    Thanks bloodfalcon for the tidbit about Constable Brettin. (upvote) By the way SPOILER ALERT! So...what do you think is going on with Miles Hundredlives screaming about men of red and gold bearing the final metal ruling everyone? It seems that this must be the focus of what the Set is working toward...but...what the heck? -Now that Harmony has remade the world...are the pits once again producing Atium? Is the well of ascension refilling? What is Marsh doing back? Since he is spiked (understatement) is he in constant communication with Harmony? Again...what the heck?

    Braize is a Shardworld in Greater Roshar, the same system as Roshar and Ashyn. Odium settled there, although his presence is still felt on Roshar. Braize is unlikely to get its own books, but scenes from The Stormlight Archive will be set on Braize. Braize is known to the Vorin people as Damnation. I always assumed that when the Heralds talk about going to the place of nightmares in between desolations...they were hopping between Roshar and Braize (where Odium hangs out). I am aware that this does not involve characters from Roshar appearing in other books that we have already read...I just wanted to know if anyone else agreed.

    I like Conscience...for example...when going into battle you could store conscience...making you totally merciless and able to do grievous harm to others without feeling bad about it...or...tap conscience when making big decisions that impact other people so that you know you will stand by your choice in the long run. Intoxication...drunk and need to drive somewhere? Start storing that buzz and you'll be fine to drive...stuck at your 10 year old son's elementary school production of Cats? That buzz might just make it a little more bearable and no one will know that you've had a few.

    I went with steelrunner. While all of the abilities have their own special draw...and all would be incredibly useful...quick is deadly. I feel that speed is something that would be pretty easy to store (while reading, while riding in a plane/car/bus/train/etc, while watching TV, while sitting in my office chair at work) You could get places around town really fast without a car...you could really win almost any fight...finishing housework and yard work in record time would be pretty boss... While Skimmer is a close second for me...I can't help but dwell on the really practical Subsumer. The money and time spent eating could be totally minimized...Long backpacking trips in the back country of national parks (something I'm rather fond of doing) would become a lot easier...I would also become the world's greatest competitive eater.

    I've heard this mentioned in a few threads. How do we know that the mysterious woman who gave Wax his earring is actually MeLaan? I know that Wax says something about how she must have been one of the faceless immortals...but other than that...how do we know it was MeLaan specifically? I'm not doubting that this is true...just getting my facts in order for future thought.

    I'm going to breeze over a few of the arguments that have been made so far and just get right to it... Unless Shallan is able to soulcast vin into smoke or something...Vin is going to trash her...Vin will then proceed to exterminate everyone else on Roshar just so they can't come worldhopping over to Scadrial looking for revenge.

    I have to agree that soulcasting would be the most useful surge for every day life. Need some money?...make some gold. Run out of booze at your house party...fill the bathtub and turn it into whiskey. Neighbor is bugging you?...fill his swimming pool with blood. Have trash that won't fit in the dumpster?...turn it into smoke. Worried that the creepy girl at the party put something in your drink?...soulcast it back into beer. Wanna know what someone looks like naked?...turn their clothes into water. (I know that last one was a little weird...but you know you would totally do it if you couldn't get caught.) Got pulled over for driving drunk?...soulcast your blood.

    I know this is kind of dumb...but...have you ever gone to a town fair or carnival...and there's that guy trying to guess people's weight...Feruchemy = easy carnival prize. On the note us storing or taping wakefulness as a cure for insomnia...could a chemically imbalanced bipolar feruchemist use electrum to stay balanced?

    I've definitely thought about how useful it would be to be able to fall asleep and wake up on command, having stored the wakefulness from while you were out. I might even bring a comfy wheel chair with me just in case there is a long line. "Hey pal...I'm gonna take a little snooze in this wheel chair...can you push me ahead of you until we get to the front?" Not to mention how much this would come in handy on long flights. LAX to Laguardia in 7.5 hours seems like the blink of an eye...and you can tap wakefulness to avoid jet lag!

    Have you ever wanted to slash the tires on someone's car? Just imagine their expression when they are leaving for work in the morning and the whole engine in on the ground under the car. Or...systematically replace the face on all statues in the world with your own... mess with people by cutting things in half when they are not looking then dismissing your blade..."I don't know man it just FELL in half!"

    Up vote to Ooklalhoo again. Can anyone think of any other ways that you could use modern technology to increase the rate at which you can store various attributes? - If I take a bunch of stimulants to get all jazzed up...can I store some wakefulness without going to sleep...If I still have to fall asleep will I store more wakefulness because of my stimulated state?

    Well it would certainly be fun to try... Anyway...up vote for acknowledging my obviously flawed logic. AND...use massive emotional pushes and pulls on everyone around the crazy homeless person with a tinfoil hat, further encouraging their paranoid delusion. (by the way...does anyone else find it hilarious that on scadrial, wearing an aluminum hat ACTUALLY prevents people from controlling your thoughts?)

    Yes...how awesome would it be to NEVER FORGET ANYTHING? Example: Stand there looking at your keys and store a memory of where they are...then stand there looking and your keys try to and remember where they are...if you don't remember when you need your keys...check your coppermind. (Pun intended) When I started this thread...I neglected a very obvious argument FOR feruchemy...the website we all use is called coppermind...NOT smoker. On a side note: If you are storing speed while sitting on a bullet train...do you store speed faster? If you are storing breath while wearing an oxygen mask...do you store breath better? Do fat people store weight faster than skinny people? If you are stranded on a deserted island...would you rather be able to eat your steel knife to push on metal?...or store speed in your steel knife?

    Upvoted for using the word "dank" as an adjective that does not describe something inhalable or rotting.Otherwise...I like Hrahen (despite the bandwagon) Brandon has hinted that a dead character may reappear...and I would love for it to be Hrathen.

    Yes. I'm referring to obiwan after he is killed by Vader. By the way...forest of he'll is the only consumers story that I have not read. So my reference may be poorly made.
