  1. Imagine Honorium on Scadrial. Some random, slightly storm-colored metal that turns people into Shaving-o-mancers. Like the powder mages from Brian McClellan, but with metal. Iron Shavings snuff iron and turn into the equivalent of Windrunners as long as they are burning Iron.
  2. Investiture is ice cream, and the Shards flavor that ice cream. Preservation is like a strawberry with strawberry chunks that's so cold mist pours off of it Ruin is like really sugary double chocolate brownie mix Honor is vanilla Cultivation is like a weird health ice cream with protein mix and vitamins Endowment is like a rainbow sherbet Devotion is like a mint-chip Dominion is chocolate-chip cookie dough The Survival Shard is the sugar-free, no artificial flavors ice cream that no-one buys And Odium is made out of horsemeat and tears.
  3. Fun Fact: When I was six I would pronounce "Hours" with an emphasis on the H and with a ghost vowel on the "u". Now say it like that to yourself, and you'll learn why my parents were nearly kicked out of church.

  4. Doesn't the planet determines the focus of the magic system (Scadrial = Metal, Sel = Geography) and then the Shard that powers the magic determines how it is interpreted? Individuals get the energy from Shards when the magic is end-positive, and return it to the Shards when the magic is end-negative. (Generally)
  5. We can't necessarily assume Vasher has seen Wit/Hoid, as Hoid has a tendency to only be seen by those he allows. My personal theory is that Vasher is searching for Nightblood, but there's no real evidence to support that. Maybe he could be getting Nightblood for Hoid to use as a weapon, if they were friends. Or maybe to give to the Seventeenth.
  6. The Synod? The First Generation?
  7. Are you talking about PoV as in Kaladin's PoV book is Way of Kings? If so, then we don't have a real confirmation on those four. In terms of that definition, we know that Szeth, Eshonai, and Dalinar get books (assuming that even if Szeth doesn't have Skybreaker, he'll get some other book along the way). We've gotten hints that "Taln" will get a book, and I think it would be cool to see Hoid get a book (but I kind of doubt it). If you're wondering about just plain old viewpoint characters, try this. EDIT: Ninja'd like a pirate.
  8. Copperminds? (in case you're being sarcastic) Elantris? Gah The Coppermind is being slow so I don't have his name, but when that one Keeper guy who declared Alendi the Hero of Ages wrote down his revelation about Ruin and everything, he engraved it into metal. So that metal thing.
  9. The main character from Firstborn?
  10. Fjon, the one monk Hrathen sends to the monastery. The Priests from Warbreaker (I forget the head priest's name)
  11. Nightblood counts as a Shardblade.
  12. Szeth definitely uses all Lashings. Plus Syl tells Kal that it's pretty much the Windrunner blade that Szeth was using (at least, during that fight, and I doubt Szeth would switch out his blades)
  13. I would not be surprised if that's what is used in the near-future books.
  14. Tonight I played:

Lol. I know the feeling. I haven't played anything quite so involved, but it seems like any sort of concert is incredibly tiring.

You're a sax player? I do low brass (bass trombone)/strings (guitar and violin) myself. Can't sing worth crem though. :P

Dude trombone is so cool, and I wish I knew how to play guitar. My dad played violin but didn't like it very much, and my school doesn't have an orchestra, else I might have ended up playing violin.

(Just to help with the imagery of Papa Pifferdoo playing the violin, he was a linebacker in college)

Trombone is definitely fun to play. It means you have to deal with "tromboner" jokes, all through High School, though. :P

Guitar is also pretty cool, and not that bad to learn. Violin is definitely a pain to learn though, and I'm still not particularly good at that one. It's starting to sound half decent though. (...That's an interesting image. :P)

  15. I'm just gonna come right out and say that I am actually Cultivation, and will be bulldoz- oh, wait, wrong game.
  16. Count Piffula nibbled on a cheese stick while sitting on a larger town. Restless was mumbling to himself, and Count Piffula found this interesting. His Dark Piffiness leaned in to get a closer look, but cheese sticks always made him dizzy, and he fell with a "whumph!". Everybody looked at him. There were some giggles.
  17. I survived! Free drinks at my manor on Scadria...oh wait. I'll just go back to my summer home on First of the Sun. I'm pretty sure I never moved this entire game. Great game!
  18. Allomancy and Sel-ian magic (AonDor)
  19. Name 15 different words for Fire! Synonyms, puns, different languages, all are fair game
  20. I know I'm missing the world of fire that complements the world of ice, which might be Nedavheim or something (I spell them the Norwegian way because I live in Minnesota and that's how I was taught it) EDIT: Is it my turn to give a list?
  21. *Dr. Evil pose* One Million Dollars! (dah duh dah)
  22. After hearing this news, Count Piffula cackled madly and started to twist his fingers in interesting ways. Count Piffula was found moments later in a corner, drawing strange symbols in the sand. Symbols that resembled animals and butts.
