  1. Orlok, because there's already a majority, and seeing as I still have an alliance with Bugsy for what it's worth, that provides me with even more reason.
  2. Sorry I haven't posted yet this cycle. I've been busy with RL stuff. I wanted to get a vote and analysis posted before rollover, so I've dashed to my local library in my lunch break to post this. There are a massive number of people not voting, which is a problem. The eliminators could be only a few turns from winning, and letting them control the lynch would be a bad idea. Please, if you're lurking, place a vote down on whoever you think is suspicious, with a few lines of reasoning. That said, it's basically between Aman and Ren this close to rollover. I'm not sure I'm particularly suspicious of Ren, but Aman was one of my strongest trusts before today (and many others as well), and I don't want there to be a chance of the Eliminators pulling a bandwagon at the last minute against him. So, Ren. Analysis and general thoughts are being typed up, but I want to make sure as many people see this before rollover, so I'll post this now.
  3. I was attacked twice last night, and my Pokemon was Confused by one of them (Confusion seems to do 2 damage in addition to the attack itself... Is this consistent with what happened to you, Lopen?) Seeing as only an unknown Pokemon could have done that, and there's one player who we know has an unknown Pokemon but hasn't elaborated on what it does - Magestar. Magestar, now would be a good time to post what your Pokemon does.
  4. OK, I've been really busy for the past couple days which is why I didn't really get to post. To make up for that, here's an in depth discussion about each player, and general thoughts (I might make Day/Night 3 a standard time to do this, just because it's when I finally am. 1. Alv (Adonai) - Retired Pirate apparently. Looking at Aman's post about the number of protect roles, I'm fairly certain some of them are probably Eliminators, but it's hard to tell. So, paranoia makes me mark him as a slight distrust, but I really have no idea. 2. Aman (Father Mai) - Strong Village read. He's doing a lot of things I'd expect village!Aman would do, and most people I've spoken to agree with me. 3. Antgrgmn ( ) - They'll die by inactivity filter this turn. No point even guessing who/what they were (though I'd guess probably village, simply by probability). Shame. 4. Aonar (Aoryn Rasiar) - Too little information to tell. Lopen seems to distrust Aonar due to lurking, so I'd like to hear a bit more from them. 5. Araris (Alaraon) - The bandwagon on them was unusual, and I'm not quite sure what to make of it. It could have been a distancing tactic, or it could have been a bandwagon to prevent the real eliminator being lynched, which was Aonar... but that was only one vote. 6. Arraenae (Anelin) - Claimed Neutral Beggar, with a survive win con. This seems a little easy, particularly since she could essentially make herself immune to the night attacks by becoming a Bodyguard (which there seem to be a lot of this game.) So, I suspect this is a case of a partial truth. 7. Bard ( ) - Villager... Definitely... 8. Burnt Spaghetti (Naara Ghetti) - Made quicklinks - she's obviously an eliminator. Let's lynch her. (No idea.) 9. Con (Lorien) - No idea. Almost an identical case to Alv's, except without the paranoia. 11. Elbereth (Liadan) - Her camp should be nearly finished now - so we should start seeing more of El soon. While she was on camp, she said she hadn't checked her alignment yet, posted once, saying wouldn't be on again until after her camp. I had half a dozen PM's with her before (I think) she finished her camp. One of the reasons she might have changed her mind is that she's an eliminator and doesn't want to let the team down due to absence... (Though this might be my brain offering an excuse to be bitter after LG23, so I'd like to see/hear a little more to see.) 12. Elenion (Ashkelon) - I'm not going to keep rehashing this if nobody else thinks that he's acting weirdly. Aman's post does explain Len's thought process to a certain extent. 13. Elodin (Lexicon) - Not enough to tell. 14. Emerald (Opa Krieger) - I really think the eliminatory-ness of their posts is overstated. I don't see anything wrong with their posts so far (I can't see what their post with Wilson was like, and I don't know why they wouldn't post their defence in-thread, but that's about the only thing with Emerald that's set alarm bells off in my head. 15. Eolhondras (Eoltias) - Not enough to tell. 16. Jaimie (Janomi) - I've had one PM label them as a distrust and asked me to keep an eye on their posts/PM's. Honestly, I think there's too little to tell. 17. Kipper (Kipper) - Moderate to heavy distrust. I found I tended to react against his playstyle in MR15, though, so I can't really say if my read is accurate. 18. Lopen (Lopen) - Moderate to strong village read. Lopen and Aman would probably be the two people I trust most in the game right now. 19. Magestar (James Kailin) - Slight gut village read. This is very shaky, though, and I've been to and fro about this for a little while already. 21. Orlok (Locke) - Not enough to tell. 22. Ren (Renoth) - I'm not sure if I've just imagined it or whether Ren's started posting less since Maill's list, but I was more interested to see Ren's posts after the fact, and was frustrated by how little they posted (though that was more than me, I guess, so I don't blame them if they had RL stuff). If Ren does have a conversion role, then it makes me wonder what their win con would be, seeing as we wouldn't need to kill the converted to win. 23. Sart ( ) - An eliminator, according to Maill's list, but I haven't seen any evidence either way, so I'll say a slight distrust pending some sort of response from @Sart. 24. SD (Fiydir) - Too inactive to tell. 25. Silverblade (Ryth) - A fair amount of new suspicion brought up by Rae. A number of people have commented that they've posted a fair bit more than they usually do. I don't think Rae has a reason to lie about this at this point, particularly since lying would almost certainly get her lynched, so I'm inclined to trust her. 26. STINK (JUMAE) - Stink. Need I say more? (I think he's probably telling the truth about his claim, but that's basically a guess.) 28. Wilson (Original Wilson) - I've heard a couple people say they found here playstyle slightly off, but I couldn't tell anything (but then I probably wouldn't if she was an eliminator until I got a more general idea of what the differences between Village!Wilson and Eliminator!Wilson are.) Dead: 10 Ecthelion III (Aeleus): Citizen Noble (via night kill) 20. Maill (Esheo) : Citizen Bodyguard (via lynch) 27. Straw (straw): Citizen Retired Pirate (via night kill) Regarding Maill's list (and my "Jeskeri" label on it): It's very hard to defend myself when I haven't been given any form of reasoning behind Maill's claim. From Day 1, I suspect it's Maill's gut read on me that he's put me there for, although I have no idea why he called me a "Jeskeri", seeing as we have no idea what the factions are even called yet. The only actual argument I can find is Len talking about me tunnelling on him. The thing is, he fakeclaimed something which I thought Night 1 would be an ideal fakeclaim to make, so I was suspicious of him. I’ve heard a more objective story now from Aman’s post, so I’m less concerned about that, but at the time, I think I was justified in being suspicious. If there’s anything significant that I’ve missed, do you mind PM’ing me or supplying a quote in thread? I think I’ve covered basically everything I wanted to, but there was a lot to get through.
  5. Well, I've made a no attack deal with Elenion, so I guess I'll bus Orlok. It's the only way to tell if Len or Meta are telling the truth. Whoever's lying we lynch next turn. (If it is Len, I won't take part, but I won't try to stop it either.)
  6. I wouldn't mind getting in on the no-aggression team, if it's all the same to you. Because I would not be amused if a lurker or an inactive ended up winning the game by ducking under the radar, they're going to be my primary targets in the early game. @Sart is the first person that I saw that has been on since rollover, so he'll get my vote for now.
  7. Sorry, Mailliw. Elenion. You claimed Pirate to me in PM's, and I told you I was suspicious of that. Now you come out in thread and say you're a Duke. Which raises the question: Why would you fakeclaim a Pirate (which you've now admitted is a false claim). It's exactly the sort of thing that an eliminator would post, because it is both almost impossible to prove, (even before you take secret roles into account) and it also slightly discourages And now you claim Duke. I wouldn't be surprised if you actually were a Duke, because of Magestar's post. But that still doesn't prove that you're a Citizen in any way. A Duke would be an incredibly handy role for an Eliminator to have. Even if he isn't lynched, I strongly suggest he's scanned tonight. I'm sorry this is so brief, but I have to get out the door, and won't be on until right on rollover or a bit after. Sorry.
  8. I'm pretty sure Brent Weeks was a former student of Sanderson, IIRC. I thoroughly recommend his Lightbringer series (of which the fourth and final book is coming out in October - I'm excited already). Correction: The fourth and penultimate book (because he's added an extra one again) will be out this October. I'm very excited.
  9. Huh. I thought this wasn't going to end for another Cycle or two. This is the point where all the Ventures yell at El a lot, isn't it?
  10. I've king of done that a couple times. I said there were Darkfriends in QF16 (I was playing that and LG22 at the same time, and I was a villager in both.) However, that doesn't really apply to secret factions. Oh, by the way, Silverblade. Because I forgot to do it before (though I'd still like to hear them speak about their opinion of todays events. Could a Dula in the thread please scan Elenion, and find out if he's an eliminator or not? PM your results to the player you trust most, and have them reveal it to the thread, if you don't want to reveal. I don't want to risk him being a Jester this cycle, but he has been acting a little suspiciously (in thread and in PM's. I'm fairly certain he's attempted to lie to me once already.) And, I suppose that leaves me to solidify the lynch on Straw, to prevent any vote manips. Oh, also: I want to get off this wild ride - into an even wilder one of an OOG PM led by Stink. Eh, sanity was never one of my strongest goals in life.
  11. OK. That's good for planning and all of that, but it makes things difficult with score compositions and so on. I'll wait for your go ahead before doing anything else like that, though.
  12. Oh... That certainly makes location issues a lot easier. (Although rendering suddenly becomes a lot harder...) That would be great! I could do with some help. I'll create a Dropbox here for SA files (I find it easier than Discord to actually find the files if you're looking for it several months later...) Maybe for the scriptwriting Google Docs would be better, but I'll leave that up to Darkness Ascendant. (Anyone interested in adding/contributing to the project, please send a PM to me, and I can give you editing rights.) EDIT: I've created a Dropbox folder - anyone who's interested in the project can PM me an e-mail address so I can give them editing access. (You can make one especially for this, if you're worried about privacy issues.)
  13. I have a Windows computer, and I've never heard of Acid. Generally, I use Musescore to work on the score and then transfer it to the school computer because it has Sibelius, which has better midi files at the very end. (I really should get it over with and just pirate Sibelius...)
  14. I can help with the music score, as well as scriptwriting. I agree that filming the actual thing will be by far the hardest part (we have 2 Sydneyers, though. Any other Australian fans interested in joining in?) I mean, I'd be happy to try and give other stuff a go, but those two are the only things I have experience in (and I have a bit of experience acting, as well, but if you want fans to do the acting, it would almost certainly be in America to get enough people. There just aren't enough Australian Sanderfans around.)
  15. Apparently one Council in Sydney asked for their whole suburb to be made Poke-free. I get why people wouldn't want Pokemon Go in certain areas, like cemeteries, and I whole-heartedly agree, but really? A whole suburb? I get that there are some people who will be idiots, but the vast majority of Pokemon Go players are going to be reasonable and take into account that they are in a public setting and that there are rules attached. A gentle reminder of that is all that's needed, in my opinion. http://www.smh.com.au/business/consumer-affairs/pokemon-go-residents-call-police-as-rhodes-swamped-20160712-gq4hb3.html
  16. ...Wow. That is one long doc. LG22 had 12 pages on the first day, but most of that came in the last couple hours before rollover. This is going to be one hectic game. I’m not sure if I can say anything new that hasn’t been said already, but I’ll state where I stand on a few of the players that seem to have had a lot of focus. Elenion: I’m having a hard time trying to read Len. He doesn’t seem to follow the established pattern for what SE Players do. That works in some situations, not in others. Overall, I don’t think Len’s posts are indicative either way, simply because I think he could act that either as a villager or as an eliminator. He does reference MR15 a lot, but I’m sure if I went and looked at LG22, my second game, that I would have done the same thing with LG21. Ultimately, the meta does seem to indicate that Len would do that sort of thing even as a villager, but Eliminator!Len would know that, so it doesn't really show either way. What I'm most concerned about is Len's Suicide Plan. I don't think it would gain us much, and if there's a Jester role, it could cost us. Out of 100, he’d be a 47 or 48. I advise against lynching him for now unless new evidence comes to light. Emerald: I didn’t really see anything strange in what Emerald was saying. He had a suspicion, and he called it. In fact, I find people who usually turn votes into bandwagon get a lot of attention/suspicion, which makes eliminators less likely to do so. Now, I know that creates an IKYK, but even then, I don’t consider this to be indicative either way. 50 out of 100. Stink: Trying to analyse Stink is like trying to build a Hadron Collider out of toilet paper and dental floss. Completely and utterly impossible. His claim - I intend to look at another game he’s been an eliminator in, to see what he’s like then. I’d say I’m slightly more inclined to trust him, but barely noticeable, simply because I don’t think an Eliminator would want to draw so much attention to themself. It's definitely possible that he wants us to think that, though. Out of 100, he’d be a 51.
  17. Oh yes. Didn't I mention it? I will bring balance to all, whether they want it or not...
  18. Spoilsport.
  19. And I've now made them exactly equal. Let the fun begin I think we all know who's going to win though... It's clearly me... :-)
