I know. I took that into account. That leaves a 2:1:3 ratio, which is bad news for the Children. Unless you're suggesting a Child is pretending to be an Independent, but I fail to see why they'd do that.

The Lightbringer Series, by Brent Weeks. The Black Prism is the first book in the series. And I looked it up - the 4th out of 5 in the series is coming out October... *grins gleefully*

I can confirm that either one of the players in my World PM that is a 17th Sharder Character, and yet who's alignment is that of a Child, and they were able to succinctly explain the Children's win con. Because of this, I don't believe a 17th Shard faction exists. Has seriously no-one asked for more explanation on why you're voting on Straw without any form of explanation? OK, I was hoping to get as many players in my World to agree to me posting this, but I've gotten 2 people to support it and no-ones opposed it, so I'll reveal the role distributions of my World, based on claims. 2 Children 3 Independents 1 Non-Child Non-Eliminator Faction Member Now, I'm fairly certain that one of the Independents or the person claiming the Non-Eliminator Faction is lying, and is secretly part of Rayse's gang. Which still means we have a 2:1:3 Village: Eliminator: Neutral Ratio, which is extraordinarily biased towards the Eliminators. When I discussed this in the World PM, it was suggested that the game was a faction game after all, with God's own Hate only making up one faction instead of the Eliminator team. However, one of the first claims was of a 17th Shard member, and they were the first to claim a Child, before the name was revealed in thread, and proceeded to tell the faction win con, which was later verified by the other Child of Adonalsium. If the first Child had been a 17th Sharder, I'd have felt it more likely that it was a plain faction game, but as it is, it looks like an unbalanced Eliminator game. I suspect for balance reasons, the Eliminator individual goals will be extraordinarily difficult to complete, meaning that they won't have proper unity. It's also possible that they don't know who their buddies are, and can't claim for fear of being hunted by the Children. But, if the numbers on my planet are indicative of everywhere else (which there's a chance they might not be, though I don't think it likely), then the Eliminators are dangerously close to winning. In fact, maybe Nyali put so few Children in in order to make God's Own Hate scramble to avoid achieving it's win con too early. Joe, I must request that to maintain the anonymity of the other claimees in my World that you, and others who would reveal their planet lists, do not do so. I will not insist on it, but I recommend you independently verify that the stats that I have here are matched in the other worlds as I suspect they are.

Oh yay! Black Prism game! This will be fun! (When's the fourth book coming out, does anybody know? It's been a while since I read the last one...) RP character to come, sorry. Clarifications: Are there any secret roles or items? (Looking at you, Paryl Drafters...) May I ask the point of this? Apart from showing whether they were killed by a sub-red village drafter or with the Eliminator kill, which is usually fairly obvious anyway, it looks pointless.

Joe, do you mind if I ask if you delay revealing your planet's lists? I think I have more worthwhile information that can be revealed instead, because interesting things are happening in my World PM.

Personally, I'm in favour of it being all or nothing. Having one world released and not the others is a lot more likely to disadvantage a specific group of players. As such, if someone from 3 worlds that aren't mine reveal their planet's lists, I will also reveal my planet's list in order to give everyone a complete picture. I advise that you do the same (i.e. we wait for 4 players from different planets to agree to the plan) before we all release the lists relatively simultaneously. Possible reasons against: This game looks like it was strongly inspired by LG21, at least to me. In that game, there was a role (Ruin, IIRC, though I could be wrong) that had the potential to destroy a World, roleblocking everyone on it for that cycle. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a similar role here. On a separate note, I disagree that there is a Village Faction, Joe. There are factions who's intent is styled in a more 'Villager' style, but it remains a faction game, and therefore it is not a villager faction, more an 'anti-other-faction' faction, which happens to be styled in a more Eliminator-y style.

I have heard tales that there are those who can not visit their home planet, as all but 5 are locked away from us, and others may have been severed from their planets. (EDIT: Ninja'd by Joe, and then Rae...) In addition, the plan to stop Rayse has one fatal flaw. In attempting to banish Rayse to Roshar, you give many the potential to flee there and join him. If Rayse and his allies unite under a single banner, your mission will become much more perilous. In this, I suspect, you are wrong. Each planet has their own petty faction wars and disputes. Knights Radiants, Voidbringers, Pahn Kahl and Idrians... It is too much to hope for that a common planet will unite anyone. I intend to worldhop to Scadrial at the end of this turn, as I have business there, except in the unlikely event something of interest occurs in my current world. Messages with others are forbidden to us, unfortunately, except where a precious few have their own methods... However, I will declare this for all the world to hear. I bear no love for Rayse, and will assist you in deposing him and all who would join him, though I do not think your current plan will work.

And we have 30! This is the largest game since MR10, which had 36, so the largest modern SE game. We need 3 more players to sign up for it to be the largest LG Game, or 2 for it to be tied the most number of players in an LG Game with LG11 and LG15b... I feel like summoning a bunch of people right now, but I can't really think of who I should summon... Apart from Elbereth to annoy her. But hopefully...

No, we're just joking around for the most part. I mean, I'm sure a signing doesn't go by without someone making a crack about "The Book of Endless Pages", but for the most part, it's generally good natured. That being said, I haven't read the rules yet. I swear I will before the game begins... *uncrosses fingers behind their back*

Funnily enough, the little girl who wanted to survive with her brother was in QF5, the only other SE FFA game that I know of. I'm not sure whether Meta deliberately sets up sympathetic characters just for FFA games, but I wouldn't be surprised if he did. And because they were FFA games, they weren't killed in the name of justice. They were killed in the name of ruthless efficiency...

It makes perfect sense if you know how dreadful a traitor I am. Dreadful, as in even when I try to abandon my team I fail even at that... (Still, I don't think it would have made much difference... Looking at the numbers, I don't think the village could have won it from the start of my attempted abandonment of the team even if I'd fought tooth and nail to get Meta and Sheep lynched anyhow.)

@Darkness Ascendant, I believe you were curious to try a game, and we definitely need more players for this. (Although, I will say that these are the most complicated rules I have ever seen in SE, so it will certainly be one hell of an introduction...)

Drat... I wanted the game to last just one more turn... Oh well. Maybe next time. Thanks El for running it! I enjoyed it very much. I was sure there were only 2-3 Eliminators, which was why I tried to help them. So well done for keeping that secret.

Well, I've been trying to get people to lynch Magestar for ages, so I'm not going to complain now. I'm not sure, but it seems like Meta's vote on Magestar is almost a distancing vote. One other thing - Luckat is also acting funny, IMO, so I'm prepared to believe he might have become a Returned in the past cycle or two as well. It's not firm enough for me to try to lynch him, but I wouldn't go telling him all the villager secrets. I'll have a more extensive look at my suspicions once I get home from school.

Tentative sign-up depending on whether or not I become the second co-GM. (A word of warning - I won't be able to focus on the game at all until the very tail-end of Day 1/Night 1.)

I don't know if this has ever been explicitly confirmed or denied, but 10 is a recurring number in Stormlight, in the same way that 16 is in Mistborn. However, I doubt your theory, as Shalash, the patron of Lightweavers, is marked as being the Flashback character for one of the books, and Shallan is also a Lightweaver. There are no known entries of a Dustbringer having a flashback sequence either (and one other order which I can't remember.) Well, we know what the orders are from what Brandon's told us in interviews, but we don't know what all of them do. RAFO, or Read and Find Out. It's what Brandon's told us when we've asked that. Expect to see that answer a lot, particularly when you start asking questions about the cosmere... Errrr... Being a bow and an arrow would require her to split herself in two, which I'm not sure whether or not she can do. That being said, it has been confirmed that Lift's spren, Glys, could turn into a Shardfork is Lift so desired. That answer is a part RAFO, part we-don't-know (though it almost certainly would get a RAFO if it were asked.) There is a theory that there are fewer of the Bondsmiths (something that's mentioned by the epigraphs) because Bondsmiths like Dalinar need to bond with spren that have been dubbed "God-Spren", but that's just speculation.

There is way too close a gap between Sheep and Alex right now, so I'll try and distance it. I haven't really seen any red flags from Sheep and Alex's post did seem slightly strange to me - though I wasn't going to make a big deal about it before since he was a new player. Anyway, I should be on about a couple hours after rollover.

Well, it looks like everyone wants to lynch Lopen, and he is my second strongest suspicion. That's not to say I trust Mage, though. If Lopen does turn out to be an Eliminator, I'll be more inclined to give Mage a rest from my suspicions, though. This seems particularly suspicious to me - it's exactly the kind of thing I was talking about. It's almost as though you're hopping up and down yelling "I'm a villager! Trust me! It's the ones that aren't voting with me that are evil!", which just seems funny from my perspective. Hmmm... 7 minutes left. Good. If Lopen is an Elim, hopefully they won't have time to manipulate the vote any more than they are.

Alright, I'm going to place a vote on Magestar. Sorry I didn't do this before, but I'm much more suspicious of Mage than I am of Meta right now. If the lynch doesn't take off against Mage in the morning, I'll swap to Meta to prevent vote manipulations. For starters, multiple people have had elim reads on Mage. Now, I personally don't see whatever it was that they saw, but when several people separately think Mage is fishy, I'm not going to ignore that. But, much more fishy in my opinion, is how Ecth and Mage treated each other during Day 2. Magestar gets an early vote to generate discussion. He responds more aggressively then I'd expect, looking back. The next vote goes on Ecth, because he wasn't killed by the Drab kill, and Conq found that suspicious (note: I have a moderate village read on Conq because of that). Mage does not vote on Ecth. In fact, he does not even mention Ecth that I saw in my skim read until about 4 posts later, and that is cursory. Instead, he votes on Frozen, and then when that fails to take off, follows Meta on the lynch on Mark, who we now know is a villager (note: I have a slight village read on Frozen). Then, there's this, which is possibly my strongest reason for distrusting Mage He moves to defend Ecth, then withdraws whatever he posted, which could easily be because he doesn't want to be tied to Ecth if one of them is revealed. Not enough evidence isn't really a reason to withdraw a comment, IMO... even with no evidence, you still can and should comment on who your gut reads are. And a number of people commented on how strongly Mage tried to defend himself after the votes appeared, and that I can see. Those posts where he was quite aggressive seemed like he was trying to cast suspicion on the player(s) that accused him in order to shut down the conversation rather than defending himself with actual logic (although, admittedly, there probably wasn't that much logic he could have used so early in the game to defend himself with, which is always a problem in the first few days. Still, he has a couple extra cycles under his belt now, and I still fail to see evidence of his villagery-ness. If Mage would care to enlighten me? I could have sworn that Ecth said somewhere that he had a village read on Mage as well, which was going to be another piece of evidence, but I can't find it. Never mind. Lopen is also an Elim read to me right now right now, just because of the actions (with him and Aman, I'm slowly learning to forget everything they actually say when trying to get a read on them, and focus solely on what they do in actions. The last minute switch to Araris was fairly suspicious, IMO, particularly with Luckat's theory of what happened in the Day 2 lynch, which was proven to be correct at least as far as Ecth was concerned. That's probably my strongest argument for Mage's innocence, because he's marked Lopen as one of his elim reads.

I also don't have much time on my hands, but I'd like to point out that Ecth and a few people who have been individually mentioned as suspicious have had "trusts" on each other for most of the game (from memory, I think Mark and Magestar were part of this group, but I'll go back and double check the thread to make sure before I do proper analysis tonight). I'm going to be focusing on that little trust group for the vast majority of my analysis at least until I see some kind of proof that they're villagers. The elim reads individually, combined with the ties to Ecth and each other, make them by far the strongest elim reads in my mind. Actually, for that reason, because Mark is trying to get us to forget the riddle, it makes me suspect Doctor slightly more by association, but I'm not nearly as sure about that. I did have a weak to moderate village read on him before that. I will agree that Luckat is basically soft-cleared now. They're definitely my strongest trust.
