  1. The book addressed to spook pointed him towards another pile of books in the grass. Those would probably be the Words of Founding.
  2. TenSoon literally calls himself Harmony's Preservation in the same sentence, I'm pretty sure.
  3. Yes, I know it hasn't happened, that's part of the point >_> It basically can't happen. A Mistborn will always have more powers than an Inquisitor because Inquisitors are individually collected abilities while Mistborn have the overarching property of "we can burn all allomantic metals" which due to god metals is not a fixed number. With 16 metals, each shard's hypothetical metal, the metals of every possible merging of multiple shards, and potential alloys of all of that stuff, counting the possibilities of a Mistborn sounds like an exercise in frustration.
  4. MeLaan was off the list for me as welL, partly because of TenSoon and partly because Harmony appears to be tracking MeLaan, meaning her thoughts are open. To fake that would require a needlessly complex solution of intercepting and altering Harmony's words and tone in their entirety. I actually had Drim on the list of suspects until he got shot, since he's always there, then it's back to square one, and I realized that his position means he can't leave Innate anyway. Can't be a viewpoint character involved in the investigation, because that's one of the biggest crimes of writing mysteries. Either the investigators or the target are the safest places to be in situations like this, though, as far as prior books and movies tell me, so that left Aradel, his subordinates, and Innate. Reddi's grudge felt too genuine. Aradel is in charge of the cops while Innate is constantly watched, so accomplices were necessary. So I guess I was leaning towards Innate because he needs less accomplices to make it work (just one or two, really), but I was watching Aradel to make a move too.
  5. There's only one Warbreaker. And if you've read WoR without reading Warbreaker you're missing something really interesting.
  6. Zane could literally do full body rotations back into a vertical stance with just a single line, though with some difficulty. Wax is possibly the best coinshot in Elendel right now. Besides, people and the occasional cat flip in midair all the time. I believe it's even possible to do in space if you twist properly. I could at least rotate in water myself underwater pretty well without using my arms or legs.
  7. You'd probably need to approach Inquisitor levels of steelsight to get a clear lock on metal so deeply burried, honestly. Vin didn't even notice Zane had coins in his mouth, imagine a pair of metal spikes impaled through living flesh, and then probably coated in blood or other fluids for good measure. Probably not easy to find without being as strong as someone like Wax, and even then he could barely see them by concentrating on TenSoon.
  8. Seons had also existed long before Elantris fell, IIRC, so Odium should've been long gone by the time the chasm formed.
  9. What does WaW even stand for O_O
  10. I see that name has taken hold of someone.
  11. Hey, I pocket things that I end up using in less than 10 seconds a lot too Holding something while needing to use both hands is inconvenient.
  12. We know about as much about hemalurgy as we do genetic engineering. Not anywhere near enough to be comparable to what a literal god can accomplish.
  13. That hyperlink was butchered so horribly. You're also misinterpreting the annotation completely. 100% there represents "allomantic potential. Vin was snapped in utero as far as we know, so she was technically born with her abilities, while Elend is lerasium infused. 50% is every other allomancer we know, which need severe trauma to awaken their power, and then there's the ones snapped by the mists, which are even lower. Elend is still literally stronger in practice than Vin in every conceivable way.
  14. To make an even worse system, obviously. Not saying I exactly agree with the theory, but Ruin's hemalurgy is basically only good for constructing stronger beings. The result is creative, but the process and purpose is not.
  15. So basically this Is exactly what Harmony has been doing. With the repetitiveness of a desperate door to door salesman, but still.

    Compounders

Besides Rashek you mean? I don't see a problem with that.
  17. There's a meme thread in the General Brandon Sanderson section. At least I think that's the section.
  18. She can bind his shoelaces nonstop until he has a concussion from all the tripping
  19. Most if not all civilizations are terrible places to live in. Lawlessness and slaughter is worse.
  20. Okay, that makes more sense. Did not know that.
  21. At least that was what I remember me wanting the point to be. Posting at 2 past midnight probably wasn't the smartest move Yeah, Ruin was a poor example. Honor works better. Autonomy is closer to an ideology than a phenomenon in some ways. Getting 10 people to honorably doom themselves to eternal torture is something you'd think would be going against every honorable principles out there.
  22. There's also the "My Life To Yours"-stab-in-chest tactic.
  23. Doesn't have to be luck. Spook was literally just stabbed by a sword, it hitting the right spot was Ruin's fault. You do have a point though.
  24. Presumably it should also be possible to store a few spikes inside herself as long as they don't make contact with bind points. It'd just basically be a flesh wound by human standards then, surely?
  25. Harmony never stopped Paalm from killing herself. He literally did nothing after taking over besides having her do nothing instead of trying to crush civilization as we know it. That's no worse than tying someone up in a straightjacket.
