I think being able to do the deed without risk of STDs or other complications probably helps boost incentive for some of the people. People are different though, it really depends.
-
Yeah, I remember a WoB saying that an Inquisitor would be more likely to produce allomancer children . . . if you ignore certain "complications". It's still naturally impossible for a spiritweb to be encoded for two metals. My personal understanding of mistborn allomancers has always more or less been that their connection to Preservation is just so strong that something in that metal-designator for their ability to burn just outright breaks and everything starts being able to flow through.

I'm fairly certain that the books covered more or less everything that mattered. Other than how Ruin was making it stronger. Everything else doesn't really need any reason really, since it honestly just works that way. Preservation didn't cause "some" of the mists. They were literally all of Preservation's investiture that wasn't stuck in the Well cycle, manifested into lerasium, or used to build the spiritweb of some rusting human.

Red and gold is honestly kinda striking. Can relate. I hate the color gold when it's the main color though. Looks really terrible. Red/white/black accented with gold works best.

If you alloy them it's gone. If it's like, half and half with one distinct "Metal 1" bit separate from the "Metal 2" bit I can imagine the charge still existing. Still the wrong bind point though.

Some things I've been pondering during my 38th reread of WOR

I'm not sure if the physical architecture of shardplate is even possible with current Roshar technology. Even the joints are sealed by armor plating. Not chain mail, literal interlocking armor plating. It just holds together somehow, completely sealed by materials that don't even actually bend. That's a lot of pieces. I do believe it's the glyphs on the plate that glow, said glyphs not even being there under normal circumstances. They only appear in flashbacks when the radiants had been infusing stormlight. -
It also affects conservation of momentum and steelpushes/ironpulls, which would have nothing to do with gravitational force, so it's not just gravity that is affected.

We also have, on Earth "Emmanuel" in reference to a guy named Jesus, which makes sense if you actually translate the name. That prophecy was translated from ancient Terris, so it could be a name in the language that means "discord" in their usage, like how according to the First Generation their god is actually called Terr (spelling?) which means something like "to preserve" in the modern TFE tongue.

Well, he'd still be morally gray . . .

Elantris 10th Anniversary version. He apparently tried something. Haven't read it.

Lashing something into orbit should be simple. If you can work out the orbital velocity you want mathematically and get rid of air resistance somehow anyway.
-
Yeah, poor guy. Nobody appreciates the guy working overtime to make sure worlds close shop on schedule.
-
His "become allomancer" plan seems to have worked, to be honest. Better than one of his other plans anyway.

1) If all shardpools aren't literal pools of liquid investiture what else would the term "shardpool" supposed to make us envision? 2) Ruin's power isn't even evil.
-
I think you have the wrong suspect.

Is the default hemalurgic telepathy "spam mail" message just supposed to be "Kill him!"? XD
-
Which, in actuality, is only because it'd be useless otherwise. It apparently will knock you out cold and keeps going until you're supposed to wake up, I think. Real useful, wakefulness feruchemy. For working overtime and to cure insomnia.

I have this suspicion that a kandra would not hear the rhythms and would thus be completely unconvincing.

You'd think with the abundance of coinshots and lurchers that motion would actually be a hot topic of study, come to think of it. Like, ages ago.

And herein lies the inherent flaw in the Skybreaker philosophy Your irredeemable murderer can become someone else's hero. It all really depends on perspective more than anything else. Even if done for selfish reasons, if someone wound up fighting for a cause others deem noble they'd still be a hero to them, no? Why Kell did it is somewhat irrelevant here. In the end, he committed the gravest crimes possible and was hailed and worshipped for it because the people saw it as necessary. Be it for good will, revenge, or the cash that he took on the job, he pulled it off. Condemned by the law yet exalted by the people, and who is the law usually meant to serve? No doubt he and Wax will come to blows if they met, but who would really be the hero then?

That necro. And shardblades cut all three realms, so I would think they exist in all three like every solid object ever seems to be.

You are reborn into the life of Amon. I wish Avatar Wan had his own series. -
Aside from how physically painful that was to even read (not the first time by now, man) as mean as it sounds if you try to convince me that the words of potentially delusional people should be trusted I'd be tempted to knock you out cold and stuff you somewhere if only to save you the trouble of making people facepalm with that logic.

I think it's more that she's probably the biggest piece of investiture in him to be drained that isn't Kaladin's soul.

could there be another big "god"? anti-adonalsium

Not sure if we're even supposed to mention that name here.
