Long Game 10: A Game of Shards
Lord Pifferdoo replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I'm waiting for the next cycle so that we can see the results of various actions, and then I'll draw conclusions from that. Someone will probably die as a result, but that's the risk of this game.- 929 replies

Nightwatcher Boon/Bane (Game)

Granted. You are never able to make a home wherever you go, and you become a wanderer for the rest of your days. I wish for knowledge of who the Eliminators are in the current Elimination Game. (better not be you, ostrich ) -

Granted. Your vision will switch between regular and negatives on uneven intervals, loosely tied to your emotions. I wish for a WiFi hotspot that only I can use, is completly free, and is fast. Like, freaky fast. I'm talking no lag whatsoever fast. -

The Ultimate List of Questions for Brandon
Lord Pifferdoo replied to Chaos's topic in Cosmere Discussion
So what blood type would Soulcast Blood be? I'm guessing either O neg or AB+, but it could also be the blood type of the caster. Related to that, could a Soulcaster change somebody's blood type if they needed a transfusion? -
Long Game 10: A Game of Shards
Lord Pifferdoo replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Okay so my guy is a Zinc Twinborn Compounder for RP purposes, but can we take a moment to acknowledge how awesome this is? He's a guy that can not only use his compounding Feruchemally, thinking at extreme speeds, but also the ability to Riot to a degree equal to if not greater than a Mistborn burning Duralumin. Cranking that power up a notch, and a powerful compounder may be able to Riot one single emotion or drive so that the target can think of nothing other than that one single cognitive byte.- 929 replies

I second the accusation of OP-ness of the Unmade, and suggest instead that another class be implemented, like a Larkin Handler that removes shard-investment or something- 929 replies

Long Game 10: A Game of Shards
Lord Pifferdoo replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
The Marquis de Piffletiff was lounging peacefully on his newly acquired yacht, reveling in a successful door-nailing. Really, you must be a special kind of genius, Tallmenster, thought the Marquis. He had figured out the trick to Rioting one's emotions a long time ago. As a result, he had very high self-esteem, and a tendency to give narrative exposition in his head. Not only are you the only one of the House of Piff that has been to this Shard-forsaken planet, you're also now the only one in recent history that has captured a ship. And you're a Twinborn, to boot! Fate smiled upon you, my friend that is also me! Captain Reynos of Destiny's Call was extremely focused on his current task of manning the ship. He could think of nothing else. Literally. The Marquis had Rioted out all other emotions and cognition not pertaining to manning a ship. He had done the same to everyone else on the ship, including Pelos, his newest steward. He made it almost a hobby of his, collecting stewards from all the places he visited. The Marquis wasn't cruel, however. He always left them on their original planets, even if they were very good stewards. He needed good stewards to look after him in his times of slowness. The Marquis didn't particularly like the periods of time where his thinking slowed, like syrup in winter. But it was a necessity, in case the Marquis came across particularly strong-minded people, or a situation where particularly quick thinking was a necessity. Judging from the rumors I've heard about this place, the Marquis thought, sipping on a strangely-colored drink, only the quick survive.- 929 replies

I just wrote a way too short essay about Beowulf. I had to double check it for Super Bowl references. At one point, Tom Brady threw to Beowulf, but was intercepted by Grendel's mother ripping off Aeschere's head.

In the spirit of the American tradition of watching a bunch of dudes give each other concussions on live television, I thought of a most elegant topic to post. Which one of Brandon's many characters would be the best at American Football? All powers and/or hallucinations are allowed. I'm torn between Kaladin (or any Windrunner really) and Elend, just because he could use his raw allomantic power to push all the opponents away.

Preservation blades, because why not

If Preservation were to be splintered and it's Splinters to turn into blades, it would make more sense for it to be shardknives.- 6 replies

Long Game 10: A Game of Shards
Lord Pifferdoo replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
A note, written on expensive paper, is nailed to the front of Joe's front door. On the front of the paper is written: The Marquis de Piffletiff will be joining this jolly romp through the Cosmere In a slightly smaller font: May the House of Piff never fail to Piff the ever-living snot out of it's opponents! (RP to come soon, first I have to write an essay about Beowulf)- 929 replies

Would people be interested in a Sixth of the Dusk-based game? I'll help design it, but I'm not sure I'd have the time to GM it.

Still trying to organize it. The problem is that one of my players lives half an hour away, and another one is my younger brother who still had a curfew.
