needed. When people with these bonds have children, their child may be born bonded to a new Scadrial Spren. A bead of Sazedium (possibly an alloy of Atium and Lerasium) makes a bond with a HarmonySpren. Some possible Scadrial Spren: Preservation: IronSpren SteelSpren Other VialSpren MistSpren PureSpren (not Allomantic, instead tries to keep anything from changing) LerasSpren (makes Mistborn) Ruin: SpikeSpren (Ruinous equivalents of MetalSpren) AshSpren DestructionSpren (not Hemalurgic, instead tries to destroy everything around it) AtiSpren (Ruinous equivalent of LerasSpren) Harmony: SazeSpren = LerasSpren + AtiSpren (makes full Feruchemist) GrowthSpren = MistSpren + AshSpren FerrSpren = VialSpren + SpikeSpren (makes Ferrings) CreationSpren = PureSpren + DestructionSpren Because of their power, both Atium and Lerasium are extremely expensive. -
I think that it wouldn't cure colorblindness; if you gave away the Breaths, you wouldn't be able to see colors. Even one Breath would be enough to let the brain identify colors, though.

Thank you! This makes a lot of sense. I already thought that Willshapers were OP (Dissolving things and teleporting), but if they can do this, then they're almost as OP as an Elsecaller!

I'd be a ringer; you can win any fight against an Allomancer, and use luck to win any other fight!

Nicrosil Ferring metalmind filling question
ostrichofevil replied to athosdebro86's topic in Mistborn
Maybe you can store your nicrosil feruchemy then tap it as Stormlight or Breath. You could use it to Awaken objects or infuse spheres (not use Surgebinding, as while all you need for Awakening is Breath, you need a Nahel bond for Surgebinding). -

Granted. You now have a gas mask permanently fused to your face, and your brain trapped in a small sphere. I wish that Hoid would eat everyone I don't like. -
I made a theme song for the Kholin family: Kholin Alight! Shattered Plains Here it is: https://soundcloud.com/ostrichofevil/kholin-alight This is the main theme. It is not done! I eventually will write themes for Dalinar (maybe with some Kaladin), Adolin, Renarin, and Jasnah (maybe with some Shallan). EDIT - This project is now called Shattered Plains
